However, little is known what are the reasons that are preventing its spread between the construction methods. Conhecimento de diferentes populações sobre as leishmanioses

As leishmanioses são enfermidades infecciosas que costumam afetar populações de países de clima tropical e subtropical, em sua maioria subdesenvolvidos, uma vez que seus principais vetores necessitam de condições ambientais e climáticas adequadas facilmente encontradas nessas regiões, para se proliferar. Há diferentes formas clínicas que se caracterizam por sua evolução crônica, sendo a forma visceral (LV) uma das mais graves. Neste caso, a disseminação é relativamente rápida uma vez que existe também a abundância de um dos seus principais reservatórios domésticos, o cão, que vive bem próximo ao homem, o qual é também acometido por esta zoonose. Dessa maneira é preciso que as populações, principalmente aquelas localizadas em áreas endêmicas, saibam identificar os pontos principais dessa doença como a transmissão, sinais clínicos e prevenção. Por esse motivo, essa revisão sistemática objetivou procurar saber qual o conhecimento de diferentes populações sobre as leishmanioses. Foram utilizados os seguintes descritores: (knowledge) AND (population) AND (leishmaniasis), através de um levantamento bibliográfico em três bases de dados, LILACS, SCIELO e PUBMED. Foi possível concluir, através da análise de sete artigos, que o conhecimento das leishmanioses ainda se encontra muito superficial dentro das populações e que a principal fonte de informação ainda é a informal, de pessoa a pessoa

Das formas de ensinar e conhecer o mundo: lições de coisas e método de ensino intuitivo na imprensa periódica educacional do século XIX

This article analyses A Eschola Publica, an educational journal that circulated in São Paulo state between 1893-1894 and 1896-1897, whose editors, allied with the diffusion of republican ideas, helped the consolidation of objective method as a pedagogical efficient modern tool. It was possible gathering some sources that shows the acceptance of that method and the difficulties for its dissemination in the classroom, mainly those refers to teacher’s formation. Taking as referential bibliographical resources about schooling culture it was possible verifying that circulating in complementary parallel way to textbooks, the articles by A Eschola Publica endorse the innovative purposes and show barriers imposing on educational context. This journal produced a place for discussions and debates that contributed for controlling and producing symbolic resources

Escolarização de alunos com altas habilidades/superdotação: um apoio virtual

According to current legislation, is part of the Target of Special Education, students with high abilities/giftedness (HA/G). However, it appears that there are few studies on efficiency and effectiveness of diverse pedagogical practice for students with these characteristics. With increasing globalization, are multiplied opportunities for transnational education programs and educational services, particularly through the Internet, increasing the need for information services and accreditation of institutions and educational programs. This study aims to: a) develop a website containing information on high abilities/giftedness; b) evaluate the design of teachers on applicability of the site; c) analyze the contributions posted on the site. Therefore, it was available to the participants of this research produced site. Consisted on the site, among other information, those relating to HA/G indicators. Was sent a questionnaire via the Internet, with nine closed questions and two open, to 2000 teachers, registered in the database Improvement Course in Educational Practices Inclusive conducted by UNESP, under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Vera Lucia Messias Fialho Capellini. Data were considering frequency responses. For the treatment we used the Google Docs. As result Program Observed how teachers are lacking this subject deserves further Top depth. Concerning the site he was Considered by the participants as a support tool to the teacher, Which helps to identify and recognition of Individuals with HA/G and contributes to information, training and practical pedagogical way. This, is expected to Contribute to the dissemination of this issue in society as well as the Possibility of Minimizing the myths about this population, since such myths exist due to the lack of information

Revista de Educação (1921-1923): moral e civilidade republicanas na formação docente

In this paper, are analyzed the content of morality and civility disclosed in five articles published in the Revista de Educação, educational periodic published by the School for Teaching Training of Piracicaba, between 1921 and 1923, and that had Lourenço Filho as editor. For the analysis, it was used aspects of the theory of civilization processes, based on the emotional control idea, proposed by the German sociologist Norbert Elias, in the first decades of the twentieth century. Through historical approach, it was founded in these articles the principles of civility and of morality that should be taught through the school to the teaching training students so they could teach it to their students, future citizens of Republic. From the analysis of the articles of this journal it was possible to observe the "drawing" of citizen who was disclosed and, consequently, the spread - through the school – of values related to social behavior that matched to the standards of civilized individuals to the Brazilian Republic.

Detecção de Meloidogyne enterolobii em mudas de amoreira (Morus nigra L.)

Trade seedlings without certification contributed to spread pests and diseases which can cause a large damage to grown plants. In Itapetininga (SP), was seized by Agricultural Defense staff, seedlings of barbados cherry, guava and mulberry, sold in trucks, all of that had galls on roots, typical symptom caused by Meloidogyne spp. Specie identification was made by morphology of female perineal pattern and male head, as well as characterization of esterase enzyme phenotype. It was confirmed the presence of M. enterolobii in the samples analyzed. This is the first report of M. enterolobii in mulberry seedlings in the world.
