Esta dissertação assume a modalidade de investigação e trabalho exploratório do tema estudo dos alunos. A investigação envolve um levantamento de dados, descrição de fenómenos complexos, compreensão de indicadores. Investigamos as opiniões, percepções, concepções, estratégias e práticas de estudo de 39 alunos do ensino secundário. As opiniões dos alunos são analisadas e comparadas com as dos seus professores e encarregados de educação. A motivação é saber como é que um professor do ensino secundário pode ajudar os alunos a estudar. O objectivo geral consiste em perspectivar o estudo em três turmas de alunos. O levantamento dos dados resultou da aplicação de três instrumentos, Questionário sobre os Hábitos de Estudo (QHE) (Madaleno & Beja, 2010), Inventário de Processos de Estudo – Secundário (IPE-S) (Rosário et al, 2008a; Paiva, 2007), Questionário Procrastinação no Estudo (QPE) (Rosário et al, 2008b; Costa, 2008). Quanto às conclusões ou resultados principais, alunos e professores concordam como as seguintes afirmações: os discentes tendem a estudar quando é urgente e importante; o estudo é importante; aqueles que estudam melhoram as competências; é benéfico aprender usando materiais semelhantes aos dos testes; algumas actividades de estudo são agradáveis; estudar nem sempre é desmotivante; resolver testes beneficia a aprendizagem; os professores devem falar com os alunos acerca dos TPCs. Alunos e professores discordaram quanto ao tempo que os discentes ocupam semanalmente a estudar, se as actividades de estudo duram meia hora, se há semanas em que os discentes não estudam, se os alunos seguem uma planificação, se estudam sozinhos, que só lêem os manuais e livros depois de assistirem às aulas, no eventual benefício das sessões de estudo breves ou prolongadas.

Este estudo avalia as dimensões do engagement que os professores utilizam para lidar com o seu trabalho docente. Para a avaliação das dimensões utilizou-se a Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) elaborada por Schaufeli e Bakker (2003), distinguindo-se as variáveis vigor, dedicação e absorção. Os resultados obtidos nesta investigação (N=54) coincidem com estudos anteriores quanto à consistência interna das três subescalas, que é estável e satisfatória. Revelam também que a UWES apresenta-se como um instrumento válido e adequado para ser utilizado em investigações futuras.

O objetivo do presente estudo é descrever e interpretar, com base nos fundamentos da etnografia, os fenômenos educativos e as ações dos sujeitos envolvidos na prática pedagógica conhecida como “escrita colaborativa”, com a utilização do programa computacional denominado WIKI. Essa prática pedagógica foi realizada durante o ano letivo de 2013, no Laboratório de Informática do Colégio Militar de Fortaleza (CMF), por alunos do 6º Ano do Ensino Fundamental - Turma 601. Constou de práticas interdisciplinares, por meio das quais os discentes atuaram como construtores de seu próprio conhecimento. Esses alunos foram mediados por professores de diversas disciplinas, pela bibliotecária, pela médica que atende no Posto de Saúde do CMF e por essa investigadora ao assumir o papel de observadora participante ativa. Dessa maneira, nesta presente pesquisa está registra a cultura emergente na qual a turma 601 esteve inserida e na qual se desenvolveu a prática metodológica, caracterizada pela interação presencial ou virtual, que rompeu com o planejamento curricular de uma escola consagrada pelo modelo tradicional de ensino. Logo, o estudo está sequencialmente estruturado por meio da apresentação da metodologia alicerçadora da investigação, seguida da caracterização do “lócus da pesquisa”; discussão sobre Inovação Pedagógica e Interdisciplinaridade; apresentação dos fundamentos do trabalho interdisciplinar como Inovação pedagógica, a partir das TICs; descrição, análise e discussão dos dados encontrados, tratados, em especial, à luz do interacionismo de Vygotsky e do construcionismo de Papert.

Na presente tese o Trabalho Prático (TP) foi analisado procurando-se discernir as suas potencialidades na criação de práticas pedagógicas heterodoxas onde o aluno seja socialmente participativo na construção de conhecimento. A investigação fundamentou-se na metodologia etnográfica, tendo a recolha de dados ocorrido durante o desenvolvimento de TP na disciplina de Biologia do 12ºAno de escolaridade. A análise reflexiva dos dados permitiu compreender as vivências culturais do grupo turma, possibilitando criticar as práticas pedagógicas desenvolvidas como continuidade ou rutura com o modelo tradicional de ensino. As conclusões apontam para a importância do TP na humanização da ciência e para a necessidade de conjugar diferentes modalidades de TP, vincando a dimensão social, enquanto meio para o desenvolvimento da Literacia Científica dos alunos. Esta implica que o conhecimento seja socialmente construído, envolvendo a partilha e negociação de uma rede comum de significados. Para tal, o trabalho de grupo aparece como matriz de desenvolvimento do TP potenciado pela democratização do acesso à informação possibilitada pelo uso das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TIC). Neste âmbito, a heterogeneidade cultural dos alunos da turma é uma mais valia na prática social e a customização da aprendizagem uma possibilidade, indiciando potencialidades do TP para a criação de práticas pedagógicas incomuns.

