The study attempts to develop the concept of financial fragility and explore the advancement of their chances, since he started in 1970 until the present day with the most respected authors. The analysis focuses on the possibility of changing the cycle of economic activity that is due to the vulnerability, and so that it is related to the behavior of firms and agents. What can be done to prevent such a crisis. Thus, the authors present the factors and explain how the credit market, operating assets and investments of capital goods under the influence in that economy. It also consists in the analysis to visualize the size of the influence of credit, interest and investments made by the evaluation of a data set

Análise da teoria evolucionista nos livros didáticos do PNLD - 2012 na educação básica

A preocupação com o ensino da Evolução não é recente. Diversos pesquisadores fazem apontamentos de como é frequente nos livros de didáticos de biologia adotados no Brasil, a abordagem do tema como uma teoria acabada concluída e, desprovida de contextualização histórica para compreensão por parte dos alunos de como os conceitos foram desenvolvidos ao longo do tempo. Os pesquisadores relatam que a maior dificuldade dos alunos em compreender os conceitos ou a teoria da evolução está nos recorrentes equívocos conceituais e históricos presentes nos livros didáticos. Portanto, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo elaborar uma revisão bibliográfica, do que os teóricos especialistas na área do ensino de ciências têm apresentado sobre a Teoria da Evolução e o Ensino de Evolucionismo e qual tem sido a abordagem nos livros didáticos para o ensino público. A pesquisa constitui-se de análise bibliográfica, desenvolvida com base em material já elaborado, consultas em fontes bibliográficas do tipo: livros de leitura corrente de divulgação e publicações periódicas. Sendo a análise desse material de cunho qualitativo. A primeira etapa consistiu da escolha do tema e um levantamento preliminar do assunto. As etapas seguintes foram: o levantamento bibliográfico, a partir da problematização estabelecida, busca das fontes, leitura e fichamento do material. Para o fichamento dos livros didáticos o método utilizado foi fazê-lo em forma de registros. Foram feitos registros de seis coleções aprovadas PNDL de 2012: Bio. Lopes; Rosso, 2010. A ideologia dos filmes utilizados na educação infantil: uma análise a partir da teoria crítica

This work has as purpose to show what are the influences of media in the education and in the shaping the thinking and understand that ideologies are present in the films used in the classroom in kindergarten. For this, I directed the discussion beginning by concepts as Ideology and its more different definitions by several thinkers over the years, the thinkers of Critical Theory of Frankfurt School, called “frankfurtians” of first and second generation of this school, also making an association between Cinema and Education, evidencing concepts involving this association as Cultural Industry, using films properly in classrooms in kindergarten, with the teacher as mediator and then discussed what amounts of movies on children's education, how they assist and deepen the knowledge developed by students in schools of infantile education. Additionally, they are exposed the different opinions about the subject Film and Education for students from kindergarten, what benefits and what disadvantages in the use of films, the different opinions on the subject. We also discuss, in this work, the ideologies present in three films produced by Walt Disney, they are Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Alice in Wonderland, relating them to how they can contribute to the development and learning students in kindergarten. I associated more as possible the previous discussions to analyze the ideologies present in these films, by summarizing these, and decomposing them through an analysis tool called frame. Finally, I completed everything that was discussed and analyzed, which students in kindergarten may develop with the use of films in schools, what they contribute, in some way, for the learning and education of students as viewers using the school as access to different cultures and the teacher as a mediator of this relationship

Avaliação das condições de contorno da teoria de Hertz, comparando os resultados analíticos e numéricos a partir de simulações em software de elementos finitos

The objective of this study was to present the comparison between analytical and numerical results trying to identify the differences and behaviors of the variation of the principal stresses and the maximum contact pressure for different model configurations. The analytical equations of the theory of Hertz from the boundary conditions adopted by him were differences are shown. A step-by-step of developing the model indicating the geometric dimensions, surface contact, type of contact, the formulation used by the software, type of mesh, as well as the boundary conditions and load was presented. In the results, the stresses calculated analytically and compared with the stresses obtained by the finite element simulation software indicating the changes have been made

Teoria do ciclo político-econômicos: um estudo de São Paulo e Minas Gerais

A Teoria dos Ciclos Político-Econômicos relata que os políticos influenciam o comportamento da economia por meio de manipulações das variáveis econômicas e de instrumentos políticos, visando à maximização de votos, por saberem que a situação econômica incide sobre as decisões eleitorais. Neste contexto, este trabalho tem como objetivo principal analisar se existem evidências de ciclos políticos no Brasil, no período de 2002 a 2010. Para isso, procederam-se análises gráficas da evolução do saldo orçamentário dos estados de São Paulo e de Minas Gerais desta época. Os resultados apontaram que em alguns períodos estes ciclos ainda estão presentes, embora eles tendam a desaparecer devido à implantação da Lei de Responsabilidade Fiscal de 2000, a qual objetiva um maior controle das contas públicas

