Este artículo analiza la situación de la formación de formadores en Cataluña, desde la implantación de la LOGSE hasta hoy. Una descripción del modelo de formación permanente del profesorado que se ha venido aplicando desde entonces y un análisis del modelo de formadores y formadoras que se ha ido desarrollando, constituyen el contexto de los retos que se plantean actualmente en la formación de formadores. A partir del análisis de las opiniones de los formadores y formadoras actuales, de sus necesidades, de sus fortalezas, de sus reflexiones, se elabora un perfil de formador, que trasciende al experto transmisor de conocimientos y se dibuja como el formador reflexivo, experto en procesos de innovación, que acompaña y dinamiza la formación y el desarrollo de los equipos docentes. Se esbozan las competencias específicas que requiere este profesional, las funciones y tareas que deben asumir y las líneas que pueden orientar su formación.

Nuestra intención y objetivo ha sido establecer un diálogo con profesores de la enseñanza secundaria Obligatoria (ESO) con la finalidad de comprender, analizar e interpretar sus pensamientos, ideas, acciones y opiniones en relación a los supuestos básicos de las reformas educativas y el fracaso escolar. Hemos realizado dicho diálogo desde una perspectiva tanto sincrónica como diacrónica y, a este efecto, el profesorado participante cumple el requisito de llevar más de 30 años en activo. Esta perspectiva sincrónica/diacrónica nos ha permitido rastrear el pensamiento y la experiencia vivida, de modo transversal, a través de las reformas educativas desde la postura profesional del ¿hoy¿. En este contexto, hemos valorado el conocimiento y experiencia acumulada de aquellos profesionales que iniciaron sus carreras en plena etapa predemocrática y que han vivido todos los cambios como un valor añadido.

L'article fa un recorregut històric pels plans de formació permanent del professorat d'infantil, primària i secundària a Catalunya. Centra l'anàlisi de l'evolució de la formació permanent en el tractament que els diferents plans de formació han fet de la figura del formador de formadors. Aquest element permet anar establint els aspectes que han suposat els moments de canvi. Es veu el progressiu distanciament de la formació de les universitats i la creixent institucionalització dels plans de formació. També s'exposa la dicotomia entre els objectius que es plantegen i l'escassa preparació i consideració que els plans atorguen a aquests professionals, deixant en un limbe poc definit les funcions, responsabilitats i atribucions que se'ls atorga.

Aquest article exposa els resultats d¿un estudi descriptiu, realitzat el 2003, sobre els canvis que presenten els plantejaments actuals de la formació en les organitzacions. L'anàlisi dels treballs nacionals i estrangers significatius en el camp va permetre identificar les àrees d'interès sobre les quals se centra l¿estudi. S'ha utilitzat com a estratègia de recollida d'informació l'entrevista a informants clau. Per això es va seleccionar una mostra representativa d¿empreses de Catalunya que tinguessin experiència en formació dintre de la seva política de recursos humans. Es va prendre en consideració per a la mostra les variables de la grandària de l'empresa i el sector productiu. Els resultats de la investigació han posat de manifest el present i les tendències en les dimensions que s'han considerat rellevants per a l¿anàlisi. S'assenyalen aquells canvis que semblen apuntar-se en un futur immediat en aspectes com la planificació de la formació, els seus objectius, modalitats, recursos, avaluació i, com a resultat en certa mesura de tot això, les competències desitjables i el perfil professional vinculat a les funcions i responsabilitats del director o gestor de la formació en les organitzacions.

Molta és la recerca historicopedagògica contemporània que s"ha ocupat d"estudiar el moviment ideològic que emmarcà l"evolució educativa del segle XIX i primer terç del segle XX. Cada cop es fan més evidents els lligams establerts entre Madrid i Catalunya al llarg d"aquest període. Diverses publicacions i recerques posen de relleu la influència de l"idealisme krausista a Catalunya. Així, en aquest article, s"afaiçona que a Catalunya hi hagué un nucli d"intel·lectuals krausistes mentre que es constata a Madrid la presència de catalans institucionistes.

