The aim of this paper is to show some aspects of the aesthetic of Jules Laforgue, French symbolistic poet, who used verbal creations such as neologisms, archaism, foreignism revealing how creative and modern he was in his period.

Magazines such as O Cruzeiro are part of the Brazilian collection. In its pages, the female presence is constant. From the concepts of Greimas’ way of life and happening and routine from Zilberberg, we analyse a photoreport which highlights the actress Ilka Soares, comparing her to texts of the session “To the woman”. The analysis of such texts lets us verify the behaviour of a distinguished professional which is different from the traditional model of the housewife of the fifties. Reconstitute the ways of life of these women is to make up for the memory of the country

We briefl y present here a dramatic work of the French Symbolist poet Jules Laforgue – Le Concile Féerique. During the analysis, we see collages of Fleurs de bonne volonté poems, conceived in a dialogued and original way, showing us, mostly, in the work of the French poet, the modernity and the persistence of poetry.

After two decades advertising and defending the synthetic method, João Köpke became active disseminator of analytical method for teaching reading. In five te xts published between 1896 and 1917, produced in different circumstance s for different publics readers, Köpke seeks the support of American and European authors, for their principles as well as for the education experience, to his analytical method. as by theirs principles as by theirs educational experiences. Among those authors: J. Jacotot, A. Bain, A. Meiklejohn, J. Froebel, C. Parker, G. Stanley Hall and J. Chubb. In this article, attention is given to repeated American references with special emphasis on the psychology of Stanley Hall and the method of teaching reading of Meiklejohn, highlighted and placed on convergence by Köpke in his final writings.

Social theory is challenged to understand the density and complexity of social phenomena that arise from globalization. It is extremely important that social theory seeks to understand the meaning of war as a means of solving political conflicts and the flow of immigrants to major economic powers, which afflicts mankind. The aim of this paper is to understand the meaning of the social changes that alter and transform the society and the forms of community, having as object Italy and the immigration policy developed since the nineties.
