A sala de aula em cena: uma pesquisa em ensino do teatro a partir da experiência docente

At first moment we present a reflection about the history of theater and later a contextualization of didactic movements oriented to scenic arts. Through at the constant dialogue with authors of areas involving education, theatre, corporeality and music was possible analyzing, develop and criticize a education work under my responsibility involving fourteen classes. At the second moment will occur a critical self about the quality of theater classes his contents and methodologies. The technique will be at side of the emotion and together develop skills aimed at tracing paths for theater developed at a classroom of a especific private school in Natal-RN. At the third moment one class is chosen for analyze of the academic research and many experiments happen after this decision, initiated and sensitized through of the music with a significant look at the corporeality and prioritizing the theater as content in ninth grade - elementary school two. At the conclusion is possible see that learning is mutual and the theater can become life routine as well as the arts in general and when all arts will be regularized into the national educational system for public and private schools we will have more susceptible humans and more intellectual capacity

Doenças do metabolismo do colesterol: cromatografia de esteróis no diagnóstico de 25 casos em Portugal

Os esteróis desempenham um papel fundamental nos processos fisiológicos de praticamente todos os organismos vivos. O esterol mais abundante nos seres humanos é o colesterol, o qual desempenha uma multiplicidade de funções desde a estrutural à sinalização. A extração e análise de esteróis no plasma é complexa devido à sua insolubilidade, sequestração dentro das lipoproteínas e à grande diferença entre cada tipo de esterol. Os autores apresentam a casuística referentes à análise de 13 esteróis e fitosteróis em plasma e líquido amniótico.

Characterization of water-soluble organic compounds in bioaerosols by liquid chromatography and fluorescence spectroscopy

In the last decades, the effects of the air pollution have been increasing, especially in the case of the human health diseases. In order to overcome this problem, scientists have been studying the components of the air. As a part of water-soluble organic compounds, amino acids are present in the atmospheric environment as components of diverse living organisms which can be responsible for spreading diseases through the air. Liquid chromatography is one technique capable of distinguish the different amino acids from each other. In this work, aiming at separating the amino acids found in the aerosols samples collected in Aveiro, the ability of four columns (Mixed-Mode WAX-1, Mixed-Mode HILIC-1, Luna HILIC and Luna C18) to separate four amino acids (aspartic acid, lysine, glycine and tryptophan) and the way the interaction of the stationary phases of the columns with the analytes is influenced by organic solvent concentration and presence/concentration of the buffer, are being assessed. In the Mixed-Mode WAX-1 column, the chromatograms of the distinct amino acids revealed the separation was not efficient, since the retention times were very similar. In the case of lysine, in the elution with 80% (V/V) MeOH, the peaks appeared during the volume void. In the Mixed-Mode HILIC-1 column, the variation of the organic solvent concentration did not affect the elution of the four studied amino acids. Considering the Luna HILIC column, the retention times of the amino acids were too close to each other to ensure a separation among each other. Lastly, the Luna C18 column revealed to be useful to separate amino acids in a gradient mode, being the variation of the mobile phase composition in the organic solvent concentration (ACN). Luna C18 was the column used to separate the amino acids in the real samples and the mobile phase had acidified water and ACN. The gradient consisted in the following program: 0 – 2 min: 5% (V/V) ACN, 2 – 8 min: 5 – 2 % (V/V) ACN, 8 – 16 min: 2% (V/V) ACN, 16 – 20 min: 2 – 20 % (V/V) ACN, 20 – 35 min: 20 – 35 % (V/V) ACN. The aerosols samples were collected by using three passive samplers placed in two different locations in Aveiro and each sampler had two filters - one faced up and the other faced down. After the sampling, the water-soluble organic compounds was extracted by dissolution in ultra-pure water, sonication bath and filtration. The resulting filtered solutions were diluted in acidified water for the chromatographic separation. The results from liquid chromatography revealed the presence of the amino acids, although it was not possible to identify each one of them individually. The chromatograms and the fluorescence spectra showed the existence of some patterns: the samples that correspond to the up filters had more intense peaks and signals, revealing that the up filters collected more organic matter.

