Relações conjugais na literatura de Tostói: análise de duas obras

Existem representações sociais diversas sobre padrões definidores de normalidade que direcionam o erotismo humano, incluindo aí concepções sobre casamento e relacionamento conjugal. A literatura pode ser um modo de evidenciar esses padrões, por isso, este estudo qualitativo, tipo documental, teve por objetivo analisar a temática das relações conjugais em duas obras do autor russo Lev Tolstói: “Felicidade Conjugal” e “A Sonata a Kreutzer”. A partir da análise de conteúdo, os resultados discutem as seguintes categorias: 1) A relação conjugal como sinônimo de posse; 2) O desejo sexual como mercadoria, 3) Enamoramento e Amor e 4) Casamento e Fidelidade e 5) Relacionamento e gênero. Nas duas narrativas as dificuldades nos relacionamentos conjugais são apresentadas de modo a explicitar o enamoramento e o cotidiano tendo como pano de fundo as relações de posse entre as pessoas; a crítica evidente diz respeito ao principio de individuação, que tem como base a propriedade privada, inclusive nos relacionamentos amorosos e sexuais. Conclui-se que a análise dessas obras de Tolstói contribui para refletir sobre como os relacionamentos conjugais se configuram também na atualidade; além disso, ressalta-se que a literatura é um instrumento interessante para problematizar e refletir certos padrões de conduta em sexualidade e que poderia ser usada em propostas intencionais de educação sexual.

Do politicamente correto ao incorretamente polido

The text argues that a linguistic analysis paired with the appreciation of the context of current social stands is highly legitimate, observing, however, that, in different situations, this so-called investigative-appreciative attitude has been transformed in actions and reactions that might become vulgarized in common place, or might even become disfigured in stupidity. The distortions in the assessment of the discourse of the other are now a widespread, the hunt for what is now conventionalized as the politically incorrect in language is just a sample of such a distortion. In this presentation, a number of cases of such a nature is analyzed against cases in which, inversely, the use of language is markedly polite, but the deviation of conduct is made more evident. The objective is to evaluate both cases via the role of intersubjectivity in the construal of discourse, aiming at verifying its conceptual counterpart, with special attention to evidence on the mutual conceptual engagement between interlocutors.

O regime de metas de inflação no Brasil: uma análise empírica do IPCA

Inflation targeting regime is a monetary policy adopted by several countries in the 1990s, Brazil being among them, which adopted it in 1999 after a currency crisis. With a theoretical framework inspired by the new-classical theory, this regime is adopted by countries attempting to achieve price stability and it brings the prior announcement of a numerical target for inflation as a key feature. The present work aims at discussing the use of IPCA (Consumer Price Index) as a measuring index for Brazil's inflation after briefly explain the theoretical basis of the IT regime.

Alternativa de tratamento simplificado e integrado da retenção intraóssea de incisivo central superior, associada a odontoma: relato de caso

Permanent teeth impaction is highly prevalent among brazilian people. Its etiology is related to local and general factors association. Permanent teeth retention compromises dental occlusion and when anterior teeth are involved, it also brings esthetics impairments which lead to psychological disturbance. Early diagnosis and adequate treatment are extremely important to solve not only occlusal problems but also psychological aspects. Orthodontic traction of impacted teeth can be conducted by using fixed or removable appliances. Although it depends on patient compliance the use of removable appliances provides an anchorage based on the teeth and the palate reducing undesirable side effects. This paper describes the case of a fourteen years old female patient whose right maxillary central incisor was adequately tractioned with a removable orthodontic appliance. Removable orthodontic devices were used at first to reposition teeth in maxillary anterior area what provided adequate space to allow the placement of the impacted incisor and after were also used to traction and position this tooth. The procedure described seemed to be effective, non expensive and a viable treatment to be performed even on the scope of public health services, extending orthodontic treatment to a higher number of patients.

