Techniques of image capture have advanced along with the technologies of information and communication and unthinkable numbers of information available and imagery are stored in digital environments. The objective of this study is point out difficulties found in the construction of imagetic representations of digital resources using the instruments available for the treatment of descriptive information. The results we have the mapping of descriptive elements to digital images derived from analyzing of the schemes to guide the construction of descriptive records (AACR2R, ISBD, Graphic Materials, RDA, CDWA, CCO) and the conceptual model FRBRer. The result of this analysis conducted the conceptual model, Functional Requirements for Digital Imagetic Data RFDID to the development of more efficient ways to represent the use of imagery in order to make it available, accessible and recoverable from the data persistence descriptive, flexibility, consistency and integrity as essential requirements for the representation of the digital image.

O significado da palavra democracia sempre esteve em disputa no Brasil, assim como em todo o mundo ocidental. Quando se criou o hábito de dizer que em 1945 o Brasil assistia a sua 'redemocratização' estava implícito que em precedência, quiçá antes de 1930, houvera um Brasil democrático. Aqui se procurava confundir a veste liberal da dominação oligárquica com democracia, até para que se legitimasse a persistência do poder oligárquico, sob as novas condições da revolução burguesa em andamento, na institucionalidade liberal-corporativa que foi implantada com a Constituição de 1946.

The practice of teaching is a complex, dynamic and challenging. Several obstacles are faced by educators, among them, excessive workload, classrooms with large numbers of students, reducing the support team manager etc. These experiences call into question the belief that such teachers have in their own ability to teach and motivate your students, including those with the greatest difficulties. Studies show that this belief, called self-efficacy, mediates the action of teachers and are related to the goals, persistence and motivation of teachers. The teacher self-efficacy is formed by direct experience, by observation, persuasion and psychophysiological states. The objective of the study is to identify aspects of the formation of self-efficacy teacher in-service teacher. This is a documentary study, after online search using the keywords memorials training and school as keywords, was found eight jobs at the State University of Campinas, two of which were dropped from the analysis due to not meeting the pre-established criteria. The data were organized into spreadsheets for analysis specifically designed for the study, considering the theoretical framework proposed by Bandura (1997) and Tschannen-Moran & Woolfolk Hoy (2001). The results indicate that family support throughout schooling, the role of teachers as models from basic education and teaching experiences are widely cited in memorials analyzed. These results offer from further reflections, indicating contribute to discussions on the formation and performance of teachers regarding the ability to teach, especially in the early years of elementary school

The carbonatic rocks have great importance in petroleum geology, since most hydrocarbons reservoirs in the world are associated to this kind of rock. The new giant petroleum fields discovered in the Brazilian southeast Atlantic margin are directly connected to calcareous rocks, which are subjacent to the Aptian evaporite pack. This demand an increase in the number of geologists able to study such deposits. The Aptian carbonatic platform is completely exposed only in the Sergipe-Alagoas Basin. Therefore, it works as a natural laboratory to the study and understanding of this kind of rock. The Sergipe Basin is situated in the east Brazilian coast, and has its evolutional history is intimately related to the formation of the South Atlantic Ocean, through the break-up of the Gondwana supercontinent. The marine sequence of the Brazilian marginal basins is of Albian age and is marked by the development of carbonatic platforms. In doing so, this paper aims to analyze the Albian limestones from Riachuelo Formation of the Sergipe Basin. The project gave to the student the opportunity to increase his knowledge in carbonates, due to the laboratory and outdoor activities. The studied deposits, within a regional outline, were petrografically described, allowing interpretations about the evolution of the former South Atlantic Ocean. Ten points were visited where samples were collected for making of thin sheets. In this work several carbonatic facies were identified totaling 116 laminates described.

Silver nanoparticles (Ag) were deposited on multi-walled carbon nanotube by eletroless. The hybrid Ag/MWCNT was used in the modification of glassy carbon electrode (GC) surface. The electrochemical characterization confirmed the presence of Ag in the nanocomposite has been showed that the synthesis was successful. The GC electrode modified with Ag/MWCNT film was evaluated for electro-oxidation of benzene. The electrochemical behavior presented an improvement on the catalytic surface in relation to non-modified GC electrode. The anodic peak current increased the magnitude in three times when compared with the CG electrode modified only with MWCNT

