The specialized teachers' training to work in multifunctional resource classrooms still has to reach a satisfactory level. These teachers are expected to keep a set of resources and devices used to teach a wide range of students with different disabilities. That fact leads to reflection by the academic community. Thus what specific content should such training address? This paper aims to analyze the set of resources and equipment in a classroom and infer the teaching knowledge underlying their use. The analysis was conducted by classifying 63 resources and equipment items, which led to three categories: 1) set of materials that do not require academic knowledge; 2) set of materials that require academic knowledge related to any training course for teachers; 3) set of materials that require specific academic knowledge on working with students with disabilities. It concluded that around 36% of the resources do not require academic knowledge to be used; 35% of these resources and equipment require some academic knowledge to be properly handled, and around 29% of these resources and equipment require specific academic knowledge of their content. For instance, a specific training of those resources is necessary for acting with students with severe communication disorders, multiple disabilities and visual impairment or deafness.

Studies about Assistive Technology have emphasized the need to integrate resources, services and strategies for inclusion and special education to foster the learning process and skill development of students with disabilities. The literature describes that the first step towards implementing assistive technology in schools should enable professionals to understand the situation involving the student in order to expand his or her participation in the teaching and learning process. This study aimed to identify the need for assistive technology services, resources and strategies for students with cerebral palsy in school. Two children with cerebral palsy and their teachers were selected. The data collection phase included three successive procedures: interviews with teachers, completing the identification protocol of the school routine and participant observation conducted in the classroom using filming and field diary. Based on the material gained from these three procedures, data triangulation was proposed, i.e., grouping information in a single document in order to establish categories of analysis. After preparing the material, the categories were assessed by judges from the field of knowledge. The results showed that after understanding the situation of the disabled student within the school context, it was possible to establish his or her skills and needs to indicate the appropriate assistive technology resources for the teacher's planning and thus provide proper teaching and learning for the children with disabilities. The study identified the need to establish specific procedures, an organized pedagogical plan and participation of health professionals as consultants on using assistive technology in school.

O advento de uma nova ordem global mediada pelas tecnologias de informação e comunicação pode parecer, a um observador desatento, algo bom ou, no mínimo, neutro. No entanto, os valores decorrentes deste modelo organizacional estão intimamente ligados a interesses políticos, econômicos e ideológicos. Entender a complexidade dessa nova dinâmica em nossas vidas, sem cair nos extremismos da questão, é o desafio a que nos propomos. Para tanto, discutiremos no primeiro a relação entre tecnologia e sociedade desde o advento do alfabeto ocidental. No segundo capítulo apresentaremos os fundamentos da análise do discurso de linha francesa e, no terceiro capítulo, analisaremos os cadernos de informática do mês de agosto de dois grandes jornais impressos brasileiros – Folha e Estado de São Paulo - à luz das teorias da análise do discurso, buscando entender como a construção simbólica de nosso atual contexto se manifesta na forma discursiva do jornalismo

This work aims to reflect on organizational communication and integrated communication, focusing on the performance of professional Public Relations and Marketing. As a case of study, we evaluated the communication in the BOM DIA journal, especially with regard to the implementation of the Project 50k, dedicated to reviving the journal, with shares of advertising, editorial and structural as well as marketing and sales. The goal is to evaluate the reality of a company, which represents an integrated communication, in which all professionals in various areas and departments within the organization are able to develop a more concise and to seek a common goal, working and developing its workforce which reflects his image and therefore in your external audience

This study presents the results from a qualitative resource, based on research-action methodology, which examined the innovate teaching practices implementations in the Calculus I during 2011 year. The analysis of collected data from three used sources – an initial questionnaire, an exploratory-investigative classroom, and an interview with some students at the end of the second semester – reveals that the students had appropriated of the technological recourses, using it as a tool to look for the knowledge. The investigative activities with the use of information technologies made the use of multiple representations in solving mathematical tasks, making the transition of numerical, algebraic and geometrical results possible for the students when they have looking for validation of their hypotheses and conjectures during mathematical problems solving. This works helped in the insertion of new practices in the discipline, and their results validate the proposal presented by the teacher, which is the discipline of Calculus use, whose character is strongly linked to the training content of the student, as a discipline whose can contributed to the pedagogical formation of the graduation student, leading him to know the Mathematical Education possibilities, specially the Mathematical Investigation - Solving Problems, in the outlook of dialogued classes where the teacher assumes the facilitator role and where the students become actives in their pursuit of knowledge