Gammarus aequicauda and Sphaeroma hookeri are the most abundant macroinvertebrates on Ruppia cirrhosa (1275 and 1290 individuals.m-2) and Potamogeton pectinatus (140 and 680 individuals. m-2) in Tancada lagoon, a Mediterranean coastal lagoon in the Ebro Delta (NE Spain). Consumption and assimilation efficiencies were calculated from bell jar experiments. Gammarus grazing effects are higher than Sphaeroma on both Ruppia cirrhosa and Potamogeton pectinatus. Green Ruppia leaves lost 0.3 mg per mg Gammarus per day, while Potamogeton leaves lost 0.2 mg per mg Gammarus per day. Decomposing Ruppia leaves lost 0.35-0.54 mg per mg Gammarus per day. Losses of weight by both Ruppia and Potamogeton due to Sphaeroma feeding were less than half those by Gammarus. Assimilation efficiencies are higher for Gammarus (44-78% feeding on Ruppia 2% feeding on Potamogeton) than for Sphaeroma (26-48%) feeding on Ruppia). These assimilation efficiencies were higher than those reported by other authors working at higher latitudes perhaps because of the higher temperature under which the experiments were carried out.

Coastal lagoons where salinity varies within a wide range during the year are colonized by euryhaline macrophytes which can develop extensive beds. Seasonal changes in biomass of Ruppia cirrhosa and Potamogeton pectinatus were studied in Tancada Lagoon (Ebro Delta, NE Spain) in order to reveal the environmental factors controlling their population development. Ruppia cirrhosa occupy a larger area of the lagoon than Potarnogeton pectinatus. Their maximum above ground biomasses are also different (495 g m-2 and 351 g m-2 ash free dry weight, respectively). Below ground biomass of Ruppia cirrhosa is between 9 and 53 % of the above ground biomass, while it is 3-40 % for Potamogeton pectinatus. Chlorophyll a contents show fluctuations similar to biomass. Low salinity and high turbidity caused by freshwater inflows favour Potamogeton expansion, while Ruppia development is favoured by high salinity and transparent water.

The decomposition process of Ruppia cirrhosa was studied in a Mediterranean coastal lagoon in the Delta of the River Ebro (NE Spain). Leaves and shoots of Ruppia were enclosed in 1 mm-mesh and 100 pm-mesh litter bags to ascertain the effect of detritivores, macroinvertebrates, and bacteria and fungi, respectively. Changes in biomass and carbon, and, nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations in the detritus were studied at the sediment-water interface and in the sediment. Significant differences in biomass decay were observed between the two bag types. Significant differences in decomposition were observed between the two experimental conditions studied using 100 pm-mesh bags. These differences were not significant when using the 1 mm-mesh bags. The carbon content in the detritus remained constant during the decomposition process. The percentage of nitrogen increased progressively from an initial 2.4 % to 3 %. The percentage of phosphorus decreased rapidly during the first two days of decomposition from an initial 0.26 % to 0.17 %. This loss is greater in the sediment than in the water column or at the sediment-water interface. From these results we deduce that the activity of microorganisms seems to be more important in the sediment than in the water-sediment interface, and that grazing by macroinvertebrates has less importance in the sediment than in the water column.

Visual scuba diving censuses were used to assess the effects of fishing prohibition on abundance and size structure of littoral fish populations by comparing the same benthic communities inside and outside the protected area of Medes Islands (NE Catalonia, Spain). The total number of species found was 43 in the reserve and 44 outside, but the mean value of species richness per sampling station was significantly higher in the protected area. However, diversity, heavily affected by the presence or absence of large schools of pelagic species, showed no significant differences between sites. The prohibition of fishing for 6 years is the first factor affecting the qualitative and quantitative structure of fish populations ('reserve effect'), and depth is the second factor. Thus, except in the cases of Serranus cabrilla and Mullus surmuletus, all other vulnerable species are highly sensitive to the protection measures. The size structure of all vulnerable species was found to be absolutely different at the reserve sites than in the unprotected zones, and the modal size classes of size frequency distributions were always higher in the reserve than outside. The reserve effect was significantly responsible of the differences observed in this change on size structure. Some highly vulnerable species, such as Epinephelus guaza and Sciaena umbra, have only been found in the protected area. Others, such as Sparus aurata, Diplodus cervinus and Dicentrarchus labrax, were much more frequent inside the reserve.

