Produtividade total dos fatores na agricultura: uma análise da região de Registro

A região de Registro é conhecida pelo baixo grau de desenvolvimento econômico, incluindo o setor agropecuário, o que a difere do restante do estado de São Paulo, não obstante, a região de Registro se destaca pela produção de banana. Neste projeto buscamos efetuar o cálculo da Produtividade Total dos Fatores (PTF), de forma a observar como se comporta a produtividade da agricultura daquela região nos últimos anos. Será feito o levantamento de dados da região para a construção dos indicadores da Produtividade Total dos Fatores (PTF) pelo índice de Törnqvist

Manejo da insuficiência renal aguda em cães e gatos

Acute renal failure (ARF) may be defined as a subtle loss of renal function, leading to accumulation of nitrogenated substances. Several causes may lead to the development of ARF in an animal, including severe shock, intense blood loss, hypotension, dehydration, hypovolemia, deep anesthesia and nephrotoxins. Fluid therapy remains the basis of ARF treatment in animals. Thee therapeutic objective is to normalize fluid balance, solve hemodynamic problems and promote urine production. The objective of the present study is to review the procedures to manage acute renal failure in dogs and cats.

Desenvolvimento micelial de Lentinula edodes em meios de cultivo à base de diferentes substratos orgânicos

The radial mycelial growth of Lentinula edodes (Berk.) Pegler, strain LE-96/13, was studied in culture media prepared with organic residues extract, by using substrates prepared with pineapple (Ananas comosus (L.) Merril) crown, Astrocaryum aculeatum Meyer peel, Theobroma grandiflorum Schum shell, Musa sp. (genomic group AAB, subgroup Pacovan) peel, and Musa sp. (genomic group AAB, subgroup Prata) peel, with three supplementation levels with wheat bran (0, 10 and 20%), and incubated at 25ºC. The experimental design was totally randomized, in a 5×3 factorial scheme, adding up 15 treatments with 4 repetitions, and each repetition corresponding to a Petri dish. The diameter of the colony was evaluated daily during nine days of incubation. After that period, it was verified that the highest mycelial growth averages of strain LE-96/13 of L. edodes were found in culture media prepared with T. grandiflorum Schum shell (whose supplementation with wheat bran was favorable for Mushroom development) and A. aculeatum Meyer peel (whose supplementation did not favor the mycelial growth of L. edodes in relation to the medium not supplemented).