Este Projeto Final de Graduação se destina a adequar e a incrementar, através do desenvolvimento de um projeto arquitetônico, a escola de futebol conhecida como Centro de Treinamento Baroninho (CTB), localizada no Jardim Europa, zona Sul da cidade de Bauru, Estado de São Paulo. O programa da escola contempla tanto instalações necessárias a atividade esportiva quanto atividades voltadas à comunidade. Uma praça fecha o conjunto complementando as necessidades de lazer. A região apresenta claras desigualdades sociais, averiguadas em uma simples visita ao local, e o futebol é utilizado como elemento de socialização, de quebra de preconceitos e diferenças

The discovering process of new morbid genes and new target proteins for drugs have been shown to be very costly and laborious. Having in view cutting costs and speeding up this process, we propose, in this work, a new method to determine the gene druggability score and morbidity score, the probabilities of the protein encoded by the gene have the characteristics that make it a new target for drugs and in case of an alteration in that gene, we observed a phenotype that characterizes a genetic based illness. To determine these characteristics, we built, analyzed and determined the characteristics of the topology of the integrated molecular interactions network among human genes containing physical interactions between proteins, metabolic interactions and interactions of transcriptional regulation, and included other data such as level of gene transcription and cellular localization of the protein encoded by the gene. We tested our model in training sets and achieved results equal or better than the ones achieved by similar methods in the literature. Finally, with the purpose of investigating whether the assigned scores resembles the potential druggabilities and morbities of the previously unclassi ed genes, we looked for evidences in biomedical literature supporting the potential druggability and morbidity status of genes with the 10 highest scores. We found clear evidences for 73% and 90% of potential druggable and morbid genes respectively

Atualmente vivemos na era da informação, da comunicação e das tecnologias, que mantém a sociedade em constante transformação, principalmente na educação e nos comportamentos das pessoas, influenciando direta ou indiretamente na construção da identidade pessoal ou coletiva. Pensando que a educação ocorre tanto na família, como na escola, é possível observar com mais clareza a influência destes elementos através da forma com que as crianças passam a se comportar em diversos ambientes. A mídia é cada vez mais parte integrada do nosso cotidiano, incluindo-se também o ambiente escolar, participando da vida dos alunos (BETTI, 2003). Para compreender a relação aluno-escola seguimos a perspectiva de Perrenoud (1995), pensando que a escola representa um lugar de muitas socializações, e que o desenvolvimento da identidade de aluno se desenvolve também nesse contexto, podemos questionar qual seria o papel da mídia? Esta tem influenciado? Em que? Para Identidade consideramos a perspectiva de Dubar (1995), que a considera como um processo em constante construção, sendo que existem meios específicos que contribuem para o desenvolvimento identitário, tanto a identidade biográfica como a relacional. Estabelecendo uma relação entre mídia e identidade, o presente estudo propôs-se a pesquisar a influência da mídia na construção da identidade de aluno, tomando como base as aulas de educação física, momento em que os estudantes tem maior possibilidade de expressão corporal. Como objetivo geral buscou-se compreender como os escolares constroem sua identidade de aluno a partir da influência da mídia na Educação Física. Especificamente: I. Identificar quais são os fatores midiáticos que influenciam na constituição da identidade de aluno; II. Analisar quais são os aspectos que compõe a identidade de aluno. O tema foi escolhido em função da sua relevância global, atualidade e importância para a população brasileira. A valorização de resíduos sólidos tem sido um tema central das políticas ambientais desde a década de 1970. Desde então, os resíduos são vistos não só como parte da problemática ambiental, mas também como um recurso produtivo e uma fonte de energia. A pesquisa proposta neste estudo tem o objetivo de analisar os benefícios da valorização energética de resíduos sólidos urbanos para a sociedade, e analisar as possíveis dificuldades que se colocam diante desta alternativa energética

