Tecnologia e poder: uma análise dos cadernos de informática dos jornais Folha e Estado de São Paulo

O advento de uma nova ordem global mediada pelas tecnologias de informação e comunicação pode parecer, a um observador desatento, algo bom ou, no mínimo, neutro. No entanto, os valores decorrentes deste modelo organizacional estão intimamente ligados a interesses políticos, econômicos e ideológicos. Entender a complexidade dessa nova dinâmica em nossas vidas, sem cair nos extremismos da questão, é o desafio a que nos propomos. Para tanto, discutiremos no primeiro a relação entre tecnologia e sociedade desde o advento do alfabeto ocidental. No segundo capítulo apresentaremos os fundamentos da análise do discurso de linha francesa e, no terceiro capítulo, analisaremos os cadernos de informática do mês de agosto de dois grandes jornais impressos brasileiros – Folha e Estado de São Paulo - à luz das teorias da análise do discurso, buscando entender como a construção simbólica de nosso atual contexto se manifesta na forma discursiva do jornalismo

Planejamento de uma obra em atendimento às exigências da caixa econômica federal

Currently the Brazilian construction market is growing like gangbusters and every day grows its competition. With this Brazilian scenario, the government is supporting the construction companies and offering resources for real estate projects. To acquire resources Caixa Econômica Federal requirements you must meet in planning the work, as the development of budgets, timelines and memorials. This study aimed to planning a work according to the requirements of Caixa Econômica Federal, which was done with the aid of two softwares . First the methods and tools that are used to perform a planning were discussed. Then, based on the theory and observing the requirements of the financing bank budgets, memorials and schedules with the help of software were performed. At the end of the project, it was possible to observe the importance of using theoretical methods and software to facilitate and improve the timelines and budgets made , and thus the planning itself, which every day becomes more common in construction companies, because with the increase of competition and market requirements, is critical to reducing the loss and time, thus maintaining customer satisfaction and company

Also we listen to the math teachers and to the school’s director what they have to say on this trend and what they have made for integrate those technologies in classroom

Proposta para planejamento da arborização viária do bairro do Alvinópolis, município de Atibaia - SP

The urban arborization planning must consider technical criteria, to avoid future conflicts between trees and the urban space, and sociocultural criteria, to satisfy the local population necessities. Considering this principle, the present work proposes an arborization plan for a pilot area enclosing three of the principal streets from Alvinopolis District, county of Atibaia – SP. In order to tackle this objective, requests of tree removal were analyzed to get a panorama of how the subject takes place in the county. After that, promising sites for tree planting were selected in the enclosing area, and urban arborization of the three (3) main streets were retake, proposing necessary substitutions. Finally, 238 residents all over Alvinopolis County have been interviewed, with the objective of appraising their subject sense and focus on environmental education. Then three maps were made: the first one representing characteristics that influence in arborization, the second representing the present arborization and the nine (9) necessary substitutions, and the third representing the plan for the arborization of the pilot area. From the interviewed people, 79% shown themselves favorable to urban arborization, otherwise it does not discard the necessity to inform population about adequate species, county laws and adequate handling of trees.

Zoneamento geoambiental como instrumento de planejamento e gestão de recursos do pólo cerâmico de Santa Gertrudes

The disorded and unnplaned occupation is not recent in out territory but it concerns to a historical territorial invasion that roots the time of our country discovery. However, they have started to cause issues nowadays, as in the case of urban conurbations. Somehow these unorganized urban, industrial and agricultural occupations did not have any sort of information or indication of the appropriate situation at that time. Because of that there has been researches by several groups to induce the users of the several renewable and non renewable resources to explore them according to their natural potential capacity.The Ceramic Pole of Santa Gertrudes, the national largest producer of ceramic tile, faces this problem of disorder occupation. Among other themes, the reorganization of the physical environment, proposed by several groups of researchers and scholars of this subject, is gaining attention now.The method of Geoenvironmental Zoning results in a way of prevention from this issue. Crossing information of the physical environment and generating maps whose areas and subdivisions have similar characteristics, it is possible to manage studies and handle these areas according to their potentiality.