Diante de um novo perfil do emprego e do mercado de trabalho - que se transforma marcadamente em face das tecnologias de informação e comunicação (TIC) há uma demanda por profissionais munidos de novas habilidades e competências. Assim, objetiva-se, de modo geral, analisar as novas habilidades demandadas pelo mercado de trabalho atual para o profissional da informação. Para tanto, busca-se especificamente, caracterizar os fatores determinantes do contexto atual; verificar o impacto das TIC no mercado de trabalho do profissional da informação; e conhecer as transformações ocorridas no perfil deste profissional frente a estas mudanças. Para alcançar os objetivos propostos recorreu-se à pesquisa bibliográfica, bem como à análise de anúncios de empregos divulgados no website Catho On-line. A análise dos dados se deu de forma comparativa entre os anos de 2003 e 2005 e, permitiu concluir que as habilidades exigidas para o profissional da informação na atualidade dizem respeito, além dos conhecimentos técnicos, a fluência em idioma estrangeiro, ao domínio da informática, aos conhecimentos gerencias e, principalmente, às habilidades interpessoais_____________________________________________________________________________Facing a new profile of the job and the labor market - that changes remarkably regarding to the new technologies of information and communication (TIC), there is a demand for professionals who posses new abilities and competences. It was aimed at, then, in general, to analyze the new abilities disputed by the labor market for the professional of information, because of the new available resources. In order to do that, it was specifically searched, to characterize the decisive factors of the current context; to verify the impact of the TIC in the labor market of the professional of information; and to know the transformations happened in the profile of these professionals before these changes. To reach the proposed objectives it was realized bibliographical research, as well as to the analysis of advertisements of jobs published in the website Catho On-line, of comparative form between the years of 2003 and 2005. The analysis of the data allowed us to conclude that the abilities demanded for the professional of information at the present time concern, besides the technical knowledge, the fluency in a foreign language, to the domain of the computer science and the managing knowledge

The present study has proposed a structural model to identify the reasons why individuals become voluntary, keep and exit this type of work. The empirical space was the Pastoral da Criança - social action agency of the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB) - community-based institution that has its work based on solidarity and the sharing of knowledge. The theoretical framework has the context in which are volunteering studies in Brazilian and world level. Then discuss the various concepts of volunteering and presented the theoretical models of volunteer motivation. Studies of Mostyn (1983) and studies conducted by the BEPEGE-Base for Studies and Research in Management Policies and Strategies - in their line of research GERQUAL - Human Resource Management and Organizational Quality - of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte as Carvalho e Souza(2006), Souza, Medeiros e Fernandes (2006), Souza et al (2009, 2010), Cavalcante et al (2011a, 2011b, 2011c, 2011d) were the main theoretical references for the construction of the model that was tested. Data collection was done through a survey with 71 indicators, in 2 visits to cities from the Diocese of Pesqueira, Pernambuco. The first data collection occurred in the period between May 30 and June 3, 2011, in Buique/PE and the second collection happened in Pesqueira/PE, in St. Joseph Seminary, in the period between July 6-8, 2011. 720 questionnaires were collected. The sample was divided into two parts. Exploratory Factor Analysis was applied in first part and Confirmatory Factor Analysis - structural equation modeling - in the second half. The examination of the results achieved by the expectations, reasons for entry, reasons for staying and exit reasons showed that all hypotheses were accepted. So the motivation of voluntary Pastoral da Criança can be explained by a set of interactions between these five constructs: Altruistic, Affectionate, Amiable, Adjusted and Astute

