The books are part of the school routine in the course of our lives, currently, we are the gateway to the processes of social literacy that begins with the presentation of these objects for babies and children in early childhood education (EI). This research has the main question: to know how are the libraries or reading rooms in Early Childhood Education Centres (CEI) of Botucatu. Thus, the overall goal is to understand, characterize and analyze the CEIs libraries Botucatu. What implies: investigate and analyze the existing legislation on school libraries, their approach to the reality of the CEIs and the official documents of early childhood education; To investigate the relationship between the child and the playful objects (books, toys etc.) and finally discover and describe the reality of School Libraries in CEIs studied. The research is qualitative orientation, more precisely a Case Study. The space, proper equipment and support provide a rich learning that will serve as the basis for school achievements. However, the offering of School Libraries and Reading Rooms in many cases it is not a reality. The survey took into account which of the schools have assets, how is the organization of space, the playful activities with learners users and which functions, training and professional responsibilities designated as responsible for School Library/Reading Room. It is noteworthy to say the official documents as a basis and motive of this research as well as the fulfillment of established targets and carried out by the municipal, state and national governments on the implementation of School Libraries in schools, with the help of programs like National Fund Development of Education (ENDF), National School Library program (PNBE) and the National Book and Reading Plan (PNLL)

This study explores comics as an educational tool in teaching Italian as a foreign language, and shows that, in this perspective, the potential of this medium goes beyond the idea that pictures can help to understand words. Comics has to be understood as a unified text, where it is precisely the combination of pictures and words that promotes the development of the students' linguistic and communicative competences. The general educational potential of comics is analyzed in Chapter 1, with a focus on the notions of closure, cartooning and here and now, which are in harmony with the application of ludic teaching theories; an analysis then follows on the features of comics that can be exploited in the field of language teaching; finally a description is provided of the linguistic competences whose development can be favored by comics. Emphasis was placed only on those competences that are most affected by the context of use, i.e, lexical, textual, pragmatic and (inter-)cultural competences. In Chapter 2, three Italian comic books are analyzed with an eye to their use as teaching material in three ideally homogeneous classes, respectively belonging to the Common European Framework of Reference for Language A2, B2 and C2 levels. The cognitive processes carried out by students to achieve a global understanding of each book are postulated both for picture-to-picure and picture-to-word relations. After an overview of the main planning phases of a language-learning pathway, the educational approach adopted in Chapter 3 places the students at the core of the learning process, and emphasizes the need for a cooperative and interactional relationship between learners and teachers. In Chapter 4, three hypothetical learning pathways are described. Their main goal is to develop the linguistic and communicative competences of the students, who would then be able to understand and produce text not merely as learners, but rather as readers, hence users of an Italian cultural product.

El artículo focalizará especialmente en el trabajo gráfico de Carlos Giménez, historietista madrileño que ha utilizado sus viñetas para representar la vida española desde la Guerra Civil hasta el fin del franquismo, atravesado por su experiencia vital. 36-39 Malos tiempos, pero sobre todo Paracuellos y Barrio forman parte de su historia personal durante la Guerra Civil y el franquismo. En Argentina, los casos de autores como Mariano Grassi o María Delia Lozupone y Rafael Cippolini plantean desde otro enfoque generacional y estilístico la misma mirada intimista frente a la dictadura argentina. Este trabajo buscará establecer un diálogo entre estas manifestaciones tratando de analizar el entramado entre la historia y su representación en viñetas.

Entre los múltiples personajes propios de la literatura latinoamericana, posiblemente el gaucho argentino ha sido el que ha despertado un mayor interés por la creación literaria, con el Martín Fierro de José Hernández como buque insignia de una amplia tradición. Esta se ve recogida muy pronto por la narración gráfica, ya sea a través de las ilustraciones de las ediciones clásicas, o en las adaptaciones de las grandes obras en revistas de historietas. Todas ellas van configurando una iconografía que completa el imaginario de los guachos, fundamental para la identidad argentina. En el siguiente trabajo haremos una panorámica de las historietas de gauchos desde las revistas tradicionales, las adaptaciones de obras literarias, como las del Martín Fierro, hasta personajes propios como Lindor Covas o Inodoro Pereyra.
