O papel dos eventos em movimentos sociais e sua importância como estratégia de comunicação sob a ótica das Relações Públicas é o tema principal desenvolvido nesse livro. Elaine Cristina Gomes de Moraes toma como base para sua análise a 5ª. Parada da Diversidade de Bauru, cidade do interior paulista, evento realizado em agosto de 2012 pela Associação da Diversidade de Bauru (ABD) e composto majoritariamente pelo movimento homossexual, mas também por outras minorias. Eventos têm papel fundamental no movimento homossexual e expressam seus ideais, reivindicações e identidade, na medida em que aglutinam publicamente pessoas com objetivos comuns. Ao mesmo tempo, tornam-se importantes meios de expressão do movimento por conta da repercussão proporcionada pelos meios de comunicação. Dessa forma, a autora propõe analisar os eventos como ações de comunicação, já que essas atividades são planejadas para a construção de uma imagem. E, também, constituídas como estratégica de comunicação, cujos objetivos são o avanço social e a proposta de transformação da realidade, na medida em que promovem a visibilidade e a legitimidade às lutas do movimento social. A autora destaca que o movimento homossexual começou suas articulações com a organização do primeiro grupo na década de 1970. Desde então diversos outros grupos, como os de lésbicas, transexuais e travestis se formaram, mudando a trajetória inicial. Às lutas que reivindicavam igualdade de direitos, somaram-se outras, como as que protestavam contra a violência aos homossexuais. Também nascem desse caldo as famosas paradas do Orgulho Gay. Com o estudo de caso da Parada da Diversidade de Bauru, a segunda maior do estado de São Paulo, a autora analisa entre outras questões, o modo como o movimento homossexual da cidade utiliza eventos nas suas estratégias de luta, como organiza a parada e a repercussão do evento na mídia. Introduction: Innovation and its processes, especially in the field of technology, are a focus of Information Science as a science of Human, as they determine the establishment of new habits, relevant socio-cultural indicators to understanding the history of cultures. Objective: This article reflects on the problematic: whether and how Information and Communication Technologies have impacted the lives of digital natives, whether the average individual is prepared to conscientiously experience the technological environment, how the current system can prepare future generations of professionals, and how the adults who grew up in the twentieth century, in an analogue society can prepare young people for a twenty-first century digital reality, widely different from theirs. Methodology: This paper was based on Literature Review. Results: As the sophistication of technology advances, society has to continually review the way it appropriates information to adjust to these changes. Conclusions: As for relevance of the methodologies that lead to innovative disruptive actions in hybrid realities such as the Brazilian one, with niches of poverty and prosperity, it is believed that it is in poor countries or countries with significant social differences such as Brazil where the need for a change of socio technocultural paradigm and innovative action urge to take place.

Besides storing, the culture and science institutions in charge of the of Brazilian writers’ personal archives play such an important role on the organization and representation of the country’s literary information. In general, the target public for these collections is composed by researchers from the field of Literature once the documents produced by the writers throughout his/her life and career constitute primary research source for the artistic, historical and literary investigation. However, it is still convenient to stand out those users with no academic instruction, whose interest in such collections is justified by their looking up to the individual. In this sense, literary memory places, such as the Brazilian Literature Archive Museum – AMLB (RJ) -, the Brazilian Literature Academy – ABL – (RJ) and the Brazilian Studies Institute – IEB – (SP) turn out to be responsible for offering access to the literary archives and literary information. Thus, it is necessary to consider that databases demonstrate themselves as utter disseminators of the preservation and diffusion of the literary memory, coming up with several possibilities for cultural and scientific action in Literature. This study focuses on showing the contributions of databases towards the literary archives, the challenges and perspectives observed according to the mentioned institutions’ reality, in whose missions the discourse of the literary memory preservation is inserted.

