The service area is in full development in the world, and it is proven the benefits of outsourcing services to large companies, which deliver services and manufacturing experts can focus only on production of their products. In the case of cargo handling is no different, many factories hire specialized companies to reduce fixed costs and factory overhead. And with the intense competition in the market, service providers are increasingly seeking to reduce costs in order to offer services at competitive prices. So if we see a growing need to train its employees to perform services faster and with better quality. In this work, will be a handbook of technical procedures for preventive maintenance, as well as a catalog of parts required to perform the same for Toyota 8 Series forklifts. Will be developed also tools to control and carry out the preventive maintenance of these trucks, such as Check-list and a manual of tools needed for each procedure. The results show that service quality has improved considerably and the cost of wrong parts decreases more than 15%

Subsídios para implantação de trincheiras de infiltração na área urbana de Rio Claro/SP

The purpose of this work is to study the theme “infiltration trenches” in some of its main aspects, such as sizing methods and parameters related to this, in order to subsidize the installation of these structures in the urban area of Rio Claro/SP. For purposes of sizing, the “rain-envelope method” was used for its simplicity and direct application from the local characterization data and the IDF (intensity-duration-frequency) curve data. The method bases on the determination of the tributary volume of input and output device. The curve of values accumulated over time of the volumes tributaries to the device, which is built on the flow rates obtained from the local IDF curve, is compared with the value curve of his effluent volumes determined from the flow characteristics obtained from the infiltration soil. The maximum difference between the curves is the volume sizing. Five locations were chosen in the urban area of Rio Claro for implementation of these devices, considering the soil type, hydraulic conductivity of each area and lot size according to the Master Plan of Rio Claro. This work also presented an estimated reduction of the runoff in urban lots by using infiltration trenches.

This graduation work presents the implementation of the key concepts of lean thinking in a maintenance workshop of rotating equipment, analyzing all the administrative and workshop processes. The pursuit of quality and client satisfaction at lower costs has generated a lot of competition between organizations, which use the practices of lean manufacturing as tools for processes improvement, aiming to eliminate wastes, being this, the work objective. And, unlike a manufacturing system, where the product goes through certain stages until its conclusion, the workshop does not have a default sequence that is repeated routinely on all machines. Thus, it demonstrates a possibility of application of lean tools in a different way of the common used in the lean manufacturing

Concepção e Implementação de um Sistema de Controle de Arborização Urbana através da Integração de Softwares Livres e de Código Aberto

Suitable computacional tools allow to build applications that can link information to its physical location, and represent them into visual and interactive schemes, e ectively reaching the power of visual comunication. This leads the user to synthesize information in a simple and e cient way. These applications are linked to the de nition of Geographic Information System (GIS). GIS are comprised by many concepts and tools, which have the main purpose of collecting, storing, viewing and processing spatial data, obtaining the information needed for decision making. Within this context, this paper presents the Conception and Implementation of a Control System for Urban Forestry through Integration of Free and Open Source Software. This conception arose from the need of an Environmental Project developed by the Agriculture's House of the city of Regente Feij o, which has as main objectives cataloging and management of urban a orestation of the municipality. Due to this diversity of concepts, the challenge in building this system is the integration of platforms that are involved in all stages: collecting and storage of data, including maps and other spatial information, operations on the stored information, obtaining results and graphical visualization of the same. After implementation, it was possible to provide for the system users an improvement in the capacity of perception in the information analysis and facilitate the process of decision making

Arquitetura da infraestrutura urbana: o terminal de integração

Um dos maiores problemas relacionados ao quotidiano das médias e grandes cidades é o trânsito e por meio dele percebemos os conflitos de circulação urbana e se os meios de transportes fluem de forma satisfatória. Segundo Vasconcellos (1999), transporte público é um conjunto de elementos físicos que se distribui espacialmente, atendendo a população que dele depende. Localizada no oeste do Estado de São Paulo a cidade de Presidente Prudente enfrenta, hoje, um grave problema no tocante à circulação e à eficiência dos meios de transportes públicos, sendo esse oneroso para a população que o usufrui. Em termos proporcionais a tarifa por quilômetro rodado é muito elevada, em comparação às grandes cidades do Estado de São Paulo e do Brasil. Sendo o transporte público parte essencial de uma cidade, o seu funcionamento deve estar de acordo com o crescimento da mesma e atender qualitativamente e quantitativamente seus usuários, propondo um adequado uso do espaço urbano. Diante de tal realidade, o projeto tem, por objetivo, fomentar a proposta de implantação de terminal urbano de transporte público, baseado no redesenho viário da principal centralidade da cidade... The objective of this work is to perform a study applying the methodology of Reliability Centered Maintenance - MCC to a group of cranes belonging to Amsted -Maxion in Cruzeiro - SP. The work consists of a presentation of maintenance, the reasons why more and more people worry about maintenance, making a presentation on the types of maintenance, its peculiar characteristics and then do a study where you identified the functionality required by the equipment under study, identified failure modes and their probable causes, and then detail the effects and consequences of these failures. With that evaluate the criticality of these failures and identify the most significant consequences that affect safety, availability or cost of equipment operation and allow a selection of the most appropriate tasks for the identified failure modes. We will also present best crane equipment, its main components, verify that there was or not improvement in the machine after the application of MCC and make a current analysis of maintenance in Amsted -Maxion

Elementos de manutenção de transformadores de potência

The intended purpose of this paper is to present the main commissioning tests for power transformers and the most used techniques in industrial segment, it is also discussed your results and consequences in the equipment’s normal operation. Also in this text, it is given specific information concerning a maintenance plan compatible to power transformers, with elements of preventive and predictive maintenance, exposing essential components, tests and the regulations current, showing how analyze and interpreted the results from this maintenance resources. Also in this paper is submitted the economic impact of damage to transformers and how the correct maintenance method can minimize them. The objective of this text is demonstrate the importance of the equipment and the benefits of proper maintenance, much of in financial terms as in electric system reliability
