O saber fazer docente na educação para a sexualidade em Coimbra, Portugal: a realidade de 02 escolas de ensino básico

The research addresses the teacher know-how in relation to how it is crafted to education for sexuality in two public schools in Coimbra - Portugal, with teachers from different areas of the 3rd cycle of basic education (humanities, sciences and biological sciences), which corresponds to the Elementary School II in Brazil. It will be based on law 60/2009 of August 6, regulated by Decree 196-A of April 9, 2010 of the Ministry of Education - Portugal, which establishes the implementation of sexual education in primary and secondary schools across the country. This research is funded by FAPESP - Research Support Fund of the State of São Paulo, process number 2011/12902-3. The research was based on a qualitative approach, conducting case studies and using semistructured interviews for data collection. The performance of the topic of sexuality and gender relations at Portuguese’s classroom aims to provide young people the opportunity to exercise their sexuality in a responsible, healthy and pleasurable way. The law seeks to ensure that this work is established in the Portuguese school effectively. Therefore, the trajectory of teachers formation (initial or continuing) will also be a focus of this research, to understand how and where it is built and how they act in their daily classroom practices, with their students the sexuality and gender relations

Simplificação de malhas visando representações em multirresolução

The representation of real objects in virtual environments has applications in many areas, such as cartography, mixed reality and reverse engineering. The generation of these objects can be performed through two ways: manually, with CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools, or automatically, by means of surface reconstruction techniques. The simpler the 3D model, the easier it is to process and store it. However, this methods can generate very detailed virtual elements, that can result in some problems when processing the resulting mesh, because it has a lot of edges and polygons that have to be checked at visualization. Considering this context, it can be applied simplification algorithms to eliminate polygons from resulting mesh, without change its topology, generating a lighter mesh with less irrelevant details. The project aimed the study, implementation and comparative tests of simplification algorithms applied to meshes generated through a reconstruction pipeline based on point clouds. This work proposes the realization of the simplification step, like a complement to the pipeline developed by (ONO et al., 2012), that developed reconstruction through cloud points obtained by Microsoft Kinect, and then using Poisson algorithm

Violência no contexto escolar: um estudo das representações de alunos e alunas do ensino fundamental

Um dos temas mais discutidos na instituição de ensino é a problemática da violência dentro do espaço escolar. Porém sabemos que essa questão é delicada e complexa e, para o seu enfrentamento, é necessário, entre outras medidas, o conhecimento de como os jovens percebem sobre esta questão no contexto da escola. Para tanto, este trabalho buscou o prisma dos estudantes sobre o assunto. O objetivo dessa investigação foi compreender a visão de alunos e alunas, estudantes de uma escola municipal, localizada no interior do estado de São Paulo, na cidade de Botucatu, sobre as manifestações violentas (físicas, verbais, psicológicas), no âmbito escolar, as possíveis causas dessas ações, bem como suas sugestões para solucionar o problema da violência no interior das instituições educacionais. O estudo foi desenvolvido a partir de uma abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa e os dados foram coletados por meio de questionários individuais, discussões em grupo de textos jornalísticos, produção individual de desenhos e produção de cartazes em grupo. Os dados coletados e analisados revelam que as representações sobre a violência escolar mais freqüente estão relacionadas à violência física, sendo que a violência verbal e psicológica aparece com índices semelhantes e com uma freqüência muito menor que a violência física. O estudo também identifica a maneira como essas ações agressivas são identificadas e tratadas pelos alunos; quem são os envolvidos nos atos de agressão; os locais e horário de maior incidência de violência dentro da escola; qual a vivência dos participantes da pesquisa sobre a violência; e que medidas eles buscariam para solucionar essa problemática em sua escola. Conclui-se que, para a maioria dos alunos, a solução do problema da violência é necessária aplicar punições disciplinares e policiais cada vez mais radicais. Formação em sexualidade, diversidade e relações de gênero no Centro de Habilitação Infantil Princesa Victoria - CHIPV: os seus desdobramentos

A pesquisa atuou no Centro de Habilitação Princesa Victoria- CHIPV, que é uma unidade de saúde cujo objetivo é atender crianças e adolescentes de 0 a 18 anos que possuem alguma deficiência física e ou sensorial. A pesquisa teve o objetivo de acompanhar as práticas vivenciadas pelos profissionais, a partir de uma formação que tratou a temática de sexualidade e relações de gênero, ministrada por pesquisadores da UNESP. A pesquisa se debruça em observar, acompanhar, perceber, problematizar e avaliar o quanto à formação continuada dentro do CHIPV (Centro de Habilitação Princesa Victoria), pode transformar as práticas dos adolescentes, o foco desta pesquisa, gerando mais possibilidades de vivencias, entendimento e outros olhares sobre a questão da sexualidade e deficiência, e como esta se desdobrará no cotidiano

