O uso do vídeo como recurso didático para o ensino de Ciências e Biologia

As características dos animais do Filo Echinodermata e seus principais representantes são conteúdos abordados no ensino médio, na disciplina de Biologia. Dessa maneira, é importante a produção de um material didático que favoreça o entendimento dos alunos frente a esse tema. Sendo assim, os objetivos do trabalho foi elaborar um material didático na forma de vídeo para professores e alunos do ensino médio, que facilite a visualização e compreensão das principais características dos animais representantes do Filo Echinodermata e um guia de utilização do recurso para os professores, propondo a formas de abordar os conteúdos, utilizando as fotos e esquemas contidos no vídeo e o desenvolvimento de atividades como mais uma forma de avaliar os alunos. Todo o conteúdo abordado foi retirado de livros didáticos específicos de zoologia de invertebrados, a fim de prevenir a ocorrência de erros conceituais

Ginástica para idosos: relato de experiência sobre programa desenvolvido na Dinamarca

The increase in the elderly population has been significant in recent years in Brazil, with the growth in the relative share of the population aged 65 or more, which was 4.8% in 1991 and reaching 7.4% in 2010, this occurred mainly due to the growth of the adult population, especially also for the increased participation of the elderly population (IBGE, 2010). This situation has challenges of political, social, economic and mainly related to the health of the elderly population. The practice of physical activity, especially gymnastics, are offered to the population as a means of improving the health and quality of life (BURINI, 2005; MATSUDO, 2002; MAZO, 2003). From this context, this course conclusion work aims to report gymnastics programs developed in Denmark for the elderly population and reflect on the differences and similarities with the Brazilian fitness programs for seniors presented in the literature. The method used to develop this work of completion will review the literature on physical activity programs for seniors and, in particular, gymnastics, developed in Brazil and published in national Physical Education, minimum classification B2 (CAPES, 2012 ). Parallel to this, the description of fitness programs directed to older people in Denmark, as an account of personal experience of five months in Folk High School Gymnastik og Idraetshojskolen Viborg / Denmark. In the results of the study, were founded eight projects of physical activity of elderly people in the articles. Compared with the Brazilian projects studied, and observed Danish, they differ primarily the goals of the programs, which directly influences the activities conducted training. The frequency is similar but the Danish culture of physical exercise, makes Denmark people want to practice more activities off-hours programs. Another equally important aspect that emerges... Uma análise sobre a polêmica entre sentido externo e sentido inetrno na formação do Brasil: a reflexão estrutural e as novas complexidades

Este trabalho tem o objetivo de analisar a polêmica gerada pela publicação de Arcaísmo como Projeto, de Fragoso e Florentino. Apoiados no mercado atlântico como inserção determinante da economia colonial, no papel estrutural do tráfico de escravos na África como nas colônias americanas, na expansão ultramarina portuguesa como projeto social para a manutenção do Antigo Regime, acabando por reproduzir hierarquia desigual e excludente na colônia e apropriando apenas o resultado final do excedente gerado, os autores afirmam que deste conjunto emergem as condições para um circuito interno de acumulação. Mercadores cariocas, a partir da transformação das formas de acumulação ao longo do século XVIII, preenchem os espaços mercantis internos e alçam-se à hegemonia socioeconômica local, apropriando-se de excedentes agroexportadores sem contudo levar estes à ruína, em função da elasticidade da oferta interna, desta forma reiterando a ordem social excludente da colônia, e criando quadros de monopólio para a elite mercantil. Esta proposta será descrita e criticamente apreciada no capítulo 2. Precedendo-a, apresentamos no primeiro capítulo uma leitura da explicação em “formação da estrutura subdesenvolvida brasileira”, em Furtado. Analisamos extensamente sua análise pautando-nos pelos elementos que entendemos serem centrais, a formação de capital e o nível de renda verificados a partir da produção exportadora em cada período colonial, e a possibilidade de desenvolvimento que permitem. A conclusão é uma síntese entre a reflexão estrutural(ista) de Furtado e o isolamento teórico de Fragoso e Florentino, apontando o papel que entendemos para estes no debate após as críticas a sua proposta, assim como propomos a importância das análises clássicas ao entendimento do resultado histórico brasileiro