The present thesis aimed at understanding how the insertion of music in the work environment contributes to achieving Quality of Work Life. - QWL, under the perspective of biopsychosocial and organizational well-being. As to music insertion we considered the theoretical-empirical perception about how music is inserted at work and its functions on such place. The context where the study was taken was the manufacturing area of a major textile company, located in Natal, state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, in which music is used during labor activities. The only study case was the research strategy adopted, with exploratory and descriptive purposes. The primary data were collected through the focus group technique, applied to the collaborator in the manufacturing sector. The semi-structured interview was done as a complementary tool, directed to the supervisor in that sector. Respecting the theoretical saturation criterion, we formed four focus groups, each one composed of eight members randomly selected, among the seventy-six collaborators in the sector. The data were analyzed qualitatively, through the content analysis technique, more specifically the category analysis. We identified twenty-eight QWL attributes. Six of them were found present in the four focus groups and in the interview. Among these ones, the attribute of Interpersonal Relationship at Work, contemplating the Psychological and Organizational dimensions, was the only one anticipated in four out of fifteen theoretical models here listed. The attribute Music at Work Environment could be inserted in the four QWL dimensions, highlighting the power and relevance of this attribute for the research participants. The way music has been inserted in the labor environment contributes to promoting well-being at work, which goes against theoretical conceptions, especially when it comes to musical genre. We identified nine functions of music at work, among which, Improving Work Conditions, Improving Interpersonal Relationship at Work and Favoring Motivation for Work had to be emphasized for being associated to three QWL attributes. In the total, we highlighted seven associations. The most affected QWL dimension through the insertion of music at work was the Psychological one, followed by the Organizational one. We conclude that music insertion provides biological, social and, above all, psychological and organizational well-being to the contributors, thus contributing to obtaining QWL at the labor environment researched. However, we should consider the context and proceed to periodical plans and adjustments in the way of music insertion so as to avoid health and well-being problems to those people at work

The theoretical recital of the present study it is initiated of the evidence that the work occupies an important space in the man s life in way that the majority of the people works and passes great part of its time inside organizati ons. However, it is verified that the relation between man and work is becoming increasingly disagreement a time that the employees had started to complain work s routines, stress, not use all their potential and inadequate work s conditions. It can be observed by the way of Dejours (1994) studies. Thus, as contribution for the quality of work life s (QWL) studies the research developed here objectified to characterize the public employees quality of work life at EMATER -RN taking as reference an instrumen t of research synthesized from the typical academic literature of the subject. The synthesis of an ampler instrument is a necessity not taken care to the literature that treats on the subject but already perceived by some studies like Moraes et al (1990); Rodrigues (1989); Siqueira & Coleta (1989); Moraes et al (1992); Carvalho & Souza (2003); El -Aouar & Souza (2003) and Mourão, Kilimnick & Fernandes (2005); Adorno, Marques & Borges (2005) amongst others. These studies point out weak points of the existing models in the QWL s literature, as well as they recommend the elaboration of a model more flexible, that contemplates Brazilian cultural characteristics, and that contemplates the entire variable studied in the main existing models. For reach this objectiv e the adopted methodology was characterized as a case study with collected data in qualitative and quantitative way. Questionnaires and comments had been used as sources of evidences. These evidences had been tabulated through of statistical package SPSS ( Statistical Package for Social Science), in which the main technique of multivariate analysis used were the factorial analysis. As for the gotten results, it was verified the grouping of the quality of work life s indicators in 11 factors which are: Work s execution, Individual accomplishment, Work s equity, Relation individual and organization, Work s organization, Adequacy of the remuneration, Relation between head and subordinate, Effectiveness of the communication and the learning, Relation between work and personal life, Participation and Effectiveness of the work processes. Whatever to the characterization of the EMATER -RN s quality of work life it was clearly that to the measure that the satisfaction s evaluation with the QWL in the organization walks to intrinsic factors for extrinsic factors this level of satisfaction goes diminishing what points to the importance to improve these extrinsic factors in the institution. In summary it is possible to conclude that the organization studied has offered a significant set of referring variable to the quality of work life of the individual

The theoretical foundation of this study addresses the construct Quality of Worklife involving pro-active reading organizations in face to social developments of the working class, which is a challenge to the people s management. In this sense, as a contribution to the studies of quality of worklife (QOWL), this study addresses the quality of lifework of nurses at Walfredo Gurgel and Santa Catarina public hospitals. The goal is to make a diagnosis about the quality of lifework of these employees taking as a basis dimensions and performance indicators shown in the model by Fernandes (1996). The research is characterized by field, in a descriptive way. This survey comprised 75 nurses, with 49 by Walfredo Gurgel hospital and 26 by Santa Catarina one. The data collection was carried out through structured questionnaire. The questions were processed in the software Statistic 6.0, with factor analysis and multiple regressions, after the systematization of data. As a result, the most nurses in hospitals are dissatisfied with the quality of lifework, with the highest incidence in Santa Catarina hospital. The variable occupational health assessment was more negative in the hospital Santa Catarina one, whereas in Walfredo Gurgel, was family assistance. The variable guarantee of employment was more positive assessment in two hospitals without, though, implying in high importance on QOWL of nurses. The factor structure and decision showed greater sensitivity to explain the QOWL of nurses, joining 17 variables from 40 of the model. The factor working conditions, joining 6 variables, showed the second highest sensitivity. The compensation factor, gathering 5 variables, showed the third highest sensitivity while image and health factors showed minor importance