Gêneros do discurso, ciência e mídia: a divulgação científica em questão

This work’s main purpose is to research how the scientific speech is outlined on the Revista Língua Portuguesa in statements made by linguists. Statements issued in the previously mentioned magazine have been analyzed. In order to achieve the proposal, the research was based on the following questions: how both the scientific and the scientific divulgation speeches are formed in the magazine, and whether the opinion texts written by scholars and researchers in the linguistic field identify themselves with opinion articles, scientific articles or scientific divulgation texts. Those questions were discussed from the theoretical-methodological bakhtinian perspective, taking the notion of dialogism, the human activity sphere, genres of discourse and style as conceptual elements. It has been detected that there is a complexity in the construction of the genres in the magazine, always taking into account the journalistic and scientific spheres of circulation. The analyzed statements presented themselves as a confluence of many genres’ characteristics, showing a point of view, a scientific subject, a researcher-author and a language adjustment to the magazine reader, making it more accessible. The analysis showed that the discussed statements resemble opinion articles, scientific articles, and reviews, besides being scientific divulgation at the same time

A Confluência de Gêneros em Dark Water, de Walter Salles Jr.

Dark Water is the title of the translation of a short story, ―Floating Water‖, from the book Honogurai mizu no soko kara by Koji Suzuki, originally published in Japan, that the Japanese director Hideo Nakata adapted for the cinema and that was remade by the Brazilian director Walter Salles Jr. The objective of this study is to analyse Walter Salles’ film to demonstrate how it resolved the problems of transcreation, whilst at the same time it fulfilled commercial and artistic functions and incorporated the traces of its aesthetic trajectory. In this case, attention is drawn to the types of relationship between literature and cinema, to the metalinguistic function as a generator of poetics and of an interesting dialogue between genres.

Diga-me quem tu és: o léxico-marketing na publicidade e o comportamento de gêneros sociais

It is unanimous among lexicologists that lexical units present deep marks in the representativeness of cultural and behavioral issues. Thus, some scholars have been proposing methodologies in order to enable the verification, scientifically, of mechanisms to systematize the lexicon within a specific time/space. In this way, it would be possible to promote discussions about its relations with social matters. These lexical contents can be analyzed, for instance, in the publicity having in mind its power of extending the desires of its receiver/customer to the acquisition of products/services since it is a media outlet that provide aids, by means of verbal texts produced by advertising editors, in order to deal with issues of our society, as those related to female and male genders. From all of this, the present article aims at organizing lexical items in market segments, here referred to lexicon-marketing, so as to make possible observation of social behaviors in the universes of both women and men.

Estudo das representações do mundo do trabalho de alunos do meio rural através do uso de mídias virtuais

This paper aims to present the representations of the working world of high school students, the State School Prof. Dr. João Deoclécio da Silva Ramos, Distrito de Talhado, São José do Rio Preto (SP), through the use of virtual media, specifically the Blog de Aula – Mutirão de Sociologia (www.mutiraodesociologia.com.br). Understanding the representations of the world work enables students to think of a profession which identify themselves, and stimulate reflection as future professionals. The virtual media, especially blogs, allow students to express their ways of living and thinking the world of work. In the context of the city of Rio Preto, is especially relevant these representations of the world’s rural work, so this project is to collaborate in the development of research concerned with the description and understanding of processes that involve relationships between work, education and rural.

As meninas: entre o universo de Lygia Fagundes Telles e o universo das representações femininas (2010)

This article is devoted to a brief analysis of representations of women in As meninas, by Lygia Fagundes Telles, focusing on the three main characters of the novel and also on some secondary characters. The novel is set within a context that was characterized by a double crisis: the political crisis arising from authoritarianism and violence of the military dictatorship, and the crisis of the patriarchy system, due to the gradual political and social emancipation of women. Our paper aims to understand, in a succinct way, the critical dialogue established in the novel between the representations of women and that context of the dual crisis that constitute the novelistic material of As meninas

A causalidade de porque em textos escolares: domínios de atuação, gêneros de produção

In this article we address the causality conveyed by constructions with porque in compositions written by students from a public school. Our purpose is to compare factors of cognitive and discursive order for examining possible motivations related to the variability and to the complexity involved in causal constructions. The analysis that we propose assumes that porque may have different interpretations depending on the context of use and may indicate the cause of an actual event, or the cause of a belief, or the cause of a speech act. We consider some theses of ontogenetic nature that support that the most cognitively complex meanings appear later, but we hold that there are other issues at stake. In what follows, we present evidence that the emergence of different causal relations with porque also takes place as a result of the operation of discourse genres.
