Toxic effect of chalkones and antitoxic role of ascorbic

One of the chalkones synthesised in the author's laboratory was selected to determine its toxicity to fish, Lepidocephalicthys thermalis at different concentrations and time periods. Ascorbic contents were determined and it was found to be antitoxic.