Wireless communications is a feature that has become indispensable for many people in the whole world. Through this feature, communication process can become much more efficient, allowing people to access information much more quickly wherever they are. The constant evolution of communication technologies allows the development of new unthinkable applications and services. This new range of possibilities brings greater mobility and efficiency for final users and also helps service providers and carriers to improve the quality of services offered by them. Modern society is characterized by being in evolution finds, technology strides and every day becomes the setting in which we live. At school, however, we found no features of these changes, the years pass and the methodological tools remain unchanged. In this paper we analyze an object produced by the Learning Network Interactive Virtual Education - RIVED to discuss whether it covers the content and answers to the questions proposed by the National Curricular and Curricular Proposal of the State of Sao Paulo, and may be inserted in the educational environment, both to perform a qualitative analysis, focusing on information retrieval. The results showed that the Learning Objects: Abundance, has most of the proposals relating to the subject of study, prepared by the NCP and the Proposed Structure for the State of Sao Paulo, so it is valid for teachers to use this tool trying that with a new approach, we can give students a better understanding of chemical concepts

The problem of solid waste has caused discussions about the huge amount that is generated in Brazilian cities, in particular the waste from construction and demolition (CDW), called spoil. In many cases these wastes are disposed of improperly and even criminally in urban areas, causing serious economic, social and environmental problems. Due to the lack of public policies and appropriate management of such waste came up with the CONAMA, in its resolution nº 307 of 2002, the obligation of municipalities in deploy the integrated management of construction and demolition wastes for the resolution of problems caused by inadequate management and disposal of such waste. By following a methodology suggested by Pinto & González (2005), with adaptations of other authors, it is proposed in this work the lifting of a diagnosis of the CDW in the municipality of Guaratinguetá-SP, through theoretical analysis and field research, with purpose to guide the public servants in the elaboration and implementation of integrated management. This article consists in a discourse analysis of the feature film in animation Wall.e produced by Pixar in association to Disney in 2008. Pixar has been known to produce films that contain various discursive levels, making its products appealing not only for children, but also for adults. However, Wall-e proves to be a masterpiece in Pixar carrier, because it is the one which focuses on the analysis and critique of contemporary society associated with technological development. For this, the plot has as its starting point the question of sustainability and unbridled consumerism. But the film expands the debate, tracing the relationship between technology and humanity, discussing how one affects the other. The project therefore aims to show how the animation works such concepts and constructs his discourse. To this end, the work seeks to identify the signs that make up the discourse and draw the intertextuality between WALL.E and other works that also discuss the same elements such as Stanley Kubrick‟s 2001 - A Space Odyssey (1968)

Due to the need of more agility, dynamism and reliability in stock management, the market has turned its attention to RFID, which offers a practical solution and live up to the big corporations' expectations. The search for continuous improvement establishes a direct link with RFID, for its technology offers accurate real time information in any monitored given place. RFID is a radio frequency communication technology. A reader communicates to a tag through waves. This tag can be active, with a battery, or passive, in which its power is supplied by currents induced by the field variation it is exposed to. The RFID technology has a well defined basic principle, but there are many constructive ways of implementing it. The adaptability as well as the flexibility regard to the several kinds of stock in industry, reaching their particular needs. RFID can lower maintenance costs in stock by collecting data more accurately, lowering human error and optimizing the item handling at its reception, exit and while it is inside the company. This paper presents an example of RFID technology applied in a company's stock management. It is possible to prove that there are, in fact, great advantages in implementing this technology, as it creates the opportunity for continuous improvement in stock management, with better application of material, labour and quality tools, since the data collected through an automatized process using RFID are more reliable and dynamic
