Emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero y mitigación en el sector residuos: la economía del cambio climático en la Argentina

En este estudio se analizaron las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) y su mitigación en el sector residuos. Se examinó la producción de residuos sólidos urbanos y aguas residuales domésticas e industriales, observándose una relación significativa entre ésta y el Producto Interno Bruto. Las emisiones de GEI en el sector se calcularon mediante el método de descomposición de primer orden en las ciudades con datos de actividad sobre los residuos y en las restantes con el método por defecto.

La planificación participativa para lograr un cambio estructural con igualdad: las estrategias de participación ciudadana en los procesos de planificación multiescalar

Este manual, que el ILPES coloca a disposición de funcionarios públicos y agentes no gubernamentales que trabajan en la comunidad, tiene el propósito de compartir una breve reflexión teórica sobre el contexto socio-político actual y un conjunto de instrumentos metodológicos que acercarán al usuario a la práctica social de un proceso de participación ciudadana en la construcción de un instrumento de gestión pública. El manual se estructura en dos capítulos. El primero conceptualiza la planificación multiescalar participativa, a la vez que realiza una breve introducción a tres temas de suma relevancia a incorporar en todo proceso de planificación participativa y construcción de instrumentos de gestión pública: la perspectiva de género, el uso del Convenio 169 y del Principio 10. El segundo capítulo sistematiza un conjunto de instrumentos metodológicos que describen las etapas de una estrategia de participación ciudadana para incorporar a los instrumentos de gestión pública multiescalar. El manual cierra con dos anexos, el último de los cuales incorpora un conjunto de herramientas que podrán ser utilizadas en las etapas de la construcción de una estrategia de participación ciudadana

Fiscal Panorama of Latin America and the Caribbean 2016: Public finances and the challenge of reconciling austerity with growth and equality

Latin America’s fiscal accounts deteriorated slightly during 2015, registering an average deficit of 3.0% of GDP and average gross public debt of 34.7% of GDP. Of the 19 countries considered, the fiscal deficit and public debt as a share of GDP both increased in 11. The region started to build up public debt, most of it domestic, after the 2008 international financial crisis to meet the growing financing needs resulting from the worsening growth situation.

Inventário da ictiofauna do alto rio Paraíba do Sul e caracterização molecular das espécies encontradas

The state of São Paulo has four main drainages: Paraná river, Paraíba do Sul river, Ribeira do Iguape river and coastal rivers. The Paraíba do Sul river is born in Sao Paulo and drains an important range of land east of the state. Its ichthyofauna has some similarities and many differences from the continental and coastal drainages which highlights the importance of this study. Surveys conducted in the ichthyofauna of this basin, as in other large river basins in Brazil, is still incomplete. Moreover, there is no consensus about the taxonomic status of many species listed in these surveys. Considering the promising use of DNA barcode as a global system for species identification, the present study is aimed to establishing an inventory of the ichthyofauna of the São Paulo portion of the river Paraíba do Sul and simultaneously build a DNA barcode reference sequence library for fish found. Were obtained and analyzed 354 sequences of the gene cytochrome oxidase c subunit I (COI) belonging to 66 species of São Paulo portion of the Paraíba do Sul river. The average K2P distance between individuals within species of this basin was 0.48%, and 9,87% between species within a genus. Five pairs of species (10 species) showed low levels of interspecific genetic divergence (<2%),but all could be correctly identified. This study showed that the fish species analyzed could be identified efficiently through the use of barcode generating data that can provide information for further studies of this fauna, besides contributing to the global initiative to characterize the species of fish in the world of a molecular point of view. Gerenciamento de inventário por meio de ferramentas de controle da produção em empresas de higiene pessoal, perfumaria e cosméticos

This action-research work presents tools which are related to production monitoring: Follow-up of Products Release from Quality Department and Follow-up of Production Volumes. Both tools allows controlling release delays of finished goods based on the quality specifications, and the accurate analysis of production volumes variations compared to pre-established plans. They have direct impact into enterprises inventory levels that are part of Toiletries, Perfumery and Cosmetics market segment. By applying these tools, it´s possible to identify opportunities for process optimization that brings benefits for the final customer. The results seen by the tools application are presented by the analysis of delayed stock for release quantities evolution and testimonies from professionals of Supply Chain

This work deals with the creation of an inventory policy, with the main objective of increasing the company's level of service offered to its customers, avoiding plant stops by the lack of raw materials and / or bad inventory management. Calculating safety stock and reorder point of the main raw materials of chemical industry by collecting historical data, statistical analysis and future projections of the company's consumption, and a proposed solution.