Interdisciplinaridade como estratégia para um cuidado de saúde culturalmente competente em serviço de infeciologia

A interdisciplinaridade é uma estratégia para a qualidade dos cuidados de saúde. A consciência das diferenças dentro dos grupos homogêneos favorecem ações mais congruentes, como proposta de superação da dificuldade de união entre a ciência e a complexidade em saúde. Sugere um repensar sobre a fragmentação do conhecimento na saúde e uma reflexão que fortaleça as parcerias entre os múltiplos profissionais com enfoque em melhores condições de saúde e vida da população. Neste artigo, objetivou-se descrever a abordagem interdisciplinar no processo de cuidar culturalmente competente a pessoa vivendo com HIV; e compreender, na percepção do enfermeiro, a relação entre a interdisciplinaridade e o processo de cuidar culturalmente competente. O estudo foi do tipo descritivo e exploratório, realizado em serviços de infeciologia referência em Portugal. As informações foram coletadas por observações participantes do contexto social e durante as reuniões de equipa. Também foram realizadas 18 entrevistas semiestruturadas com os enfermeiros dos serviços. Todos os preceitos éticos do estudo com seres humanos foram respeitados. Os dados foram tematizados com suporte da análise de conteúdo de Bardin (2011) e apresentam-se como dois temas: Implicações práticas do trabalho interdisciplinar e Facilidades/dificuldades no cuidar interdisciplinar. Estas temáticas demonstraram a importância da atitude dialógica entre profissionais-instituição-utente, num contexto de confronto de ideias e conhecimentos essenciais para aprimorar a qualidade dos cuidados em saúde por meio da maestria cultural.

A contribution to semantic description of images and videos: an application of soft biometrics

Humans have a high ability to extract visual data information acquired by sight. Trought a learning process, which starts at birth and continues throughout life, image interpretation becomes almost instinctively. At a glance, one can easily describe a scene with reasonable precision, naming its main components. Usually, this is done by extracting low-level features such as edges, shapes and textures, and associanting them to high level meanings. In this way, a semantic description of the scene is done. An example of this, is the human capacity to recognize and describe other people physical and behavioral characteristics, or biometrics. Soft-biometrics also represents inherent characteristics of human body and behaviour, but do not allow unique person identification. Computer vision area aims to develop methods capable of performing visual interpretation with performance similar to humans. This thesis aims to propose computer vison methods which allows high level information extraction from images in the form of soft biometrics. This problem is approached in two ways, unsupervised and supervised learning methods. The first seeks to group images via an automatic feature extraction learning , using both convolution techniques, evolutionary computing and clustering. In this approach employed images contains faces and people. Second approach employs convolutional neural networks, which have the ability to operate on raw images, learning both feature extraction and classification processes. Here, images are classified according to gender and clothes, divided into upper and lower parts of human body. First approach, when tested with different image datasets obtained an accuracy of approximately 80% for faces and non-faces and 70% for people and non-person. The second tested using images and videos, obtained an accuracy of about 70% for gender, 80% to the upper clothes and 90% to lower clothes. The results of these case studies, show that proposed methods are promising, allowing the realization of automatic high level information image annotation. This opens possibilities for development of applications in diverse areas such as content-based image and video search and automatica video survaillance, reducing human effort in the task of manual annotation and monitoring.

Tratamiento paisajístico aplicado a obras viales: estudio del entorno de la variante vial Cuenca-Azogues, sector Nulti

Siendo el paisajismo una de las ramas que más contribuye al anhelo ancestral de forjar espacios funcionales, dignos y hermosos en los cuales desenvolver los afanes de los seres humanos, su aplicación abarca la totalidad del hábitat. Es pues en un ámbito en el que se conjugan lo urbano y lo rural, que se ha decidido poner en juego conocimientos sobre paisaje, a través del análisis de los efectos globales del proyecto de la Variante Vial de la Autopista Cuenca-Azogues; Parroquia Nulti, Cantón Cuenca, mismo que se encuentra en plena etapa operativa.

Computación Cognitiva

La ciencia de la computación arrancó con la era de las máquinas tabulables para después pasar a las programables. Sin embargo el mundo actual vive una transformación radical de la información. Por un lado la avalancha masiva de datos, el llamado Big Data hace que los sistemas requieran de una inteligencia adicional para extraer conocimiento válido de los datos. Por otro lado demandamos cada día más ordenadores que nos entiendan y se comuniquen mejor con nosotros. La computación cognitiva, la nueva era de la computación, viene a responder a estas necesidades: sistemas que utilizan la inteligencia biológica como modelo para establecer una relación más satisfactoria con los seres humanos. El lenguaje natural, la capacidad de moverse en un mundo ambiguo y el aprendizaje son características de los sistemas cognitivos, uno de los cuales, IBM Watson es el ejemplo más elocuente en la actualidad de este nuevo paradigma.