Suscetibilidade geomorfológica e restrições legais ao uso da terra: subsídios para o planejamento territorial

O presente trabalho objetivou oferecer subsídios para o Planejamento Territorial, através da caracterização geomorfológica da Bacia do Ribeirão Piracicamirim, caracterização esta que permitiu reconhecer a morfodinâmica dos ambientes pleiteados à ocupação e/ou já ocupados. Através desta caracterização foi possível conhecer as suscetibilidades geomorfológicas da área e, a partir daí, verificou-se algumas especificações da Legislação Ambiental Brasileira referente a estas áreas. Além das características do relevo, foram analisadas também algumas das regulamentações referentes à conservação da vegetação, para assim, apontar sob a forma de registro cartográfico, os setores onde ocorre legalmente a limitação ao uso e ocupação do solo. A fim de se alcançar os objetivos traçados, foi utilizada a abordagem direta e indireta da bacia hidrográfica do Ribeirão Piracicamirim. A primeira foi realizada através de trabalhos de campo e a segunda foi efetuada através da revisão bibliográfica, cartográfica e da elaboração de documentos cartográficos da área. Como orientação metodológica foi adotada a Teoria Geral dos Sistemas aplicada à ciência geográfica. Os documentos cartográficos produzidos mostraram que alguns setores da presente bacia necessitam de uma melhor atenção quanto às questões ambientais. Tratase de áreas onde o conjunto das características físicas do ambiente, juntamente com o uso e ocupação da terra predominante tem ocasionado intensos processos erosivos em diferentes estágios de evolução. Constatou-se que a retirada da mata original para o cultivo da cana-de-açúcar tem ocasionado grandes problemas erosivos que merecem uma melhor atenção dos órgãos responsáveis pelo Planejamento Territorial da bacia.

Planejamento estratégico em São Paulo: projeto de revitalização central Nova Luz

O presente trabalho analisa criticamente o Projeto de “Requalificação Urbana Nova Luz”, localizado no bairro de Santa Ifigênia em São Paulo, iniciado no ano de 2005 e atualmente em curso. A área abrangida pelo projeto tem aproximadamente 362 mil metros quadrados, é circunscrita pelas ruas Mauá, Av. Cásper Líbero, Av. Ipiranga, Av. São João e Av. Duque de Caxias. Na abordagem inicial colocada pelo projeto emerge o Planejamento Estratégico com um programa cultural e principal motivador de retorno financeiro aos setores imobiliários e de requalificação urbana. Neste cenário, políticas de revitalização são associadas a programas de promoção cultural de museus e monumentos arquitetônicos, recriando uma nova imagem da cidade. Em diversas literaturas a respeito dos programas de revitalização em áreas centrais, é apontado com freqüência - como resultado desses processos - o surgimento do fenômeno de gentrificação, que implica numa substituição dos antigos moradores dessas áreas por outros com maior poder aquisitivo. Essa dinâmica de produção de um espaço revitalizado é geralmente amparada por flexibilizações de Leis e Instrumentos Urbanísticos, bem como financiamentos de agências multilaterais que fixam parâmetros e exigências para liberação dos recursos

Análise paleogeográfica evolutiva da região do Parque Estadual da Ilha do Cardoso (PEIC), litoral sul de São Paulo, como subsídio a ações de planejamento e conservação ambiental

Cardoso Island, settled in the south of paulista region, is characterized by its ecological importance due to the great biodiversity of Mata Atlântica and for accommodating several kinds of ecosystems as mangroves, which were considered by UNESCO as human natural ownership. The mangroves are among the most important marine ecosystems, known as warranty of biological productivity and diversity and supply of food and economical resources to the local population. Although the island has been transformed in a state park for preservation, it hasn’t become free from environmental impacts made by antropical activities. This way it was proposed a rebuilt of an evolutionary process in the region, having as an objective to subsidize programs of environmental conservation and planning , aiming to a sustainable development. For this it was used a isobasis methodological analyses where by the drainage channels and its confluences makes relative maps to the different base levels represented by the isobasis, characterizing itself by an attempt to rebuilt the preterit local landscape. There were elaborated eight maps referring to four orders of confluences met in the region of Cardoso Island and round it where you can conclude it is about an appropriate methodology to rebuilt preterits environments that specially aim to actions of environmental planning and conservation.

