Cultura da Wikipédia como Política de capacitação compartilhada em meio digital de socialização do conhecimento

Presents a developing laboratory within History of Culture, subject taught in the Library and Archive Studies at UNESP (Marilia). The project is based upon the foundations of research line Information and Technology: students from the second under graduation year participate in the improving of 27 entries in Portuguese language Wikipedia. The aim is to capacitate for scientific reading and writing in digital media, habilitate for the information identification and recuperation and for the interpretation and understanding of formal and contents aspects and its reorganization. It includes activities of search, selection, remix and republishing of texts, images, audio and videos in the convergence of diverse hypertext information sources, supported by tutors with strategic abilities in digital environments. In this sense it was adhered to the international Wikipedia Foundation University Campus Ambassadors project. It’s also aimed to induce sharing and collaboration behaviors with the purpose of creating necessary habits for the informational empowerment in Brazil. As methodology is to optimize the work of individuals already trained in wiki culture and to create in within the subject information sharing programs with a more specialized bias, giving greater credibility to the digital environment. The environment syntaxes helps in the learning of the complementary skills of reading and writing and offers itself as an open repository from which information can be reused. It is, thus, an empowerment strategy in the search of autonomy and self reliance considering intersemiotic knowledge in the edition, visualization and understanding of information in the social web. A second step of a verifying research on the environment’s credibility after the consolidation and dissemination of the entries improvement work is proposed.

A hora dos intelectuais : literatura, política e engajamento no Brasil (1964-1967)

The resistance to the military dictatorship in Brazil (1964-1985) had many faces, especially among intellectuals. This article will discuss the activity of some writers and journalists in the process of articulation as leftist intellectuals in opposition to the military regime, as "cultural resistance" in various forms assumed in the context of politicization of culture and cultural goods market in the mid 1960´s.

Cultura organizacional: uma análise da microempresa familiar informal

Analyze possible relationships between the bankruptcy and the family structure of informal micro-enterprises in Fortaleza city, Brazil. The analysis began with a research among micro-entrepreneurs who were beneficiaries of PROFITEC loans in bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy situation in 1997-1999 period. Evaluate whether the overlap of family and professional relationship inside the organizational structure of those micro-enterprises is a factor leading to bankruptcy. The comparative analysis divides the micro-enterprises into two groups: one that which had complied with the loan obligations (abiding firms) and another which had not (non-abiding firms). The analysis pointed out the familiar structure as having positive and negative influences over organizational work in both groups. The research also realized that those groups of family informal micro-enterprises do not recognize the professional problems related to the family, giving room for managerial conflicts related to the compliance, work time and use of profit. We cannot say that family structure of the informal microenterprises is the decisive cause for non-abidance, since there are also family firms which have the same disadvantages of both groups, but are complying with their obligations. The personal relationships in the informal family firms, however, define good practices and behaviors that definitely affect their operations.

Arquivo e literatura: perspectivas de acesso e difusão da memória literária no Brasil

Besides storing, the culture and science institutions in charge of the of Brazilian writers’ personal archives play such an important role on the organization and representation of the country’s literary information. In general, the target public for these collections is composed by researchers from the field of Literature once the documents produced by the writers throughout his/her life and career constitute primary research source for the artistic, historical and literary investigation. However, it is still convenient to stand out those users with no academic instruction, whose interest in such collections is justified by their looking up to the individual. In this sense, literary memory places, such as the Brazilian Literature Archive Museum – AMLB (RJ) -, the Brazilian Literature Academy – ABL – (RJ) and the Brazilian Studies Institute – IEB – (SP) turn out to be responsible for offering access to the literary archives and literary information. Thus, it is necessary to consider that databases demonstrate themselves as utter disseminators of the preservation and diffusion of the literary memory, coming up with several possibilities for cultural and scientific action in Literature. This study focuses on showing the contributions of databases towards the literary archives, the challenges and perspectives observed according to the mentioned institutions’ reality, in whose missions the discourse of the literary memory preservation is inserted.

Cultura, diferença e (des)igualdade

What for some is cultural difference, can be expression of social inequality for others. The disputes and confusions over this question do not occur accidentally and have, obviously, serious political consequences. Based on two examples – Candomblé and the racial relations in Brazil –, this essay proposes to deepen the theoretical reflection on three concepts – culture, difference and (in)equality – which is, according to the author, fundamental if we want to comprehend some of the crucial current problems of our world and thus take position in it hopefully more competently.

O crédito imobiliário no Brasil

Nos últimos oito anos, o Brasil apresenta elevada atividade econômica e, destacadamente, os setores da construção civil e do crédito imobiliário demonstram elevado crescimento. Entretanto, diferentemente da recente dinâmica do setor e da economia brasileira, a história do setor da habitação no país é marcada por dificuldades de acesso ao crédito imobiliário para a aquisição e construção de moradias, situação a qual resultou no elevado déficit habitacional existente, nas desigualdades e outros fatores excludentes que a própria situação impõe, principalmente, pelo desenvolvimento do mercado de crédito imobiliário não ter sido capaz de acompanhar o crescimento da população e a urbanização brasileira nas últimas décadas. Este trabalho procura detalhar os diferentes momentos do crédito imobiliário no país o qual, por sua vez, teve inicio em meados dos anos 60 através de iniciativas públicas na estruturação do Sistema Financeiro de Habitação. Posteriormente, durante a década de 70, houve elevada expansão do financiamento de aquisição e construção de moradias no país, contudo, em decorrência dos desequilíbrios macroeconômicos e do próprio sistema que se acentuaram final dos anos 70 e início dos 80, a atividade de crédito imobiliário apresentou retração nas décadas posteriores, ou seja, durante a década de 80 e 90. Paralelamente ao financiamento habitacional, a década de 90 foi marcada pela execução de reformas macroeconômicas que, posteriormente, possibilitaram o controle inflacionário e a maior previsibilidade econômica no país. Adicionalmente, no final da década, estruturou-se um novo sistema denominado Sistema de Financiamento juntamente com a adoção do Regime de Metas de Inflação e a Lei de Responsabilidade Fiscal.