We formulate a new mixing model to explore hydrological and chemical conditions under which the interface between the stream and catchment interface (SCI) influences the release of reactive solutes into stream water during storms. Physically, the SCI corresponds to the hyporheic/riparian sediments. In the new model this interface is coupled through a bidirectional water exchange to the conventional two components mixing model. Simulations show that the influence of the SCI on stream solute dynamics during storms is detectable when the runoff event is dominated by the infiltrated groundwater component that flows through the SCI before entering the stream and when the flux of solutes released from SCI sediments is similar to, or higher than, the solute flux carried by the groundwater. Dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and nitrate data from two small Mediterranean streams obtained during storms are compared to results from simulations using the new model to discern the circumstances under which the SCI is likely to control the dynamics of reactive solutes in streams. The simulations and the comparisons with empirical data suggest that the new mixing model may be especially appropriate for streams in which the periodic, or persistent, abrupt changes in the level of riparian groundwater exert hydrologic control on flux of biologically reactive fluxes between the riparian/hyporheic compartment and the stream water.

Egesta of a cave-dwelling mysid (Hemimysis speluncola Ledoyer, 1963) was studied in a submarine cave of Medes Islands, NW Mediterranean by in situ fecal pellet collecting. Fecal pellet production and gut fullness of mysids during incubation experiments are used to estimate mysid egestion rates. Intrinsic factors related with the natural history of this species such as population structure, density of mysids, daily rhythms and pellet decomposition rates are tested for their influence on the egestion rate. The effects of methodological artifacts, such as the stress induced by both incubation and preservation procedures, are also studied. An average mysid egests about 2.5 pellets per day into the cave. The time of day is the main factor affecting egestion. The highest deposition rate is between 2 to 4 hours after sunrise when about 38 % of the total daily pellet production becomes egested. Fecal pellet morphology changes with mysid demographic classes: immature mysids produce slender and thick pellets, whereas mature mysids produce only thick pellets. Immature classes show higher percentages of full guts than mature ones. Mysid density in the incubators does not affect the results on gut fullness, but it causes a decrease in the number of pellets collected after incubation. Coprorhexia seems to be the only plausible process to explain this paradox. The incubation procedure does not increase deposition rate significantly. Time of incubation is critical because the half-life of fecal pellets is about 2.5 hours. Fixation with liquid nitrogen decreases gut fullness and also deposition rates. Higher values are obtained with 70 % ethanol and 5 % formalin solutions which show very similar results for both gut fullness and pellet deposition rates. Nevertheless, ethanol is not suitable as fixative because it enhances the opacity of the body. Several suggestions are given in order to optimize the reliability of further in situ experiments for evaluation of egesta of Hemimysis speluncola in submarine caves.

Sediment-water exchanges of oxygen, ammonium, nitrate, total dissolved nitrogen, phosphate and total dissolved phosphorus were measured by means of an in situ incubator of 7 1 volume and 700 cm2 base area. The incubations lasted for three hours and were done over a whole season on different kinds of sediments in Alfaques Bay. We present some preliminary results on: i) methodological aspects, ii) spatial and temporal variability of fluxes, and iii) estimates of contribution of benthic nutrient regeneration relative to total nutrient loading of the Bay. Oxygen uptake averaged 1700 mmo1 m-2 h-1 (range 200-3500); no differences were found between sandy and muddy sediments. The release of ammonia from the sediment averaged 70 mmo1 m-2 h-1 and was higher in muddy sediments than in sandy ones. Very low to null nitrate and nitrite fluxes and only small fluxes of organic nitrogen were detected. We conclude that ammonium release from sediment is the major path of nitrogen regeneration. Some sediments removed dissolved reactive phosphorus (DRP) from the water and released dissolved organic phosphorus (DOP). Additional manipulative experiments revealed DRP release under particular conditions (turbulence, anoxia). From these data, we estimate that at least 50% of the nitrogen requirements of phytoplankton in the area may be supplied by benthic remineralization.

Aquest treball és un intent d´actualitzar i sistematitzar les dades algològiques que es posseeixen referents al nostre país. Aquestes dades han estat obtingudes de la bibliografia existent, incloent-hi també nombroses observacions personals inèdites. La sistemàtica utilitzada ha estat, bàsicament, la proposada per PARKE i DIXON (1976). La distribució geogràfica de les espècies s'especifica en funció del reticle UTM. En aquest moment són 403 (28 Cyanophyta, 220 Rhodophyta, 69 Phaeophyta, 85 Chlorophyta i 1 Chrysophyta) les espècies que es coneixen a les costes del Principat.

Los deseos de tipificación y clasificación de las masas de agua dulce han llevado a establecer una tipología tipos de biótopos acuáticos, tipos biológicos de lagos y, al observar la mayor frecuencia con que ciertos tipos se presentan en determinadas regiones por razones climáticas, edáficas (geológicas) y, en menor grado, morfológicas a la llamada limnología regional.
