As contribuições do método fônico nos anos iniciais de alfabetização

Este trabalho tem como objetivo descrever quais são as contribuições do Método Fônico para a alfabetização nas séries iniciais do ensino fundamental. Serão apresentadas e explicadas duas vertentes específicas do Método Fônico, o método criado por Fernando Capovilla, chamado de Método Fônico e o criado por Renata Savastano Jardini, denominado Método das Boquinhas. Também são apresentadas atividades que foram utilizadas em um projeto de extensão universitária e que tiveram como base esses métodos, como forma de ilustrar as possibilidades que ambos fornecem aos professores para trabalhar com crianças que apresentam defasagem em seu processo de alfabetização. O trabalho será realizado mediante pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. Considera-se esse tema, bem como suas possibilidades de uso em sala de aula, relevante no contexto educacional nacional

Os saberes docentes no projeto pedagógico do curso de pedagogia

A formação inicial de professores tem sido discutida na literatura, abordando questões e aspectos que possibilitam refletir sobre os elementos julgados imprescindíveis na preparação docente. Neste processo questiona-se a missão da Universidade como lugar de formação, as pesquisas que relatam que os estudantes tendem a passar pela Universidade sem mudarem as suas crenças de quando eram alunos vinculados a questão do ser professor. Estes estudantes/alunos tendem a valorizar, na maioria das vezes, os saberes da experiência vinculados a dimensão afetiva não os re-significando com relação ao conhecimento adquirido na formação universitária. Portanto, emerge dessa constatação um problema no qual se tem um discurso e uma prática com relação à construção da identidade desse professor e os saberes que fundamentam esse processo identitário. De forma que este trabalho procurou identificar os saberes docentes propostos para a formação dos professores do curso de Pedagogia da UNESP - Campus Rio Claro, apontando o lugar que estes ocupam e considerando que os estudantes tendem a valorizar as suas experiências enquanto alunos (crenças). Optou-se pela pesquisa qualitativa, utilizando-se como técnicas a fonte documental e a análise de conteúdo. Através da análise do Projeto Político Pedagógico observou-se que a formação tem a docência como base da identidade desse professor e que os fundamentos educacionais e didáticos percorrem uma proposta de perspectiva disciplinar. Porém, as disciplinas que fundamentam a prática de ensino e a prática do ensino são pouquissimas, revelando uma lacuna desse processo. Porém, lacuna maior é o conjunto das disciplinas de estágio serem de 315 horas e não de 400 horas como o é nas demais licenciaturas. A ginástica na educação física escolar de estudantes universitários da Universidade Estadual Paulista/Campus de Rio Claro

Gymnastics is a manifestation of body culture, which has a number of fields (SOUZA, 1997): competition, demonstration, physical conditioning, body awareness and rehabilitation, providing a wide range of knowledge to be presented in physical education. But according to studies conducted by Nista- Piccolo (1988), Polito (1998), Barbosa (1999), Paoliello (2001), Ayoub (2003), Schiavon; Piccolo (2006) knowledge involving gymnastics has been tentatively applied in school. Therefore it is intended to research investigating the experiences of students with gymnastic contents of Physical Education, Universidade Estadual Paulista / Campus Rio Claro. Aiming at the students' perception regarding fitness classes they had in Physical Education. Participated in the survey 133 undergraduate students of Physical Education. Grupo Ginástico UNESP: contribuições da Ginástica para Todos na formação de seus participantes

Gymnastics for all or General Gymnastics is a gymnastic body practice without competitive purposes, demonstrative character that combines the basics of gymnastics with different forms of body language. It is a pleasurable physical activity and inclusive, within the gymnastic possibilities offers great opportunities for participation of people, creativity, cooperation and human values experiences (AYOUB, 2003). Within this proposal is, in 2011, the Gymnastic Group UNESP, under the guidance and coordination of teachers Laurita Marconi Schiavon e Silvia Deustch as a project of university extension of the Department of Physical Education, Biosciences Institute of the São Paulo State University / Campus Rio Claro - SP. His working method and choreographic composition based on the proposal of the Gymnastic Group Unicamp, reference in this body practice in Brazil, and their course is in two parts: one for the exploration of all the resources that the teaching materials can provide and the other focused on social interaction of its participants. Therefore the research developed in this study aimed to verify contributions of the participation of members in Gymnastic Group Unesp vocational training thereof, and to verify the relationship and the approach of the members with Gym. The methodological approach adopted for this qualitative research is descriptive, and quantitative and qualitative data collected through questionnaires. The participants were 32 students from different courses at the University, and members of Gymnastic Unesp Group from 2011 to 2013, with the inclusion criteria: 1. minimum of one year of participation in Gymnastic Group Unesp; 2. Minimum of two performances of choreography in events with that group. A experiência da saúde coletiva na formação profissional: retrato da extensão universitária

The guidelines of National Curriculum for Dental courses highlights the necessity in providing for the professional the ability to analyze and assess community’s problems and needs, and to create solutions for the society. The continuing education may be considered a useful tool for the teaching and learning because it favors the diversification of learning environments, which allows the insertion of undergraduate and graduate students into the real scenarios. This current study aimed to assess the Public Health projects and programs of the UNESP – Araçatuba Dental School, by describing the interaction experiences between faculty and health services in the professional career development. Historical, documentary and descriptive searches were performed based on the faculty archives such as official documents, reports, databases from the Pro-rector of continuing education and published papers in the period between 1964 and 2011. The following experiences were noted: the Extra-Muro Dental Service (SEMO), established in 1964, that focused in providing dental treatment to the rural population, highlighted the social inclusion of discriminated society groups since that time. In 1972, this service was expanded to several specific populations living in the urban areas. In the '60s, many educational campaigns were performed as homemade water filter and construction of wells and septic tanks which demonstrate the concern with the determinants of healthdisease process. At that time, the campaign of fluoridation of public water supplies in several counties started as Araçatuba, Birigui, Penápolis, Guararapes, Valparaíso and so on. The Campaign of “Good Teeth” from the '70s became wider over time and it was transformed in the "Oral Health Education Program" and it was continuously developed in all public schools of Araçatuba and some neighboring towns, benefiting children aged from 6 to 10 years-old. Several epidemiological studies of caries, periodontal diseases, malocclusion and fluorosis were conducted in cooperation with local governments, and counted with the participation of undergraduate and graduate students. Pereira Barreto – SP was the precursor city in Brazil to carry out fluorosis study. Currently, 12 projects of Public Health from the Institution of Higher Education in the Pro-rector of continuing education are being developed. The concern in qualifying the human resources in health is confirmed with the development of training courses and workshops for professionals, highlighting the training for people enrolled in the Family Health program; Community Health Agent training - Solidarity University, and Municipal Health Counselors training. The Graduate Program in Social and Preventive Dentistry, created in 1993, has an important role to train several professionals for the Unified Health System, and provides education to create researchers, professors and administrators, and enucleates research groups in several Brazilian states. In all activities showed herein, a dynamic participation of undergraduate and graduate students has been observed, and several books, guidelines, articles, brochures and booklets have been published as a result of the continuing education activities.. It was concluded that different projects and programs have been developed by the Public Health of UNESP –Araçatuba Dental School, which allow the exchange of experience between the university and health services, and benefit all participants enrolled in these activities.