Registros em sala de EJA: instrumentos para a vida e aprendizagem

Este estudo foi desenvolvido a partir da atuação, como educadora-bolsista, em uma sala de aula possibilitada pelo projeto EJA/PIBID (Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Incentivo a Docência) assim, a partir da vivência junto às práticas escolares diárias e na busca de novas formas de ensinar os conteúdos escolares foi elaborado este estudo que visa refletir sobre as práticas da escrita e os sentidos que os alunos da EJA vão atribuindo a esse ato. As práticas aqui trazidas referem-se às práticas de registros escritos e da oralidade em sala de aula, que desafiam para outros olhares, principalmente por se tratar de jovens e adultos pouco ou não escolarizados. Para pensar a importância dos registros em sala de aula, que é o objeto principal deste estudo, parte-se de alguns apontamentos sobre a oralidade, na e pela oralidade; assim vai se delineando o objeto do estudo. Como referenciais teóricos foram escolhidos autores como Ana Maria de Oliveira Galvão, Anabela Brito de Freitas Mimoso, Valdemir Miotello, Elizabeth Vencio, entre outros que fazem referência à oralidade vinculada às práticas de escrever; nesses autores, busco estabelecer um espaço para a mesma aprendizagens em sala de aula. São referências também autores como João Wanderlei Geraldi e Paulo Freire que pontuam e defendem que a aprendizagem da escrita deve ser um processo com sentido para o aluno. O trabalho contempla como material de análise os registros elaborados a partir de experimentações em uma sala de educação de jovens e adultos, envolvendo a oralidade, e os registros escritos, produzidos pelo grupo, em um caderno denominado “Caderno de Registro das Aprendizagens”; nele, os registros eram feitos, ao final das aulas, pelas alunas e pelas educadorasbolsistas. O trabalho apresenta algumas considerações acerca da oralidade, reconhecendo sua presença e importância na produção da escrita na sala de aula, da sala de aula para a vida dos alunos na EJA

Opinião de familiares sobre a internação de crianças em uma Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Pediátrica

A Pediatric Intensive care Unit (PICU) is an environment where care is provided to seriously ill children. Hospitalization is regarded as an unpleasant experience that requires adaptation and routine change. To assess the opinion of relatives of children hospitalized at a PICU concerning tie breakage and/or separation between children and their families. It is a descriptive, cross-sectional, quantitative study. A structured interview was conducted with the families of hospitalized children from July to September, 2010. The data were statistically analyzed. RESULTS: Twenty relatives were interviewed, 80% of whom believed that children’s behavior changes when they are present in the unit, and 85% considered the visitation time established to be sufficient. All the respondents reported to be satisfied about the care provided. The feelings prevailing in 50% of the relatives were fear and hope. Change in the family’s union after hospitalization occurred in 85% of the families. The most fearful aspect concerning the ICU is the equipment (25%), and the most worrisome, as regards personal life, is the separation from other children (65%). Health care professionals must pay more attention to relatives by including them in their health care plan so that the health care team and the family, who are essential in children’s recovery, can interact in a congenial fashion. It is also necessary to improve the knowledge related to that subject so that the health care team and families can work together towards children’s recovery

Projeto de conjunto redutor de velocidade utilizando engrenagem sem-fim

This work is initially based in give a solution to a problem consisting of lifting a load in a warehouse focusing specifically on the solution´s project and comparison of the results obtained following the sequence of the book and comparing these results with the finite elements simulation based on the 3D components modeling. Starting from that was realized the project of the worm gear reducer to solve the problem and makes the work easier. The project consisted basically of the study, project itself and simulation by software of a worm gear reducer and projects steps, starting with the initial problem conditions (to lifting a load up to an specific height at a given time) following all the reducer project sequence, starting by the preliminary draft and electric motor selection using iterative process, material selection, worm gear dimensioning, axles, keyways, bearings and coupling. After that was performed the three dimensional modeling of the components using SolidWorks software and simulating these components using Ansys software. The results show the importance of the CAD in terms of improving project development speed and reducing costs with prototypes

Análise comparativa entre a produção de biogás em aterro controlado e variações no potencial elétrico natural por meio de perfilagem geofísica

This work aims to analyze data from a Natural Electric Potential landfill type ditch located in Cordeirópolis (SP). The procedure measures initially involved the assembly and installation of an apparatus cables, sensors and drain geophysical measurements and flow rate of biogas in a ditch later filled by solid waste. Biogas is a product of degradation of organic matter in waste by the action of microorganisms in an anaerobic environment. Its features high methane content in the gas potentially usable as fuel in energy generation systems or steam. The study area is characterized by clayey soil composition change from the diabase sill correlated to the event Serra Geral Formation siltstones overlapping Tatuí with groundwater level site around 50m. The cables were installed vertically in parallel with drain gas manifold, which allowed the collection of data by the technique geophysical logging every 15 days over a period of eight months. For data analysis we used four parameters in the study, the closing time of the ditch, natural electric potential, the flow velocity of biogas and rain. With the tabulated data plots were constructed for each collection day showing values in the range of the cable is in contact with waste (200 cm - 400 cm) and range of the cable in contact with the soil (600 cm - 800 cm). Subsequently graphs were generated with the period of eight months to analyze the data tabulated. A statistical correlation data, which show the influence of rainfall on the production of biogas. The results were satisfactory and demonstrated the feasibility of the research method in studies for the feasibility analysis for the capture of biogas energy

Ampliação da capacidade da portaria de cargas de uma indústria através da implantação de um sistema de pesagem por eixo

Through a detailed study of each component, the structural part and various technologies for highway weighing scales, a project was developed in order to implement a modern system of axle weighing in a company pursuing to expand its cargo door capacity, which was restricted to weighing and inspection of the maximum load of each vehicle, and especially to extinguish the number of notifications that the company has been suffering, by having their transportation logistics vehicles caught traveling with poorly distributed load per axle, what it caused damage to roads and vehicles and denigrated the company image in terms of marketing. To achieve these results, the project went through a study of all relevant national legislation, seeking to put the company always in agreement. Moreover, it had investments and its physical space available for its implementation. The payback of such investments would be about less than three years
