A (des)construção da imagem do sujeito professor na mídia: evidências da materialização de valores sociais

The main objective of this study focuses on investigate how the style of the Conhecimento Prático Língua Portuguesa magazine, from Escala publisher, reveals a materialization, in its wordings, of social values that surround our society regarding the teaching class. Besides, we thought about the construction of an other - teacher - by means of the I speech (the enunciator). Furthermore, we reflected on how happens the genre opinion article handling and whether there is, when aimed to the teaching class. All these questions were discussed under the perspective of Bakhtin's theory, focusing our analysis in the wording notions, dialogism, style and speech genres. Our analysis indicates a materialization of social values in syntactic issues and a hybridization of genres when the addressee is a teacher

Este artigo procura resumir a hipótese da «instância da imagem ao vivo» a partir da descrição da natureza do espaço público, entendido aqui como um ambiente comunicacional, mais que institucional ou jurídico. A instância da imagem ao vivo é apresentada não como sendo a imagem ao vivo em si mesma, mas o plano de representação em que ela se inscreve, plano este que se põe como o principal fator de unificação do espaço público em seu sentido mais amplo. Segundo a presente hipótese, as novas possibilidades tecnológicas da era digital não revogam esse plano: apenas o revigoram à medida que o problematizam

DESENVOLVIMENTO E AVALIAÇÃO DE ELETRODOS DE DIFUSÃO GASOSA (EDG) PARA GERAÇÃO DE H2O2 IN SITU E SUA APLICAÇÃO NA DEGRADAÇÃO DO CORANTE REATIVO AZUL 19

DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF GAS DIFFUSION ELECTRODES (GDE) FOR GENERATION OF H2O2 IN SITU AND THEIR APPLICATION IN THE DEGRADATION OF REACTIVE BLUE 19 DYE. This work reports the development of GDE for electrogeneration of H2O2 and their application in the degradation process of Reactive Blue 19 dye. GDE produced by carbon black with 20% polytetrafluoroethylene generated up to 500 mg L-1 of H2O2 through the electrolysis of acidic medium at -0.8 V vs Ag/AgCl. Reactive Blue 19 dye was degraded most efficiently with H2O2 electrogenerated in the presence of Fe(II) ions, leading to removal of 95% of the original color and 39% of TOC at -0.8 V vs Ag/AgCl.

Application of the log-conformation tensor to three-dimensional time-dependent free surface flows

The numerical simulation of flows of highly elastic fluids has been the subject of intense research over the past decades with important industrial applications. Therefore, many efforts have been made to improve the convergence capabilities of the numerical methods employed to simulate viscoelastic fluid flows. An important contribution for the solution of the High-Weissenberg Number Problem has been presented by Fattal and Kupferman [J. Non-Newton. Fluid. Mech. 123 (2004) 281-285] who developed the matrix-logarithm of the conformation tensor technique, henceforth called log-conformation tensor. Its advantage is a better approximation of the large growth of the stress tensor that occur in some regions of the flow and it is doubly beneficial in that it ensures physically correct stress fields, allowing converged computations at high Weissenberg number flows. In this work we investigate the application of the log-conformation tensor to three-dimensional unsteady free surface flows. The log-conformation tensor formulation was applied to solve the Upper-Convected Maxwell (UCM) constitutive equation while the momentum equation was solved using a finite difference Marker-and-Cell type method. The resulting developed code is validated by comparing the log-conformation results with the analytic solution for fully developed pipe flows. To illustrate the stability of the log-conformation tensor approach in solving three-dimensional free surface flows, results from the simulation of the extrudate swell and jet buckling phenomena of UCM fluids at high Weissenberg numbers are presented. Coralistas amadores: auto-imagem, dificuldades e sintomas na voz cantada

Purpose: to evaluate vocal self-perception, difficulties and presence of negative symptoms after singing of amateur choir singers of different vocal classifications, age and experience. Method: one hundred and twenty five singers answered a questionnaire containing identification data, information about self-perception of the singing voice, difficulties with singing and negative symptoms after singing. Results: the comparison considering vocal classification evidenced greater difficulties with high notes for altos and basses, greater difficulty regarding the transition to high notes for basses and greater vocal fatigue for altos. Comparing the singers by age, both adults and young adults referred more breathiness than the elderly. The adults referred better vocal intensity than the young adults. The young adults referred better timbre than adults. Regarding the experience, the less experienced singers reported self-perception of hoarseness and presence of hoarseness after singing in greater number than the experienced singers. Conclusion: the difficulties with singing are connected to the vocal classification and do not depend on age or experience. Vocal symptoms are related to the vocal classification and to the experience with singing. Negative self-perception is also related the vocal classification and to the experience with singing, and positive self-perception was more reported by experienced singers.

Avaliação por imagem dos gossipibomas abdominais

O termo gossipiboma é usado para descrever uma massa formada a partir de uma matriz de algodão cercada por uma reação inflamatória/granulomatosa. Sua incidência é estimada em 0,15% a 0,2%. O corpo estranho na cavidade abdominal pode servir de nicho para a proliferação de microrganismos e agir como foco primário para formação de abscessos e de peritonite. Vários estudos têm demonstrado a importância da correlação clínica com os diversos métodos de imagem (radiografia convencional, ultrassonografia, tomografia computadorizada e ressonância magnética) no diagnóstico dos gossipibomas. Este ensaio tem por objetivo demonstrar uma série de casos típicos de gossipibomas abdominais e ilustrar suas diversas formas de apresentação, com ênfase nos achados dos diferentes métodos de imagem, visando a familiarizar os radiologistas com esta enfermidade e seus principais diagnósticos diferenciais.

Este artigo propõe reflexão sobre a escrita da história, a partir de estudo das capas da Revista do Museu Paulista, especialmente durante as gestões dos dois primeiros diretores da instituição, quando certa continuidade editorial foi preservada. Tomadas como "fontes", ou seja, objeto de trabalho do historiador, as capas revelam vestígios de processos que permitem reconstruir, em suas dimensões históricas, as complexas imbricações entre a produção da Revista, sua materialidade, e os atos de leitura e interpretação que condicionam e refletem relações entre produtores de textos e seus leitores nas primeiras décadas do século XX, a partir de São Paulo, onde era editada.
