The aim of this study is to perform a situational analysis of the Laboratory of pulp and paper-UNESP ITAPEVA for conducting proposal the accreditation according to ISO / IEC 17025:2005. The ISO / IEC 17025 establishes the criteria for those laboratories wishing to demonstrate their technical competence, which have an effective quality system and are able to generate technically valid results, establishing a single international standard for certifying the competence of laboratories to carry tests and / or calibrations, including sampling. The case study was conducted on laboratory Pulp and Paper Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), campus Itapeva, where we compared the views of the technician responsible for the laboratory and a regular user. The generated conclusion is that the laboratory is unable to initiate an accreditation process, because it fails the requirements such as quality manual, register of subcontractors, research of customer satisfaction, schedule of internal audits, schedule for completion of critical analysis, profile of the functions required, functions current description, documentation of technical requirements for accommodation and environmental conditions, calibration programs, equipment calibration program, programs calibration standards and reports and / or certificate of test and / or calibration, that are in accordance with ISO / IEC 17025:2005, beyond that there is not the possibility to develop and implement a quality system without the commitment of everyone involved, regardless of the functional hierarchy

The demand for health services can be understood as an application needs the user has. The inability to use the outpatient services and limited supply of these make it possible for users to browse sites that focus attention on a greater possibility of entry doors, in which first-aid centers and hospital emergency match this profile, distorting the flow of patients in the network through an inverse demand of the movement hierarchy. Added to this, the burden of care in these services results in overcrowding and poor quality of care. Evaluate the demand of the visits occurred in the Emergency Room of the Hospital of the Medical School of Botucatu / UNESP (PS - HC - FMB / UNESP) during June-July 2010. A transversal, descriptive and retrospective. For data collection sheet was used in the proposed Service unit and the data it was filled out the form with the necessary items for the search. Made an exploratory analysis and frequency distributions for categorical variables of the form. Females predominated (56%) and aged 61 years or older with 30%. 96.5% were owned by DRS VI, and 62.5% of Botucatu. The attendance by the physician on duty and corresponded to 57.7% among the 23 medical specialties, Gastric (7.0%), Cardiology (4.5%), Medical (4.4%), urology (4.2%) and Pulmonology (4.1%) were the ones that stood out. The medical procedures performed that stood out were X-ray (46.4%) and electrocardiogram (ECG) (42.3%) and in most specialty care occurred, only the daily consultation with the patient. It was possible to characterize, so the demand for PS - HC - FMB / UNESP for the period June- July 2010, The predominance of the elderly shows that come along with aging diseases and addictions, causing a greater need for health services. Moreover, this study showed that the high number of visits is related to both the daily demands that the tertiary hospital has the same transformation... Uma das diretrizes da Portaria nº3916 do Ministério da Saúde (MS) é a Relação Nacional de Medicamentos Essenciais (RENAME). A prescrição de medicamentos dentro do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) deve ser feita utilizando medicamentos listados nessa relação. O medicamento genérico, criado e regulamentado pela Lei nº9787, é prioridade da Política Nacional de Medicamentos do MS. De acordo com esta lei, “as prescrições médicas e odontológicas de