Arquitetura da infraestrutura urbana: o terminal de integração

Um dos maiores problemas relacionados ao quotidiano das médias e grandes cidades é o trânsito e por meio dele percebemos os conflitos de circulação urbana e se os meios de transportes fluem de forma satisfatória. Segundo Vasconcellos (1999), transporte público é um conjunto de elementos físicos que se distribui espacialmente, atendendo a população que dele depende. Localizada no oeste do Estado de São Paulo a cidade de Presidente Prudente enfrenta, hoje, um grave problema no tocante à circulação e à eficiência dos meios de transportes públicos, sendo esse oneroso para a população que o usufrui. Em termos proporcionais a tarifa por quilômetro rodado é muito elevada, em comparação às grandes cidades do Estado de São Paulo e do Brasil. Sendo o transporte público parte essencial de uma cidade, o seu funcionamento deve estar de acordo com o crescimento da mesma e atender qualitativamente e quantitativamente seus usuários, propondo um adequado uso do espaço urbano. Diante de tal realidade, o projeto tem, por objetivo, fomentar a proposta de implantação de terminal urbano de transporte público, baseado no redesenho viário da principal centralidade da cidade... Análise da qualidade do transporte público por ônibus no município de Jundiaí-SP

This work shows the importance of taking a good organization of space for the improvement of urban public transport. The model of urban transport is used improperly aggravating factor that generates diseconomies to society. The reduction of the use of public transport, degradation of environmental conditions, chronic congestion, poor accessibility and high rates of traffic accidents are common in many cities. The case study will be done in Jundiaí - SP, where actions were taken to try to reverse this situation of crisis in urban transport, as the change in transport network system. From its foundation until nowadays, the city of São Paulo has undergone major transformation processes, one of the responsibles for these changes is the presence of efficient transportation ; From construction of roads and routes for the animal traction transportation, railroads, expansion and improvements to the introduction of the automobiles, highways, subway system, among others, all these changes are related to greater flow of people and goods. However nowadays has been reflected issues such as quality of life and development of society in a sustainable way, once we have the construction and reconstruction of space in benefit of capital, and therefore the valuation of individual motorized transport. The overuse of individual motor vehicles are generating an urban chaos, making it increasingly difficult to transit in big cities, the use of bicycles is presented as a viable modal alternative, allowing the flow, and enhancing the health of society and quality of the air

Escoamento da produção de café: uma projeção de logística

This paper seeks to show which impacts there are of the combined use of different modal for the coffee’s outflow. Nowadays is used, almost exclusively, the roadway to transport. How-ever, for this product with low added value, the types of transports best suited, in the litera-ture, are the railway and waterway. For this, is describe the development and spread of coffee throughout Brazil. Subsequently, is calculate the current cost of transporting two producing regions (Minas Gerais and Rondônia), using for that information about the freight, the social cost, and the level of losses along the way. After that is projected costs if utilizes the multi-modal model, when considering the same cost parameters used for the current model. Here-after, an analysis is made of the obtained cost, speed, consistency, capacity, availability and frequency of each transport model. Therefore, note that the multi-modal system is more ef-ficient and economical than current, based on transport by road

This work dealt with the main urban problems Elevated President Costa e Silva, who is the main target of São Paulo's urban criticism. In the 20th century, youth has become a western myth rather than an important social category in the projection of future societies. The Right-wing was ahead of left-wing movements supporting national political projects. The crisis in the Welfare state and socialism system disoriented the right and left-wing movements. The myth of youth as reference for the progressive development of history was destroyed. Youth movements, consolidated in some student movements and supported by some religious organizations took over this reference position. However, these new youth movements are rarely engaged in political or environmentalist projects. The violence that originates from disturbing practices of social reproduction puts youth under pressure.

Passageiros de terceira classe: o transporte de emigrantes na história econômica da Navigazione Generale Italiana

From the 1860s, the Italian emigration reached many entily, becoming on national problem and a source of revenue for shipping companies operating in the Atlantic. In Italy, the resources were fundamental in financing the replacement of the old sailboats by more modern steamers. Established in 1881, the Navigazione Generale Italiana (NGI) had not scoped to carry passengers. It acted in trade of goods conjugated with postal services widely subsidized by the state. By incorporating that transported immigrants, in a concentration process that would transform it in the largest shipping company in Italy, the NGI opened the thriving business of emigration to the Americas. Based on reports and Balance Exercises Financial of the company between the years 1881 and 1915, papers relating to merchant shipping and emigration legislation (laws of 1888 and 1901), this paper aims to present some results of research on the importance trafficking of Italian emigrants Navigazione Generale Italiana for marking the specialization process of its fleet this kind of service.

Museus ferroviários do Estado de Sao Paulo (Brasil): as políticas de conservação e o estado atual do patrimônio ferroviário brasileiro

This paper is to discuss the expansion and partly dismantlement of Brazilian merchant marine, tracking their legal, administrative and planning. The analysis period extends from the formation of the Comissão da Marinha Mercante, 1941, to the end of the government of Fernando Henrique Cardoso, 2002. In this long duration it is discussed the formation of the national system of economy and the dynamics of contradictory national merchant navy. The text is divided into two parts: 1) Expansion: The centralization, the planning and nationalization with the formation of the shipbuilding industry, highlighting the actions of the Comissão da Marinha Mercante and the Superintendência Nacional da Marinha Mercante, planning and financing the national navigation; 2) Demolition part: the denationalization and privatization of the national navigation, in addition to the deep restructuring of the shipbuilding industry, highlighting the creation of the Agência Nacional de Transporte Aquaviários during the last years of Fernando Henrique Cardoso government.