The Rouanet law is a tax incentive law that allows companies to invest up to 4% of their taxes - based on actual profit - in sponsoring cultural projects previously approved by the Ministry of Culture. By sponsoring these projects, companies can have their name attached to them and, consequently, strengthening their brand and increase its visibility in the market. Whereas this project is aligned to the company vision, its image will be strengthened and the sales will increase. Large companies use the Rouanet Law to sponsor cultural events and have very strong names in the Brazilian market, perhaps worldwide. Examples: Petrobras, Banco do Brasil, Banco Bradesco, BNDES, Usiminas, Vale, among others. The Public Relations professional, who’s responsible for internal and external communication of a company, can use it as a differential of his work, expanding the company's profits with minimum investments, aligning the company's vision to actual practices and using the sponsorship as an agent capable of strengthen its social responsibility and, due to that, to increase the trust of its target audience. This study will address the theoretical and practical aspects of the Rouanet Law and of the public relations professionals, beyond mentioning examples on the subject, with special attention to Petrobras, the largest sponsor of cultural projects in Brazil. The greatest problem of the Rouanet Law is the fact that its sponsored projects are mostly concentrated in the Southeast, specifically in the Rio - São Paulo region. The more popular the Act become, for most places it will spread and Brazil may, after some time, become a world reference in the Cultural point

O presente trabalho final de graduação destina-se a elaboração de um projeto de um Centro Cultural e de Lazer na cidade de Mirassol, interior do estado de São Paulo, localizado na área ao redor da edificação da Estação Ferroviária. Foi feita a restauração do edifício da Estação Ferroviária para a instalação do setor administrativo do Centro Cultural e de Lazer de Mirassol (CCLM) em parte da edificação, e na outra parte, a transferência do Acessa São Paulo (programa destinado ao acesso de internet gratuita). Uma nova edificação, chamada de Café Cultural, foi projetada para abrigar salas de dança e artes marciais, vestiários, camarim, auditório, salas multifuncionais e a Biblioteca Municipal. Ao lado da Estação Ferroviária foi proposto um estacionamento para atender a demanda dos usuários do CCLM, e ao redor dessas edificações foi feita uma praça abrigando equipamentos de ginástica para terceira idade (ATI – Academia para Terceira Idade) e espaço lúdico, além de quadras poliesportivas, pista de skate, ciclofaixa, faixa para caminhada/cooper, e um espaço com locomotiva e vagões, destinado ao lazer, e uma sorveteria, uma floricultura e um espaço para leitura nos vagões

The Physical education has as objective the students integration in the body movement culture, forming citizens to reframe different cultural aspects of the physical activity, enabling a more critical look. Currently selecting how the body movement culture has been widely approached by Mass Media it is detected a new pedagogical possibility. The several media equipment massively bomb (images, sounds and information) interfering on how the students interpret the reality, since they are exposed to these multiple information and at the same time are absent of a more critical look about what they receive. In this way, the objective of this work was to perform a research in the news/articles from the Jornal A Folha de São Paulo, that allows the development of classes based on the elements of body movement culture and apply them in a public school from Rio Claro-SP city, to detect possibilities and difficulties in the work with the media in the school environment. It employed a qualitative research. The data obtained in this study indicate that the media shows up as a good teaching tool for teaching physical education classes, since students found the classes to enriching the learning process, highlighting topics such as innovation and the closeness they had with the worked information. However, it is necessary to develop further studies to raise other possibilities as well as alternatives to deal with this new reality of the school context

This experimental project focused on a specialization in journalism that is becoming increa-singly present in the media: the gastronomic journalism. The aim was to understand the speci-ficities of segmentation in the news and editorial spreads profile area for deepening the dining experience in contemporary society, considering the contribution of information to maintain proper eating habits and cultural enrichment of the reader. The research involved a literature review and survey of the history of gastronomy and cultural aspects, analysis and reporting framework for the months of August and September 2010 the Food section of the newspaper Folha de S. Paul, Taste of the book, the newspaper O Estado de S. Paul and the Menu maga-zine segment, Publisher of Three in order to identify the presence of aspects related to culture, history, health and nutrition

The work aims at an architectural project in the neighborhood of Liberdade in Sao Paulo, from analysis of the spread of Japanese culture in Brazil. Within this theme, the paper focuses on the Japanese urban space and the search for an identity of the Japanese, besides the problems that the neighborhood has. The architectural design is justified by the need for spaces of rest, meetings and green areas, where people can get away a bit of pace that the neighborhood has. The source of this research is based on bibliographic references, reviews of other projects, investigating the experience of urban space and the richest source of contributions that were the memories of living in Japan for eight months. The expected result is the visualization of the project through sketches, experiments and artistic designs for the chosen location
