Representatividade das redes sociais no processo educacional: potencialidades dos grupos virtuais como ferramentas de ensino-aprendizagem no Ensino Médio

One tool that has been in evidence, especially among young people, is Facebook. It can be classified as a synchronous communication tool that allows communities of people with similar interests to discuss and exchange experiences in real time, promoting the sharing of information and the creation of collective knowledge, even if they being in different parts of the globe. In this paper we show that Facebook can be used as an educational tool to aid the work done in the classroom and the impact of creating closed groups in online social networking for educational purposes. The survey was conducted with a group of students at a private school in Bauru/SP. We investigated the interaction profile of students with a closed group created on Facebook and through a questionnaire analyzed whether students use virtual environments for personal or educational. The survey reveals students perceptions about relevant aspects and the potential use of this tool as teaching-learning strategy

Democracia digital e redes sociais: Twitter como filtro de informação política

The internet, with its hypertext and multimedia features, can be a support for the dissemination of information in an attractive way, which may contribute to the strengthening of democracy. Recent innovation, social networks have been explored also as a resource to attract the interest of the broader public to information about public policies. This paper presents and discusses the results of an empirical study which assessed, through content analysis, the breadth and depth of information offered by the Sao Paulo state government and the federal government in texts accessed through Twitter to publicize purposes, lines of action and limits of public policy in the areas of welfare, health, education and environment . The results indicate that the information available tend to focus mainly on goals, resources and current actions of policies, whereas there can be found few data on planned features, relation between cost and effectiveness and user satisfaction.

Comunicação pública para cidadania no avanço das redes sociais oficiais

The advancement in the deployment of social networks by governments can generate public communication initiatives, which may contribute to the strengthening of citizenship, understood as the exercise of the right to information about public management. This article describes results of research which assessed, through content analysis, the breadth and depth of information offered by the state government of São Paulo in news stories accessed through the social networks Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Orkut which publicize purposes, lines of action and limits of public policies of immediate impact for citizenship, in the areas of welfare, health, education and environment. Results indicate that the analyzed sample contains, on average, from 28% to 40% of all information deemed necessary for the comprehensive and plural characterization of a public policy, according to the theoretical-methodological context of the research.

This paper deals with psychological aspects involving bodybuilders nowadays, through their interests, motivations, factors that favor them to practice physical activity, frequent body image disorders, and major benefits that can be acquired when weight training the right way, whether physical or psychological. During the work is addressed to the Theory of Self-Determination and its characteristics, and behavioral aspects of the individual. We explore the types of motivation, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, and their regulatory mechanisms. Did the relationship with weight training and the environment that surrounds it as the interaction between those involved in practice between the student and teacher performance and results and the effects that this interference can have on motivation and individual behavior. Also we relate body image factors, the perception of bodybuilders in relation to his own body, and the possible disorders that can promote. Describe the Vigorexia and their characteristics, we made a list of body image and self-esteem, approach standards set by society, the aesthetic influence and media disclosure. Finally, we explore the key benefits that well-directed physical activity can provide its practitioners. Physical, mental and social beneficial, improved self-esteem and in one's relationship skills. We address the growing strength in recent years, and their improvements in the various age groups and the population's quality of life

Autismo: aspectos cognitivos, educacionais e neurobiológicos com base na análise dos livros Mundo singular: entenda o autismo e o Os gatos nunca mentem sobre o amor e na literatura especializada

