This is the report from the Lune, Wyre and Furness Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, which was held on the 10th April 1980. The report contains the minutes of previous meetings, information regarding rod and line licence duties, the pipeline project by British Gas Corporation, fisheries byelaws, a survey of goosanders and mergansers and information on Pedder Pots reservoir. It also includes the report by the area fisheries officer which looks at river conditions and fishing, an update on Middleton Hatchery and the cage rearing of smolts for the River Leven. It also covers stockings carried out by Angling Associations, U.D.N. fish disease and monthly salmon and sea trout catches for the 1979 season. It includes the information on the recommendations of the Area Fisheries Advisory Committees on the Review of Inland and Coastal Fisheries in England and Wales, and the restructuring of rod and line fishing licence duties. It also covers the report by the area fisheries officer on fisheries activities between March and August 1981. O presente estudo procura estabelecer critérios para orientar as decisões sobre conflitos surgidos entre os verdadeiros proprietários de imóveis e terceiros de boa-fé. A partir da evolução do conceito de propriedade, do individualismo liberal da era moderna ao feixe de direitos, deveres e poderes jurídicos de uma relação jurídica complexa nos dias atuais, destaca-se a importância do registro de imóveis e da publicidade que lhe é inerente para a segurança das transações imobiliárias e a proteção de interesses individuais e coletivos. Considerando a prevalência dos valores existenciais sobre os patrimoniais e tendo por referência o princípio supremo da dignidade da pessoa humana, são sugeridos, como critérios de ponderação, a posse e a função social da propriedade, a boa-fé, a usucapião e a teoria da aparência. Examina-se, assim, a possibilidade de flexibilizar a norma que faculta ao proprietário o direito de reivindicar o imóvel independentemente da boa-fé do terceiro adquirente, se o registro for cancelado, discutindo-se ainda as soluções encontradas pela doutrina e pela jurisprudência para o problema proposto.

This is the report from the Regional Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, which was held on the 20th May, 1985. The report contains sections on fishing licence duties in 1986, lead poisoning in swans, Authority investigations into acidity problems in rivers in Cumbria, fishing offences processed, Fish Counter statistics, and the fisheries liaison meeting report. The section on Authority investigations into acidity problems in rivers in Cumbria pays attention on investigations carried out by the University of Lancaster and Freshwater Biological Association about acidity problems, particularly in the Rivers Duddon and Esk since 1980. This section contains biological findings, a chemical sampling programme, results from continuous pH monitors, and catchment liming.