Considerações acerca do preparo ortodôntico direcionado à cirurgia ortognática

This work aims at contributing to increase and improve the communication between orthodontists and maxillofacial surgeons, reviewing and discussing the principles of diagnosis and orthodontic movement specific to patients with surgical indication. It describes the elective points in the conduct of the orthodontist so that their decisions could lead to an individualized and appropriate planning, striving for excellence in terms of outcomes for the surgical-orthodontic treatment of dentofacial discrepancies.

Responsabilidade do profissional da saúde no esclarecimento equivocado do paciente para obter o seu consentimento livre e esclarecido

Ao paciente é necessário fornecer esclarecimentos sobre as possibilidades terapêuticas, apresentando os riscos, benefícios, prognóstico e custos de cada alternativa possível e indicada. Esta é uma determinação ética e jurídica. Não obstante, o profissional da saúde detém o conhecimento clínico/técnico/científico, e determina quais informações serão (ou não) fornecidas. O paciente decide submeter-se a um tratamento, fornecendo o seu Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido com base nos dados a ele apresentados. Infelizmente, pode ocorrer de alguns profissionais não fornecerem todas as informações necessárias a uma tomada de decisão esclarecida ou, depois de obtido o consentimento do paciente, apresentarem-lhe informação que cause sua desistência do tratamento inicialmente aceito. Esta última informação, se pertinente, e não se tratando de fato superveniente, deveria ter sido fornecida inicialmente. Porém, a informação pode não ser de todo verdadeira, e levar o paciente a decidir baseado, por exemplo, em riscos apresentados e mensurados de forma equivocada. A reabilitação crânio-facial da Articulação Têmporo-Mandibular (ATM), por meio de prótese de ATM, é indicada em muitas situações. Amiúde, pacientes que necessitam de tais próteses apresentam problemas funcionais e estéticos; a expectativa gerada com a reabilitação é grande. Este trabalho apresenta um caso e discute questões éticas e legais, incluindo a responsabilidade civil, do fornecimento parcial e inadequado de esclarecimentos a um paciente.

Literature is a treasure for humanity and for the school. It causes psychological function of the individual, inserts it in the context of various cultures and historic moments, and, by having formative nature, School and Literature are intrinsecally related institutions. But literature is not the end of the first teaching, while the school has the purpose of teaching literature. Literature is not a source of good leads standards; have to be educated without this process to misrepresent. Thus, it was estalished is to investigate the inadequacy of schooling of Children's Literature pointed out by Soares in 2006, is still reality that becomes present in school or if there was any change in that status. Specific objectives were established: 1)Scanning separately in each of the books education system, from first to fifth grade of elementary school, according to the following categories involving education of literary reading: selection of genres and authors; presentation of these genres and no change from one genre to another; 2)analyze the way children's literature is presented by note-books analyzed education system develop the sensitivity of the student for pluris-signification and expressiveness of literary language, while fulfilling its social function and knowledge; 3)review the comprehension activities of literary reading proposed by notebooks to seize their educational goals. Therefore, we carried out basic theoretical research, demonstrating the functions of literature and the teaching of literature in school, and documentary research. A crença religiosa sob a perspectiva semiótica de Peirce

Current paper presents the relationships between beliefs, specifically religious ones, and the Peirce’s theory of interpretants. It is assumed that religious belief emphasizes the emotional aspect of faithful, preventing criticism and change of habit. According to the author, the nature of cognition is contrary to the determination of this kind of belief since it is based on the method and fallibility of hypotheses. It is not enough for the method to deduce its consequences but seeks the inductive verification of their results in the long run and through the community of beings who thinks through signs. The problem of religious belief is the acceptance of a transcendent world and intuition which guides behavior. The vague idea of God is not submitted to scientific hypotheses but, engendered by religious systems, it creates signs whose emotional appeal is evident, redirecting it to its own target principles. Therefore, is repeats the success achieved in the past by dogmas, which were effective to appease the anguish of the believer and reproduce order. Knowledge should not have any boundaries because it is grounded on the method and cognition of reality.
