Geografía del turismo en España: una aproximación a la distribución espacial de la demanda turística y de la oferta de alojamiento

En este trabajo se analiza la evolución de la distribución geográfica del equipamiento turistico espado1 y las características de la corriente de visitantes. En la primera parte, para el estudio de las caracteristicas de la demanda, se ha utilizado la informacion referente al número de visitantes que entran en España y el número de pernoctaciones por provincias realizadas en 10s establecimientos hoteleros, por clientes extranjeros y españoles. Se ha constatado, como resultado de este análisis, el fuerte crecimiento de la corriente de visitantes en 10s últimos treinta años, el papel que desempenan cinco paises (Francia, Alemania, Reino Unido y Paises Bajos) como zonas de origen de 10s turistas, y la mayor concentración zonal de 10s destinos de 10s turistas extranjeros respecto a 10s turistas españoles. En cuanto a la evolución del equipamiento turistico, se ha utilizado la información referente a la capacidad de 10s hoteles, de 10s campings y de 10s apartamentos y residencias secundarias. El desarrollo del alojamiento turistico se ha caracterizado por su correspondencia temporal con la expansión de la demanda. Su crecimiento se ha canalizado, principalmente, hacia el eje mediterráneo y las provincias insulares, dando lugar a una distribución espacial de la oferta que contrasta con la existente en 1955. Esta fuerte concentración, que empieza a presentar síntomas de saturación en las zonas turísticas tradicionales, obedece a la Iógica del turismo de masas que demanda, como lugares de destino, zonas litorales y de clima cálido.

Los hogares de la población de nacionalidad extranjera en España en el año 2001

El artículo se centra en el análisis de las estructuras de los hogares de la población de nacionalidad extranjera en España utilizando los datos del censo de 2001. Se muestran unas disposiciones condicionadas por la aceleración de los flujos migratorios iniciada a finales del siglo pasado, con unas estructuras más complejas que las mostradas entre el total de la población. El análisis de la estructura del hogar puede ser utilizado para comprender tanto la etapa en la que se encuentran los diferentes procesos migratorios de cada nacionalidad, como las estrategias completamente diferentes de cada una de ellas.

Buenos libros, malas lectoras: la enfermedad moral de las mujeres del siglo XIX

El seu article parteix de l'afirmació que el destí de les dones al segle XIX està marcat, en la ficció, pel "bovarysme", malaltia que proposa que les dones s'emmalalteixen i moren perquè llegeixen malament. El treball analitza aquest problema de la "mala lectura" traçant un recorregut que va des de Fernán Caballero fins a Freud i es comenten alguns episodis de lectura que apareixen en la "Autobiografía" de Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda, Clemencia, Amalia, Madame Bovary, María, La regenta i El caso Dora. Her article departs from the statement that the destiny of women in the 19th century is determined, in fiction, by "bovarysm", an illness which proposes that women get sick and die because they read incorrectly. The work analyzes this problem of "bad reading" tracing a journey from Fernán Caballero to Freud, and comments on several episodes about the act of reading, from Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda's "Autobiography", Clemencia, Amalia, Madame Bovary, María, La Regenta and Dora's Case.
