Motor Vehicle Crash Fatalities

Edad y crecimiento de Isacia conceptionis (Cuvier) en la zona de Ilo, 2009

Se realiza el estudio de edad y crecimiento de Isacia conceptionis “cabinza” basado en la interpretación de los anillos de crecimiento de los otolitos. Se utilizó una muestra de 752 pares de otolitos colectados en la zona de Ilo (17°S) en el 2009. La relación radio del otolito (mm) y longitud del pez (cm) fue de tendencia potencial positiva con un r2= 0,98. Se determinó el tiempo de formación de los anillos de crecimiento. Se elaboró una clave talla–edad y se obtuvieron los parámetros de crecimiento en longitud: Lt = 36,4*(1-e(-0,299*(t+0,542) ) ).

Sinopsis biológico-pesquera de la marucha Donax obesulus Reeve, 1854 en el litoral de Áncash (bahía Samanco), 2001-2009

Se analizó información biológica y pesquera de Donax obesulus procedente de bahía Samanco, Región Áncash obtenida entre el 2001 y 2009. Se procesaron muestras de capturas de la pesca comercial, prospecciones y evaluaciones poblacionales; se estimaron parámetros de crecimiento y poblacionales. La talla en las capturas comerciales varió de 6 a 34 mm en prospecciones y evaluaciones de 2 a 34 mm. Los parámetros de crecimiento estacional estimados en el 2009 fueron L∞ = 35,7 K = 1,00 y t0 = -0,30; registrando elevada tasa instantánea de mortalidad Z = 3,20 y tasa de renovación anual P/B = 3,22. El peso anual varió de 2,5 a 3,1 g; las densidades variaron de 111 a 3728 ind./ m2. El reclutamiento es anual con mayor intensidad en abril y mayo. La temperatura anual fue >19,0 °C, el oxígeno fue >4,81 mL/L, la salinidad varió de 35,061 a 35,198 ups.