The autism is a severe mental illness that involves psychological, social, educational and neurobiological aspects. The Education plays an important role in recovering, preserving and increasing the cognitive task of people with autism. There are several ways to observe a person with autism. Through the studying of cases, it is also possible to address issues of everyday life of the person with the illness, its cognitive issues and its obstacles of psychosocial involvement, as well as psychological aspects such as illness acknowledgement. Through specialized literature, it is possible to identify characteristics referring to the learning process and neurobiological components involved in the condition, such as brain activity disorder and genetic factors. The objectives of this paper are: from the analysis of two books: Unique World: comprehend the Autism (SILVA, A. B. B; GAIATO, M.B; REVELES, L.T) and The cats never lie about love (DILLON, J.), it is intended to describe cognitive and psychosocial aspects of the autism. Based on the specialized literature, the goal is to identify cognitive and neurobiological components in the illness. The methods that were used: analysis of the books Unique World: comprehend the Autism and The cats never lie about love to describe psychosocial and educational aspects of the autism; analysis of the specialized literature to identify clinical and neurobiological components of the illness, such as changes in brain activity, genetic factors or clinical evolution; and also details of the Education role in preserving the person with autism and his cognitive and emotional development. The study had the documentary research as reference for the methodological design, including book analysis and research in specialized literature. It is intended to deepen discussions about the Education roles related to the cognitive and neurobiological aspects of the autism

Besides, we thought about the construction of an other - teacher - by means of the I speech (the enunciator). Furthermore, we reflected on how happens the genre opinion article handling and whether there is, when aimed to the teaching class. All these questions were discussed under the perspective of Bakhtin's theory, focusing our analysis in the wording notions, dialogism, style and speech genres. Our analysis indicates a materialization of social values in syntactic issues and a hybridization of genres when the addressee is a teacher

Integração de critérios técnicos, ambientais e sociais em estudos de alternativas locacionais para implantação de aterro sanitário

A Política Nacional do Meio Ambiente tem como objetivo a conciliação do desenvolvimento econômico e social com a qualidade ambiental, e dispõe de vários instrumentos que procuram contemplara capacidade de suporte do meio. Assim, a discussão sobre a localização das atividades é uma etapa importante para a avaliação da viabilidade ambiental de um determinado empreendimento, notadamente em processos de licenciamento ambiental. O trabalho apresenta uma abordagem metodológica para integração de critérios técnicos, ambientais e sociais em estudos de alternativas de localização de aterros sanitários, com especial atenção à interação entre os aspectos ambientais e os elementos fundamentais de um projeto (a saber, requisitos locacionais e concepção tecnológica), aplicado em um estudo de caso em São Carlos (SP). Como resultados principais, destacam-se o maior foco nos impactos significativos e a possibilidade de envolvimento de segmentos importantes da sociedade previamente à elaboração dos estudos ambientais.

Ações para capacitação de empreendedores sociais a partir de escolas de negócios brasileiras e européias

Desde o final da década de 1990, a emergência de inovações sociais, entre elas o empreendedorismo social, produz novas formas de tratamento e busca de soluções para os problemas sociais, surgidos devido ao fracasso dos governos e organismoos estatais. Apesar do crescente interesse acadêmico sobre este campo de estudo, a definição de empreendedorismo social não é consenso e tem-se tornado mais complexa. Sobretudo quanto às linhas de investigaçao há que se considerar as diferenças entre autores norte-americanos e europeus, sendo que os primeiros adotam o termo do empreendedorismo social e os europeus assumem a linha da empresa social, que também possui diferentes interpretações, diferindo de país a país, sob diversas formas legais. Também emerge uma outra concepção de empresa social, a partir da proposição de Yunus (2008), diferente do conceito de empresa social baseada na economia social. Ademais, nos últimos dez anos inúmeras instituições e escolas de negócios tem ofertado programas de capacitação em empreendedorismo social, ao utilizar sua estrutura e expertise, consolidadas em suas experiências com formação de gestores e líderes empresariais. Assim sendo, este trabalho, resultado de uma parceria entre investigadores e professores da Universidade Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) e da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina(UFSC), pretende analisar os termos empresa social e empreendedorismo social e suas características bem como descrever alguns cursos e programas de capacitação de empreendedores sociais e seus elementos constituintes. Trata-se de trabalho de cunho exploratório, com abordagem qualitativa, e pesquisa em periódicos, livros, sites, papers. Resultante dessa pesquisa, constata-se que apesar de divergentes em alguns aspectos, as diversas iniciativas para a busca da superação dos problemas sociais possuem elementos comuns, assim como os programas de capacitação das instituições e escolas de negócios analisadas.
