Relatório EPE - Relatório de estágio em Educação Pré-Escolar: O presente relatório de estágio de qualificação profissional, elaborado no âmbito da formação da mestranda em Educação Pré-Escolar, visa a descrição e reflexão da ação educativa desenvolvida ao longo deste processo formativo, explanando, também, as competências profissionais e pessoais construídas pela mesma. Este perspetiva a mobilização de pressupostos teóricos e legais que fundamentaram a prática pedagógica da mestranda, com recurso a estratégias que visam uma educação inclusiva e equitativa, atendendo às características das crianças, encaradas como co-construtoras das suas aprendizagens. Com base numa visão socioconstrutivista, são apresentadas as perspetivas pedagógicas que se propuseram a dar resposta às necessidades e interesses evidenciados, tendo em consideração a capacidade de pensar e agir no contexto educativo em que foi desenvolvido o estágio. Assim, revelou-se fundamental o recurso ao método de investigação-ação, em que o educador é investigador da sua ação, sendo um profissional crítico e reflexivo, que está aberto à mudança. Este relatório pretende dar a conhecer as técnicas e estratégias utilizadas para alcançar os objetivos e desafios propostos todos os dias, tendo em vista a melhoria da praxis educativa desenvolvida pela mestranda, conforme os dados observados, recolhidos e analisados. Procurase, também, expressar as suas aprendizagens, pensar sobre as mesmas e como estas influenciaram a prática profissional. O educador de infância deve manter uma postura atenta em relação ao grupo de crianças com quem exerce a sua profissionalidade, intervindo de forma adequada e ponderada e, assim, desenvolvendo competências pessoais e profissionais. Considerando os princípios apresentados no perfil geral de desempenho profissional do educador de infância, este deve realizar formação ao longo da vida e avaliar constantemente a sua ação e adaptá-la, conduzindo a uma flexibilidade na tomada de decisões.

PNAES : uma análise da implementação da política de assistência estudantil no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Brasília

Inequalities and agencies in workplace learning experiences: international student perspectives

National systems of vocational education and training around the globe are facing reform driven by quality, international mobility, and equity. Evidence suggests that there are qualitatively distinctive challenges in providing and sustaining workplace learning experiences to international students. However, despite growing conceptual and empirical work, there is little evidence of the experiences of these students undertaking workplace learning opportunities as part of vocational education courses. This paper draws on a four-year study funded by the Australian Research Council that involved 105 in depth interviews with international students undertaking work integrated learning placements as part of vocational education courses in Australia. The results indicate that international students can experience different forms of discrimination and deskilling, and that these were legitimised by students in relation to their understanding of themselves as being an ‘international student’ (with fewer rights). However, the results also demonstrated the ways in which international students exercised their agency towards navigating or even disrupting these circumstances, which often included developing their social and cultural capital. This study, therefore, calls for more proactively inclusive induction and support practices that promote reciprocal understandings and navigational capacities for all involved in the provision of work integrated learning. This, it is argued, would not only expand and enrich the learning opportunities for international students, their tutors, employers, and employees involved in the provision of workplace learning opportunities, but it could also be a catalyst to promote greater mutual appreciation of diversity in the workplace.

Conclusion - internationalization with VET character: key emerging issues

This volume has highlighted the complexities of offering vocational education and training across national borders, the nature and forms of internationalization of VET in different contexts and the impacts of mobility on educational work in the distinctive context of VET. In this chapter, we summarize the key issues as addressed by the authors in this volume and we note areas for further study and research. Emerging issues include the lack of comparable, system-wide and timely data on VET systems and students; the limited research on VET systems and the apparent lower status of VET for researchers and indeed for families seeking educational opportunities; the conjunction of withdrawal of funding for higher education in developed countries with the need for rapid training of technical and vocational workers in developing nations. Finally, authors in this volume consider the hegemonic aspects of English as the preferred language of training across many countries. The chapter also highlights the need for further research on the practices, trends, tensions and innovation in international VET and on the motivations of the students who undertake it and the teachers who provide the training.

A motivação dos docentes no ensino superior face ao processo de Bolonha: um estudo de caso

Este trabalho pretende estudar a motivação dos docentes da licenciatura de radioterapia da Escola Superior de Tecnologias da Saúde de Lisboa, face ao processo de Bolonha. Realizou-se um enquadramento teórico dos conceitos base, como motivação e processo de Bolonha. O estudo foi definido como um estudo de caso, com uma amostra de 3 elementos. Aplicou-se três entrevistas a cada um dos entrevistados, denominadas por entrevista, entrevista reflexiva e entrevista reflexiva aprofundada. Para a análise dos dados utilizou-se um software de análise de conteúdo -AQUAD 6.0. Os resultados são apresentados em forma de tabelas e segmentos de texto extraídos do software. Na discussão dos resultados verifica-se que de uma forma geral os resultados vão ao encontro da literatura existente e nas considerações finais respondem-se às questões de investigação inicialmente realizadas, mas também são apresentadas as limitações ao estudo, bem como futuras investigações. ABSTRACT: lt is intended with this work to study the motivation of the radiotherapy graduated professors of the Higher School of Health Technology of Lisbon, regarding the Bologna process. lt was performed a theoretical frame of reference of the basic concepts such as motivation and the Bologna Process. The study was defined as a case study, with a sample of three elements. Three interviews were performed to each interviewed person, defined as interview, reflexive interview and deepened reflexive interview. For the data analysis it was used a content analysis software - AQUAD 6.0. The results are presented in table form and with text sectors obtained from the software. ln the discussion of the results one comes to the conclusion that, in general, they match the available literary writings and in the final reflexions it is answered to the investigation questions initially asked but also presented the study limitations as well as future investigations.