As patologias do segmento anterior e posterior dos olhos têm sido responsáveis pela perda de visão de grande número de pacientes. A liberação intra-ocular de fármacos é um aspecto extremamente importante nesses processos, uma vez que o maior problema na terapêutica com oftálmicos é atingir e manter concentrações eficazes de fármaco no local de ação por um período de tempo prolongado e com diminuição significativa da toxicidade. O cetorolaco de trometamina é um antiinflamatório não-esteróide, utilizado no tratamento de conjuntivites sazonais e na prevenção de inflamações decorrentes de cirurgias de catarata com ou sem implantação de lentes intraoculares. A grande vantagem na utilização dos antiinflamatórios não-esteroidais está em evitar os efeitos adversos severos que a administração frequente de antiinflamatórios esteróides induz. Sistemas transportadores de fármacos como os lipossomas têm permitido novas formas de tratamento, pois quando administrados por via tópica, subconjuntival ou diretamente no vítreo, permitem a redução da freqüência de administração, maior eficiência e comodidade para o paciente. Além disso, minimiza os efeitos colaterais de fármacos antiinflamatórios não esteróides e previne o aparecimento de doenças secundárias, como ocorre quando da utilização de corticóides no tratamento de doenças do globo ocular. Este trabalho tem como objetivo principal o estudo da encapsulação do cetorolaco de trometamina em lipossomas unilamelares de fosfatidilcolina de soja hidrogenada para administração intra-ocular do fármaco, visando o controle da liberação, aumento da biocompatibilidade e o estudo dos parâmetros de encapsulação. Para realização desse trabalho foram preparados lipossomas de fosfatidilcolina de soja hidrogenada, contendo diferentes concentrações de cetorolaco de trometamina, veiculado em tampão... Currently the use of pesticides in agriculture is widespread due to their high effectiveness in combating pests, weeds and diseases leading to better productivity and economical performance in agricultural area. The use of pesticides affects the whole world and their use is often performed in an improper and indiscriminate way and for long periods. Several studies have been carried out in order to verify the presence of pesticides in nature, with worrying results. The presence of higher levels of pesticides and their degradation products in soil and surface and groundwater have indicated increasing contamination. Among the most widely used pesticides, herbicides are present and among these trifluralin has occupied an important place due to its widespread use; it is an herbicide originated from benzene derivatives belonging to dinitroanilines family; it is classified as belonging to group C, being possibly carcinogenic for humans, present a high persistence in soil as a result of its low mobility and therefore may affect local edaphic fauna. Diplopods belong to a group of invertebrates considered important in the soil dynamics; due to their close contact with it, these animals can be used as bioindicators of substrates toxicity. This study aimed to expose diplopod specimens of the species R. padbergi to different concentrations of trifluralin and therefore it was mounted five bioassays containing soil from the site where animals were collected (control group) and the same soil mixed to different concentrations of trifluralin herbicide (concentration recommended for agriculture use, that is, the dose recommended by the producer 0.0534g/m2, double, haft and quarter of this dose), animals were exposed for 7 and 90 days. Recentemente, a temática ambiental tem sido caracterizada como um dos temas mais abrangentes, nesse sentido, o tema degradação ambiental tem se constituído em um problema tanto da geração que nos constituiu quanto da geração que nos sucederão. Podemos afirmar que o modelo de desenvolvimento econômico adotado em inúmeros paises, inclusive no Brasil, baseado no consumo e na exploração dos recursos naturais tem contribuído para a persistência dos problemas relacionados a degradação ambiental. Tendo em vista, esse contexto e a importância dos meios de comunicação em especial às revistas de divulgação científica. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo responder as seguintes questões norteadoras: Quais os problemas relacionados à temática ambiental, particularmente, os problemas relativos à degradação ambiental, são veiculados na Revista Ciência Hoje (CH)?Os temas e os problemas relativos à degradação ambiental são trabalhados de modo a contemplar as controvérsias socioambientais? Em caso positivo quais controvérsias socioambientais são veiculadas? Consistiram na investigação da abordagem da temática ambiental na Revista Ciência Hoje particularmente, os problemas relativos à degradação ambiental. A Ciência Hoje, criada em 1982, a partir do Projeto Ciência Hoje responsável pelas publicações de divulgação cientifica da Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência (SBPC) entidade civil sem fins lucrativos e que tem como objetivo promover o desenvolvimento tecnológico no Brasil. Dessa forma realizou-se uma pesquisa documental, cujo corpus documental foi constituído por 161 exemplares da CH publicados nos anos de 1990-2005. A metodologia utilizada na analise dos artigos da Revista foi a “Análise de Conteúdo” proposta por Bardin (1991). In this study we analyzed the influence of demographic parameters on the population dynamics of Tribolium castaneum, combining empiricism and population theory to analyze the different effects of environmental heterogeneity, by employing Ricker models, designed to study a two-patch system taking into account deterministic and stochastic analysis. Results were expressed by bifurcation diagrams and stochastic simulations. Dynamic equilibrium was widely investigated with results suggesting specific parametric spaces in response to environmental heterogeneity and migration. Population equilibrium patterns, synchrony and persistence in T. castaneum were discussed