With the increasing demand for electricity, the retraining of transmission lines is necessary despite environmental restrictions and crossings in densely populated areas to build new transmission and distribution lines. Solution is reuse the existent cables, replacing the old conductor cables for new cables with higher capacity power transmission, and control of sag installed. The increasing demand for electrical power has increased the electric current on the wires and therefore, it must bear out temperatures of 150°C or more, without the risk of the increasing sag beyond the established limits. In the case of long crossings or densely populated areas, sag is due to high weight of the cable on clearance. The cable type determines the weight, sag, height and the towers dimensions, which are the items that most influence the investment of the transmission line. Hence, to reduce both cost of investment and maintenance of the line, the use of a lighter cable can reduce both number and the height of the towers, with financial return on short and long term. Therefore, in order to increase the amount of transmitted energy and reduce the number of built towers and sag, is recommended in the current work substitute the current core material (steel or aluminium) for alternatives alloys or new materials, in this case a composite, which has low density, elevated stiffness (elasticity module), thus apply the pultruded carbon fiber with epoxy resin as matrix systems and perform the study of the kinetics of degradation by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), according to their respective standards

The competition among companies nowadays, caused by globalization and with customers more and more demanding, makes the companies rethink their strategies for survival. To improve their competition the companies are adopting management tool to improve the manufacturing management, which is considered a key to success. The present study aimed to develop a method, based on techniques of theory of constraints and operational research, to ensure the best use of resources and best decision of a production line on a steel company, with focus in the customers’ delivery time, which is a requirement of the current market. The conclusion of this study is that the correct use of the management tools, such as theory of constraints and operational research, can ensure a long survival for the companies that duel for the market share, especially in regard to customers’ delivery time, that generates their satisfaction

Cinética de lactato sanguíneo durante exercício de natação em ratos desnutridos recém-desmamados

Sabe-se que a desnutrição protéica fetal/neonatal pode predispor à resistência à insulina e à síndrome metabólica após recuperação nutricional. O treinamento físico, por sua vez, melhora a tolerância à glicose e a sensibilidade à insulina, além de exercer efeitos benéficos ao crescimento somático. Por outro lado, faltam informações quanto à habilidade de organismos desnutridos muito jovens para a realização do exercício. Modelos animais podem auxiliar a investigação desta questão, uma vez que o estudo em humanos apresenta limitações. Alimentação de ratos com dietas isocalóricas com baixo teor protéico é um modelo de desnutrição bastante utilizado para simular a desnutrição humana. Assim sendo, o presente estudo foi delineado para avaliar a cinética de lactato sanguíneo durante uma sessão de natação de ratos recém desmamados submetidos à restrição protéica fetal/neonatal. Foram avaliados dois grupos de animais recém-desmamados (21 dias, machos), contendo 8 animais em cada um: Normoprotéico (NP), crias de ratas alimentados com dieta normoprotéica (AIN 93G, 17% caseína) durante a gestação e a lactação e Hipoprotéico (HP):crias de ratas alimentados com dieta normoprotéica (6% caseína) durante a gestação e a lactação. Foram analisados peso ao nascer, concentrações séricas de proteínas totais e albumina dos recém-nascidos assim como ao desmame. Os dados foram analisados pelo teste t de student não pareado, sendo o nível de significância pré-estabelecido em 5%. Quando se avaliou os animais recémnascidos observou-se que a restrição protéica neonatal foi eficaz na instalação do quadro de desnutrição visto menores valores referente ao peso corporal, proteínas... This thesis aims to analyze the applicability of Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC to improve processes focused on agriculture. We discuss the origins of each system separately, Lean Manufacturing, the Toyota plants in Japan, and Six Sigma, by Motorola in the U.S., and then appears to merge them and can meet their complementarities and synergy between their tools. Finally, we describe a case study focused on the harvesting department, applicable to all types of manuals crops, covering the production of fruits, vegetables and greens. Análise cinemática e cinética do salto vertical de crianças com transtorno do desenvolvimento da coordenação (TDC)

Due to motor difficulties, children with developmental coordination disorder (DCD) doesn't feel motivated to do physical activities, sometimes resulting in a decline of their physical fitness, but it isn't really known for sure the reasons that induct children with DCD to low performances in physical fitness tests, because a lot of tasks that are part of the battery of tests of physical performance are complex in the coordination and/or motor control point of view, like the vertical jump for example. Therefore, the objective of this study was to investigate the factors that induct children with DCD to low performances in physical fitness tests, especially in the vertical jump task. For that, cinematic (duration of the eccentrical phase, duration of the concentrical phase, shift of the mass center and velocity of the mass center), kinetic (potency peak and force peak) and vertical jump performance analysis in two conditions (with the use of arms and without it) were realized in a force platform. The results indicated that children with DCD show a lower performance compared to their peers with typical development (TD), due to a lower potency production

Teoria do desenho de mecanismos: aplicações na teoria dos conflitos internacionais

O presente trabalho busca apresentar os conceitos principais referentes à Teoria do Desenho de Mecanismos e sua aplicação à Teoria dos Conflitos Internacionais, e como sua utilização pode solucionar alguns problemas referentes à metodologia mais utilizada na análise dos conflitos, baseada na Teoria dos Jogos tradicional. Através de uma análise game-free, estabelecem condições gerais para a resolução de conflitos entre países, sem a necessidade de estabelecer formas de jogo específicas. Desse modo, determinam-se resultados para qualquer equilíbrio de qualquer forma de jogo que envolva países em disputa. O trabalho segue apresentando a relação causal entre incerteza e incentivos para revelar de maneira desonesta informações privadas como causas fundamentais de guerra. Analisam-se separadamente as condições que levam à guerra em dois tipos de incerteza, constantemente discutidas na literatura de conflitos internacionais: incerteza em relação ao custo de guerra e em relação à força relativa.