Vitamin A is important in many essential body processes and its deficiency results in serious consequences for human health. Breast milk is the only source of this vitamin for children that are exclusively breastfed. Analysis of vitamin A in mother s milk is important because its concentration is related to maternal vitamin A status and to its ingestion by the mother during pregnancy. The aim of the present study was to assess the effect of maternal supplementation with retynil palmitate on the concentration of colostrum retinol under fasting and postprandial conditions. A total of 149 nursing mothers were recruited at the Januário Cicco Maternity School (Natal, Brazil) and allocated to two groups: Comparison (n = 69) and Test (n = 80). Blood and colostrum (in fasting and postprandial conditions) samples were collected up to 24hs after delivery. Serum retinol and colostrum levels were analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography. The serum retinol level of 41.6 ± 12.7μg/dL (mean ± standard deviation) indicates adequate biochemical nutritional status. Colostrum retinol level was not influenced by serum retinol levels under any of the conditions established. In the colostrum, the retinol concentration in the unsupplemented test group was 67.3 ± 37.7 μg/dL under fasting and 80.3 ± 35.1 μg/dL under postprandial conditions (p<0.05), showing an increase of 19.3%. In the supplemented test group the values were 102.6 ± 57.3 μg/dL and 133.4 ± 78.3 μg/dL under fasting and postprandial, respectively (p<0.05), representing an increase of 30%. Considering that under fasting conditions most of the vitamin A transported to the milk originates in the retinol binding protein (RBP), the postprandial increase in colostrum retinol suggests a different transport mechanism of retinol to maternal milk from that performed by RBP. This situation becomes more evident under supplementation conditions.

A partir del lenguaje los seres humanos logran entablar comunicaci?n, expresar pensamientos, sentimientos y posiciones, el lenguaje adquiere significado dependiendo de la persona y la comunidad que lo utilice. En esta construcci?n de sentidos, el discurso como acto de comunicaci?n se desarrolla a partir de las relaciones sociales que rigen el contexto y la construcci?n del discurso. Existen distintas formas de elaborar dicho discurso, partiendo del uso de las estructuras gramaticales hasta la adopci?n de un estilo y la utilizaci?n de distintas formas ret?ricas. Estos elementos se emplean con un prop?sito y dependiendo de lo que se quiera obtener a cambio. De un profesor a un estudiante, de un empleador a su empleado, de un gobernante a su pueblo. Cada sujeto tiene una meta a alcanzar y lo hace a trav?s del discurso que utiliza. En medio de todo esto, es posible que el relato de los hechos y los eventos, as? como la respuesta o concepci?n de una comunidad frente a lo ocurrido pueda manipularse desde el manejo del discurso y la informaci?n que se promueva. Bioleta Mata: una planta que interactúa por medio de realidad aumentada

Este documento describe una planta real dotada de un vehículo inteligente que le permite navegar por ambientes de interiores, responder a estímulos del ambiente, interactuar con seres humanos a través de realidad aumentada, detectar la presencia de fuego y solicitar ayuda por medio de Twitter. Los experimentos muestran que no hay falsos positivos en la detección de fuego, y que la detección de fuego es superior al 50% de las lecturas del sensor en distancias menores a 5 m, con línea de visión entre el sensor y la llama. La comunicación por radios XBee en ambientes de interiores es efectiva hasta por lo menos 25m de distancia entre los radios.

Terms like Internet, cyberspace, virtual reality, in short, globalization, have been frequently words for all of us, in recent years. This refers to the phenomenon that has shaken the people of this world. Are rapidly changing due to technological advances and complex levels reaching relations between countries, corporations, partnerships and people.The attempt to understand the phenomenon of globalization is compounded when we try to understand the term, coined by Marshall McLuhan.McLuhan was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and studied at the Universities of Manitoba and Cambridge, the latter of which he received his degree of Doctor of Philosophy specializing in English Literature. He taught at the universities of Wisconsin and St. Louis and University of the Assumption and Saint Michael's College, University of Toronto, where he was director of the Center for Culture and Technology.Marshall McLuhan and B. R. Powers, wrote the play, The Village Global1. The universe has become a village is the future predicted for them in the 60's. Today reality has overtaken the theory. However, this phenomenon is presented in this work, so whimsical style reminiscent of Jules Verne, but does not clarify the content of the term. While we believe that in the past there were attempts; globalize these attempts were very different from what we understand by globalization.