medicamentos, no âmbito do Sistema Único de Saúde – SUS adotarão obrigatoriamente a Denominação Comum Brasileira (DCB)”. A Portaria 344/98 MS, que regulamenta o controle dos medicamentos sujeitos a controle especial, determina os itens que devem estar presentes nas notificações. Neste trabalho, 1177 notificações retidas em uma drogaria de Araraquara durante o período de junho de 2008 a outubro de 2010 foram separadas e analisadas quanto: a) à utilização da DCB; b) quanto à utilização de medicamentos listados na RENAME; e c) quanto à adequação a Portaria 344/98 MS. Também foi avaliado o conhecimento dos prescritores quanto às leis vigentes através da aplicação de um questionário semiestruturado. Entre as 1177 notificações analisadas, 779 (66,18%) foram prescritas utilizando o nome comercial e 398 (33,82%) foram prescritas utilizando a DCB. Analisando as 399 notificações vindas do SUS, 188 (47,11%) adotaram os medicamentos da RENAME. Foram encontrados 319 problemas com as notificações de acordo com a Portaria 344/98 MS, os quais foram: 22 (1,86%) notificações com algum erro na identificação do emitente e/ou assinatura do prescritor; 3 (0,25%) notificações com algum erro na identificação do usuário; 294 (24,97%) notificações com preenchimento confuso nos itens como nome do medicamento ou substância, dosagem ou concentração, forma farmacêutica , quantidade e posologia; e 465 (39,50%)... A promoção do uso racional de medicamentos (URM) é necessária para se evitar quaisquer conseqüências inadequadas relacionadas ao uso de medicamentos. O profissional atuante deve transmitir todas as informações relevantes sobre o produto, assim como a forma adequada de uso, quantidade a ser utilizada, os cuidados que devem ser tomados e também os possíveis efeitos adversos que possam aparecer. A interação do profissional farmacêutico com o paciente é uma etapa indispensável e muito importante na dispensação, e com o prévio conhecimento e com o auxílio de material técnico para consulta, o farmacêutico é capaz de realizar uma boa dispensação, fornecendo o medicamento correto que foi prescrito e, principalmente, dando informação necessária sobre o uso do medicamento em questão. O usuário está sujeito a riscos oferecidos pelo uso inadequado do medicamento, e isso deve ser evitado no ato da dispensação do produto pelo profissional atuante. Todo medicamento apresenta seus riscos, até mesmo quando utilizado de forma adequada. Por isso, a educação do paciente em relação ao medicamento é imprescindível para que o seu consumo proporcione o máximo benefício, minimizando os possíveis efeitos indesejáveis. Os riscos do uso de medicamentos fazem com que o paciente fique susceptível aos chamados Problemas Relacionados com os Medicamentos (PRM’s), que são problemas de saúde apresentados como reações negativas pelo uso do medicamento, e tem como conseqüência o aparecimento de efeitos adversos ou o efeito terapêutico necessário não ocorra. Esse usuário que não recebe a devida atenção farmacêutica no ato da aquisição e dispensação do medicamento, ou seja, não é alertado sobre possíveis reações que o medicamento possa causar e também a maneira de usar o medicamento, pode contribuir para a sua não adesão ao tratamento. This project brings the development of an Android application which will allow users to access 3D models on web. The application developed allows Android devices to access web pages which have code that should use OPENGL to renderize. To demonstrate this functionality, an example web application was build, using technologies such as X3DOM and HTML5, which uses WebGL to get renderized. This web application gives to the user an environment of a virtual city, where he could surf by and interact with the objects. The Android application brings this immersion to the mobile world, also. The access and storage of data was developed a Webserver, which bring to the web application a simple API to give access to the database

