Coarse grained sample with multiple fine grained domains. Clasts range from small to medium and sub-angular to sub-rounded. Mainly contains grain crushing (with grains crushed into one another) and short distance lineations. A few rotation structures are seen and fine grained sand domains can also be seen.

HG 225.15-225.25 Thin Section

Dark brown sediment with sub-angular to sub-rounded grains, that range from small to medium in size. Lineations with fractured grains are abundant, and grain crushing can also be seen. Minor rotation can also be seen.

HG 268.15-268.30 Thin Section

Coarse grained sample, with small clasts. Clasts range from sub-angular to sub-rounded in shape. Lineations are abundant throughout the sample. Grain stacking and crushing can also be seen in minor amounts.

HG 305.15-305.30

Dark grey sediment with medium to small sized grains. The grains are sub-angular in shape. Rotation structures and grain crushing are the most common microstructures seen. Dark organic material and lineations can also be seen.

HG 421.15-421.25

Brown sediment with a coarse grained domain and a fine grained domain. The coarse grained domain contains clasts that are small to medium in size. The clast shape ranges from sub-angular to sub-rounded. The coarse grained domain is abundant in lineations. The fine grained domain contains many faint water escape structures. A few rotation structures can also be seen throughout the sample.

Light brown, coarse grained sample with grains ranging from small to medium in size. The clast shape ranges from sub-angular to sub-rounded. Edge-to-edge grain crushing is present in large amounts throughout the sample. Lineations can also be seen throughout the sample.

HG 482.15-482.35

Brown sediment with a coarse grained domain and a few finer grained domains throughout the sample. Clasts range from small to large in size and angular to sub-rounded in shape. In the coarser domain, grain crushing is common. A few rotation structures can also be seen throughout the sample, along with lineations.

HG 37.15-37.25

Brown sediment with clasts ranging from small to large in size. Clast shape ranges from sub-angular to rounded. Rotation structures were abundant throughout the sample, along with necking structures. Lineations and edge-to-edge grain crushing were also present in minor amounts.

HG 115.15-115.25

Dark brown sediment abundant with organic matter. Mainly consists of small clasts that are angular to rounded in shape. Comet structures and lineations can be seen throughout the sample.

HG 129.15-129.30

Brown sediment with clasts ranging from small to medium in size. Clast shape ranges from angular to sub-rounded in shape. Lineations and rotation structures can be seen throughout the sample. Some comet structures and grain stacking can also be seen.

Directors Meeting November 28, 1896 and By-Law No. 14 & 15

The meeting included an election of officers which resulted as follows: John Reid, President; Geo Barnes, Vice President; Geo. Barnes, Man-Director; J. Evans, Secretary. There are also two more by-laws (14 and 15) signed by both G. Barnes and J. Evans.
