It appears to be signed "Love from all and more than ever from Pal". This letter discusses his writing and soon sending it to a magazine and boxing gloves he has just purchased.

The letter discusses fish that needs to be sold by the couple, but no one is interested because the fish is mostly bone and skin. The second letter mentions they have been married for five months. The first letters are labelled numbers 96 and 97.

The letter discusses Arthur's "dandy cruise in the woods. Two hundred miles-" She also mentions that the couple has been married for eight months, but have only lived together two and half months. She talks about a train strike and states "the Pennsylvania trains stopped running yesterday and this morning all ferry boats." She mentions that the trolleys may stop running too. The price of food has increased as a result.

This letter is decorated for Valentine's Day. There is a red cut out hard included that reads "To my Valentine from your Valentine xxxxxx". The second part of the letter talks about how to get to Shelter Bay and Eleanore Celeste remarks "So you do not think it advisable for me to make the trip to Shelter Bay by dog team! Let me tell you dearest, that I wouldn't mind if I had to walk there." These letters are labelled number 126 and 127.

Eleanore Celeste mentions that she went to church and then began to read the book "The Woman named Smith. She finished the book and spent the night awake worrying about Arthur since she has not received a night letter in a week. The next day she receives a telegram from Arthur and she is at "peace". The second part of the letter mentions her mother is attending her final examination before an operation. This letter is labelled number 103.

Eleanore Celeste has returned from an evening church service and is now packing up her family home. Her family is moving from the city to a "suburban town".

Eleanore Celeste has been in an accident after her driver stopped at a police signal, but a truck did not and hit them from behind. No one was injured, but she mentions "my hands are still trembling a bit, I was so frightened". She was on her way to the hospital to see her mother. The letter is labelled number 123.