Melhoria do planejamento para o fornecimento de materiais de modificações em aeronaves executivas

This paper presents a material demand forecasting to executive aircrafts modifications, the objective was to determinate a cadence of kits of materials in order reduce over stock, but also keeping the customer quality support. This work was motivated by the strong tendency that the market has to cut costs, especially those that do not add value to the product, waste. To solve the problem the Poisson probability distribution was used and also the error measures MPE, MAPE and MSE. At the end, after some adjustments, we found a satisfactory model for the problem

Método de pontos interiores no planejamento ótimo do tratamento de câncer por radioterapia

The Medical Physics has been developing very fast due to the progress of the technologies and to the increase of the concerns with cure of diseases. One of the Medical Physics main performances at the present time is the use of ionizing radiations for cancer treatment, especially, services as Radiotherapy. The radiotherapy technique uses ionizing radiation with therapeutic end of cancer controls, avoiding your proliferation and it worsens of the patient. For the treatment a radiation bunch is used, with rectangular form, that it passes through the different types of tissues of the patient's body, and depending on the attenuation and of the depth of the fabrics, a great amount of energy is deposited inside in different points of the body. Like this, to plan this treatment type it should be obtained the dimension of the distribution and dose absorption along the volume. For this, it is necessary in the planning of the treatment of the cancer for radiotherapy to build isodose curves, which are lines that represent points of same amount of dose to be deposited in the area to be treated. To aid the construction of the curves of form isodose to reach the best result in the planning of the treatment, in other words, a great planning, providing the maximum of dose in the tumor and saving the healthy and critical organs, it has been using mathematical tools and computational. A plan of cancer treatment for radiotherapy is considered great when all the parameters that involve the treatment, be them physical or biological, they were investigated and adapted individually for the patient. For that, is considered the type and the location of the tumor, worrying about the elimination of the cancer without damaging the healthy tissue of the treated area, mainly the risk organs, which are in general very sensitive to the radiations. Um olhar para o Programa Acessa Escola: condições dos laboratórios de informática das escolas públicas de Guaratinguetá

Considering the necessity of implementation of the Information Technologies and Communication (ICT) in the public Brazilian schools, the São Paulo State government hearing the call of the federal government and, with the objective to promote the digital inclusion, created the Programa Acessa Escola. The research that we realized and bring expressed on this text, is about such program and allowed us comprehend how it had been developed in the public state schools of the city of Guaratinguetá. By visiting the schools, we saw the manner that each school make use of his informatics laboratory; how they understand the government Project; how they develop actions of use of the laboratory and, particularly, how they use the informatics laboratory to the teaching and learning of mathematics helping the professor and the students. To make possible to understand this use, was realized interviews with the responsible intern of each one of the 14 (fourteen) schools of Guaratinguetá; with the pedagogical coordinator or director of the school and with the mathematics teacher. By the analysis, realized using a qualitative approach of phenomenological nature, we understand that the intern see himself as an auxiliary of the student and professor in the use of the laboratory. The director or pedagogical coordinator understand that the laboratory is an excellent resource to the school, but still exist the necessity of more resources that allow to attend properly the community; and the mathematics teacher consider important the program in the school as much for the students digital inclusion as for the teaching but they feel not safe to use into his classes, because they consider that there is a lack of capacitation and collaboration to make their activities relevant to the learning. However, shows that for the success of these events is a necessary strategic planning, so that subsequent implementation is possible to measure the results. Coleta de dados, modelagem e controle de qualidade do sistema de planejamento pinnacle3

Qualidade na coleta de dados do feixe de radiação, modelagem por meio do sistema de planejamento de tratamento (SPT) e controle da qualidade do processo envolvido são cruciais à fidedignidade do serviço de radioterapia de forma a contribuir à eficácia do tratamento e segurança do principal ente envolvido no final de toda essa sistemática, o paciente. Para isso foi proposto nesse presente trabalho a coleta de dados do feixe de raios-x de 6MV seguido da introdução desses dados ao SPT para processo de modelagem computacional que teve agregado, a todo esses processos, o controle da qualidade segundo critérios de aceitação

Carta geológico-geotécnica aplicada ao planejamento urbano da região do Córrego Bertini, município de Americana - SP

This paper focuses on the implementation of a geological and geotechnical mapping to the planning of the region stream Bertini, territorial expansion area of the municipality of Americana (SP), a medium-sized city in the countryside of Sao Paulo state, with great potential for growth industrial and residential. To this end, based on the methodology established by the Institute for Technological Research, the charters geological and geotechnical aimed at exposing the capabilities and limitations of the soil. The analysis of similar soil characteristics such as geology, geomorphology, slope, geotechnical testing and the current use and land cover was possible to recognize four geotechinical units. The units I and III are related to areas of top and concave and convex parts of the study area, shown to be sites of low occupancy restriction. However the units II and IV, respectively allocated in the floodplain of the Piracicaba River and the banks of the stream Bertini and some of its drainage, showed a more restricted area due to proximity to water bodies and drainages that offer higher slopes.