The objective of this work is present and analyze the standards and guidelines associated with the protection of health of the user of waters less noble, for purposes other than drinking, and more specifically, the criteria descriptors of quality of these waters and the assessment of microbiological risk associated to its use aiming to establish, with bases and scientific criteria, the tolerable risk and the definition of standards for the microbiological quality. To this end, the author makes use of investigative exploratory method based on bibliographic survey and acquisition and posterior analysis, presentation and discussion about the topics discussed. The final text may inform and subsidise decisions regarding the definition of new values (preparation of new standards) and in the definition of appropriate technology

The increase in energy consumption in the world has caused the electrical systems becoming ever larger and more complex. Because of that becomes necessary to use special tools to efficiently manage the equipment present in these systems. Nowadays a tool very used is the remote monitoring of assets which works collecting signals using sensors processing these signals and make them available to the system user. So the user can use informations that may assist him efficiently in making decisions when doing a maintenance. The system is technically efficient since it improves the measurement process and enables the asset management of a substation by using advanced technology for that and economically viable especially in cases where the user is subject to monetary loss due an interruption of power supply

This scientific research aimed at presenting a comparative analysis of softwares used to represent the processes of flood wave and debris flow. For this, a literature review was performed on these processes and on simulation models used to represent them. Then, a research on scientific database and developers’ websites was performed to identify the softwares used to simulate these processes. This step was performed based on specific criteria such as the type of simulation performed by the software, its practical applications and a user friendly interface. A free distribution and totally functional software was chosen and its simulation mechanisms were tested through a simulation exercise and the results interpreted based on data on measured in the Basin of Ribeirão Marins section Monjolinho located in Piracicaba - SP. With respect to the processes, it was sought to present the dynamics, constraints, parameters and variables used to understand them and for the simulation models were presented the conceptual aspects of mathematical modeling including the steps of the simulation process and the different types of simulation models used to represent them. In total, 20 softwares were identified, and the software object of analysis was the ABC 6 that performs simulation of flood wave. Through the simulation exercise, it was observed that were presented overestimated values of flow compared to measured data in the basin. For both hypotheses were raised about the causes of the discrepancy between the observed and simulated flow. It has been concluded that the simulation process consisted of a complex procedure where generalizations, misrepresentations and simplifications may occur due to the data used and the method adopted, but it is a useful tool in planning and decision making in various types of studies and environmental projects

The representation of real objects in virtual environments has applications in many areas, such as cartography, mixed reality and reverse engineering. The generation of these objects can be performed through two ways: manually, with CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools, or automatically, by means of surface reconstruction techniques. The simpler the 3D model, the easier it is to process and store it. However, this methods can generate very detailed virtual elements, that can result in some problems when processing the resulting mesh, because it has a lot of edges and polygons that have to be checked at visualization. Considering this context, it can be applied simplification algorithms to eliminate polygons from resulting mesh, without change its topology, generating a lighter mesh with less irrelevant details. The project aimed the study, implementation and comparative tests of simplification algorithms applied to meshes generated through a reconstruction pipeline based on point clouds. This work proposes the realization of the simplification step, like a complement to the pipeline developed by (ONO et al., 2012), that developed reconstruction through cloud points obtained by Microsoft Kinect, and then using Poisson algorithm

The inclusion of sustainability practices in the construction is a growing trend. This propensity to sustainability takes place from the 1980’s due to the concern about the scarcity of natural resources and damages caused by the men to the environment. Another upward sector in the architecture business is the environmental psychology. The understanding of the environment and it’s planning and adaptation to meet the real user’s needs are essential factors to build an widely used and comfortable environment. An environment can only be considered complete when it meets the real user’s needs. Sustainability related themes as well as environmental psychology are highlighted in the discussions about the projects as fundamental factors to the environment’s quality. This work seeks the development of an kindergarten school, conceptually grounded in researches and analysis of school environments, playful projects and sustainability in the built environment, aiming its use in the city of Bauru. The project will be built from the understanding of the human behavior and in search of an sustainable architecture

People store data of the most different daily events, to know yourself, detect behaviors, predict events and have an strongly knowledge to take decisions. The growth of the events, results in a large amount of data colected and this data needs to be processed to get value information. This data have a temporal component from the collect process (daily, monthly or annualy) and this need to be consider on the exploration. The exploration based on temporal component can be uni-scale or multi-scale. The data mining goes toward to extract knowledge from large databases and if combined with visualization tools, the data mining can be more effective to detect information. This visualization tools display data and allow user to manipulate and change it by interaction features toward your goal. The user can combine tools and combine the steps of visualization among the tools through messages. This monograph aim to insert interactivity on AdaptaVis architecture model, developed by Shimabukuro (2004), the InfoVis, then extends its ability of exploration and provide a consistent base for the user handle data and extract information

