Dificuldades de aprendizagem no contexto escolar: perspectivas para sua compreensão e superação

Inside my participation in the Teacher Education for the Educational Service of Students with Learning Disabilities extension project, which serves elementary school students which are presented by the school as students with learning desabilities in reading and writing, and in view of the large amount of material already published in relation of this issue it is necessary theoretical depth to better understand these entitled desabilities. Considering as how they are perceived and diagnosed by the school team, worked in the context of the classroom, understood by the parents and how these difficulties intefere in the lives of these students. It is known that due to these difficulties many students end up producing a feeling of school failure, a fact that leads, in many cases, to the dropout of these students. Given the need to discuss such pressing issues I present as the goal of this paper: characterize what learning to write and reading difficulties really are and speculate what are the possibilities of educational interventions within the school context to motivate and assist in overcoming the students‟ learning difficulties. Ansiedade e pensamentos automáticos em atletas de basquetebol

Segundo a Confederação Brasileira de Basquetebol (CBB), o basquete é um esporte popular, praticado em todo o mundo por mais de 300 milhões de pessoas. Manoel Tubino (2001, p. 57), aponta é um fenômeno social que atingiu níveis muito complexos de desenvolvimento nas diversas sociedades. Sobre o jovem atleta Cratty (1984) destaca que este acaba vivenciando situações em que seu rendimento, tanto sendo um sucesso como um fracasso se torne visível perante a sociedade, deixando que os sentimentos emocionais e psíquicos se aflorem junto com os fisiológicos influenciando no desempenho. Entre os vários fatores intra e extra quadra que podem influenciar no resultado, estão os aspectos psicológicos e os pensamentos automáticos. Para Cecarelli (2011) um dos fatores que mais afetam os atletas é a ansiedade e está diretamente ligado, a importância da competição e de cada jogo, distância de casa, viagem, mudança de hábitos, adaptação ao clima e fuso horário, entre outros aspectos que provocam possível processamento errôneo do pensamento automático e um aumento da ansiedade. Desta maneira torna-se imprescindível destacar que os aspectos fisiológicos e psicológicos de jovens atletas não se encontram eficientemente maduros para lidar com cobranças e pressões advindas do meio esportivo, cabendo aos sujeitos envolvidos na prática do basquetebol (técnicos, diretores, pais, patrocinadores, psicólogo do esporte e atletas) fazer uso da psicologia do esporte a fim de objetivar-se um bom rendimento. O objetivo deste estudo foi compreender como se dá a relação entre os pensamentos automáticos e a ansiedade. Sentidos de escola e de educação construídos por jovens em cumprimento de medida socioeducativa

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo investigar os sentidos de educação e de escola construídos por jovens/adolescentes que cumprem medida socioeducativa e/ou encontram-se em situação de vulnerabilidade social, evadidos ou não do sistema escolar. Nossa intenção com a pesquisa foi ouvir os jovens/adolescentes para saber quais são os sentidos construídos ao longo da vida escolar sobre educação, sobre a formação recebida na escola e suas relações cotidianas no interior da instituição escolar. Para alcançarmos tais resultados, foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa, empírica, utilizandose como instrumento de coleta de dados a entrevista semi-estruturada. De forma geral, com esse trabalho pretendeu-se apresentar uma reflexão sobre os significados do processo de escolarização desses jovens/adolescentes, buscando, assim, contribuir com um conhecimento mais aprofundado, que possa subsidiar a prática com esses sujeitos, no que refere a pensar em um modelo de educação mais significativo, e adequado a esses jovens, que afirmam gostar da escola, pelo seu potencial socializador

A vergonha na escola: uma análise fenomenológica dos discursos dos alunos

It is common to feel shame in any age. This research reveals the meaning of the shame to children from a municipal school of Valinhos city (São Paulo – Brasil). The point of view of some authors who treat the subject was considered and the shame was analyzed in the student‟s experience of life The method employed was the Qualitative Reserach of the Situated Phenomenon, throug the analyses taken from each pupil and, subsequently, from the general characteristics of the speechs. The shame is every associated to the failure, to the act of err by incompetence or desobedience. Just like the authors studied show, the shame has the feeling and the thinking toghether in the children: the racional and the emotional. The shame could be considered like a circuit: the failure lead to insecurity, fear and shame. Shame is a component of the learning and sometimes can be a limit to it. Children reveals how and when they fell shame. Some authors advise that the selfconfidence and the belief in being able to do the proposed task reduces the chances of the error and, consequently, to the shame.

Criança não é manga, não amadurece: conceito de maturação na teoria histórico-cultural

The idea of "mature development" is based, frequently, on explanations of school failure: the student does not learn because he is immature and the school has to wait until he gets "mature". When one says that a child is not mature compared to the development already attained by an adult, one focuses only the quantitative differences between them and forgets that these new qualities of the adult did not arise by the maturation, but by the permanent appropriation process of the human culture. Thus, this idea of "maturity of development" expresses a deep biologization of the human being, reducing social and educational problems explanation to the biological apparatus of the individual. The purpose of this essay is to analyze the relationship between maturation and development, pointing out the limits of biologists’ explanations of human phenomena and the possibilities of explanation formulated by the historical-cultural theory to the organization of pedagogical work. This concept gives a new configuration to the role of maturation in the learning process and gives the school education a central role in the development of higher psychological functions. Thus, the school does not have to wait for the child’s maturation. Rather, it is its duty to create conditions for his/her maturation to become effective.

Queixa escolar: uma nova proposta de avaliação

Ao iniciarmos nossa atuação numa Secretaria de Educação nos Setores de Psicologia e Psicopedagogia notamos que as práticas enfatizavam avaliação e diagnósticos dos alunos para encaminhamentos médico. Para as escolas da rede, o trabalho da equipe multidisciplinar era uma ponte para os serviços de saúde, bem como representavam o acesso a profissionais que poderiam medicar. Neste sentido, este estudo teve como objetivo refletir, a partir da atuação dos membros das equipes escolares e professores, sobre os entraves nos processos de ensino aprendizagem, buscando, especificamente, descentralizar o foco no aluno e promover um olhar mais amplo para as queixas escolares, que possa contemplar as relações que se estabelecem nas instituições. O estudo baseou-se em uma pesquisa-ação e a análise seguiu a abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa. Por meio de nossas intervenções nas escolas percebemos o quanto os diagnósticos médicos são valorizadas pelos profissionais da educação e como estes são utilizados com justificativas para o fracasso escolar.