O processo de envelhecimento origina uma série de alterações na pele, dentre elas as o estresse oxidativo e as discromias. O ácido kójico tem a capacidade de atuar no tratamento do envelhecimento cutâneo em virtude de sua atividade ferro-quelante e de promover a despigmentação da pele devido inibir a tirosinase, impedindo a formação da melanina. Sistemas de liberação controlada de substâncias ativas, como os sistemas líquido-cristalinos, tem a propriedade de modular a permeação cutânea de fármacos, além de melhorar a sua ação. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo desenvolver e caracterizar um sistema líquido cristalino constituído por água e isonomanoato de cetoestearila (óleo), e estabilizado com o tensoativo álcool cetílico etoxilado e propoxilado contendo ácido kójico, avaliando sua permeação cutânea in vitro. A partir da construção de um diagrama de fases, foram selecionadas três formulações caracterizadas microscopicamente como CLs de fase hexagonal, denominada de A (35% O, 50 % T e 15% A), B (30% O, 50 % T e 20% A) e C (20% O, 50% T e 30% A), para prosseguir com o estudo, que consistiu na incorporação do ácido kójico na concentração de 2% e a realização dos ensaios de textura, bioadesão, reologia e de permeação e retenção cutânea in vitro. O ensaio de textura demonstrou que a formulação B com valores intermediários de água e fase oleosa apresentou valores intermediários de dureza, compressibilidade e adesividade, ideais para aplicação tópica. O ensaio de bioadesão mostrou que com o acréscimo de água na fórmula a força bioadesiva aumentou, o que pode melhorar a fixação do produto na pele do usuário. O ensaio reológico evidenciou que há aumento da viscosidade com acréscimo de água na formulação e que os sistemas analisados tratavam-se de fluidos pseudoplásticos com tixotropia tempo dependente... The objective of this work is to analyze the viability of incorporation in a microcomputer box of a nobreak with an ultracapacitor as energy storage device, substituting the conventional chemical battery. An advantage of this inclusion is cost reduction because a specific metallic or plastic frame won’t be necessary to protect the components of the nobreak; the microcomputer metallic frame offers the necessary protection for both equipments. Moreover, a large quantity of internal space of microcomputers box isn’t used, and is possible to use it to wrap up the nobreak. This work uses data about average power consumption of microcomputers; operation of switching mode power supplies for microcomputers; electrical and mechanical characteristics of ultracapacitors and operation of power circuits of nobreaks, with the purpose of present a study of energy storage capacity that an ultracapacitor should have to allow a safe switching off of a microcomputer in case of electrical network fail. It was noticed that the use of ultracapacitors is feasible to feed an 180 W load for 75 s, using a capacitive bank with sixteen ultracapacitors, with a total capacitance of 350 F and voltage of 10,8 V. The use of the proposed nobreak increases the reliability of the microcomputer by reducing the probability of user data losses in case of an electrical network fail, offering a high cost/benefit product. The substitution of the battery by an ultracapacitor allows a quick nobreak recharge, with low maintenance costs, since ultracapacitors have a lifetime bigger than batteries; beyond reducing the environmental impact, because they don’t use potentially toxic chemical compounds

Currently, applications for smartphones and tablets, called apps, are becoming increasingly relevant and attract more attention from users and finally the developers. With the Application Stores, services provided by the company that maintains the platform, access to such applications is as or more simplified than to web sites, with the advantage of anenhanced user experience and focused on the mobile device, and enjoy natives resources as camera, audio, storage, integration with other applications, etc. They present a great opportunity for independent developers, who can now develop an application and make it availabl e to all users of that platform, at free or at a cost that is usually low. Even students may create their applications in the intervals of their classes and sell them in stores. Making use of tools and services, free or at low cost, anyone can develop quality applications, that can be marketed and have a large number of users even in adverse situations in which the application is not the focus of developer productivity. However, such to ols do not seem to be well used, or are unknown, or its purpose is not considered important, and this paper tries to show the real importance of these tools in the rapid development of quality software. This project presents several tools, services and practices, which together make it possible to develop an application for various mobile platforms, independently and with a team of a few people, as demonstrated. However, this paper aims not to say that the development of software today it is easy and simple, but there are currently a large set of tools, for various platforms, that assists and enhances the work of the programmer
