This article covers the concepts about the knowledge management practices aligned with corporate governance in the organizations opened capital, highlighting the importance attached to these types of management assistance in the conduct of business organizations. Highlights the points that still have gaps existing in governance organizations models and proposes a discussion of what remains to be done by proposing the use of knowledge management models as a tool to aid the implementation of best governance practices. Through research conducted in a company with publicly traded and listed on Level 1 of corporate governance, it was possible to identify therelationship between knowledge management models aligned with corporate governance standards. A questionary that includes elements of corporate governancein line with the concepts and models of knowledge management was applied. After finding that there is strong alignment between knowledge management and corporate governance, we present the arguments about the contributions that this convergence can bring to the organization.

Modelos de recuperação de informação e web semântica: a questão da relevância

Introduction: In the Web environment, there is a need for greater care with regard to the processing of descriptive and thematic information. The concern with the recovery of information in computer systems precedes the development of the first personal computers. Models of information retrieval have been and are today widely used in databases specific to a field whose scope is known. Objectives: Verify how the issue of relevance is treated in the main computer models of information retrieval and, especially, as the issue is addressed in the future of the Web, the called Semantic Web. Methodology: Bibliographical research. Results: In the classical models studied here, it was realized that the main concern is retrieving documents whose description is closest to the search expression used by the user, which does not necessarily imply that this really needs. In semantic retrieval is the use of ontologies, feature that extends the user's search for a wider range of possible relevant options. Conclusions: The relevance is a subjective judgment and inherent to the user, it will depend on the interaction with the system and especially the fact that he expects to recover in your search. Systems that are based on a model of relevance are not popular, because it requires greater interaction and depend on the user's disposal. The Semantic Web is so far the initiative more efficient in the case of information retrieval in the digital environment.

Efeitos e tendências dos processos de convergência nos modelos de produção jornalística: ecossistema, audiência, instituições e agentes locais em análise

The research aims to analyze the main changes in the concepts of the processes of production and consumption of news content information. The theoretical framework used will be the new consequent social, economic and technological paradigms of the current scenario of convergence of platforms, content and languages. The research aims to investigate the changes in the macro environment of journalistic production and, therefore, examine whether the local flow of news content meets the requirements of a new public consumption target set by the new Brazilian generations, composed of young people influenced by the cultures of computing, audiovisual communication and also by economic and cultural globalization. As expansion of the analyzes sought to verify the impact of these changes in the current models of traditional media, as well as the interference caused and trends in models of existing production. Also a case study is performed on this production flow in comparison with current market research of Jornal da Cidade (JC) of the city of Bauru (SP), the main media of the Grupo Comunicação. The intent of the approach will be to establish some preambles to assist in bringing the theory with the practical impacts on journalistic production, its agents, institutions and the workplace

O mercado editorial na formação dos professores da educação básica: levantamento e caracterização de revistas pedagógicas (1996-210)

A pesquisa tem por foco o mercado editorial voltado para a formação dos professores da educação básica, com ênfase para as revistas pedagógicas com periodicidade regular em circulação na região Sudeste do país. Objetivou-se reconhecer e caracterizar manifestações desse mercado a partir da análise da materialidade das revistas, buscando encontrar também representações sobre os professores e sua profissão. O trabalho foi realizado sob uma abordagem qualitativa, nos moldes da pesquisa documental. Em um primeiro momento, realizou-se a identificação de quais são as revistas pedagógicas disponíveis no mercado e a que tipo de profissional elas se destinam, partindo de levantamento de materiais presentes em bancas de jornal, livrarias, bibliotecas e também em sites especializados. O segundo momento caracteriza-se pela análise e comparação da materialidade das revistas. Trata-se de um Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso que teve apoio financeiro pelo Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação Científica da Pró-Reitoria (PROPE) de Pesquisa da UNESP (PIBIC/Reitoria). É parte do projeto “Mercado de formação docente: constituição, funcionamento, possibilidades e limites”, financiado pelo CNPq, que por sua vez integra o Projeto Temático FAPESP “Programas Especiais de Formação de Professores, educação a distância e escolarização: pesquisas sobre novos modelos de formação em serviço

A utilização de modelos matemáticos para a otimização de processos

This dissertation has as main theme the discuss about how the use of mathematical models for process optimization. The current scenario of strong competition to conquer the consumer market necessitates the development of improvements to better performance of the process as a whole, is to reduce costs, increase efficiency or effectiveness. Thus, the use of methodologies to assist in this process is becoming increasingly viable. Methodologies developed in the past are being studied and improved. An example is the Desirability, the object of the present study, which was developed in the 80's and has been improved over time. To understand and study this methodology was applied to the desirability function in three instances, where it was used Design of Experiments (DOE), taken from scientific papers, using the Solver tool (Excel ®) and desirability (Minitab ®). Thus, in addition to studying the methodology, it was possible to compare the performance of tools used for optimization in different situations. From the results of this study, it was possible to validate the superiority of one of the models studied compared fairly

Cette recherche là veut analyser et discuter les pratiques discursives qui promeuvent et constriusent des modèles de subjectivité dans la société dês médias. Le corpus de la recherche est la série de TV Glee, produite et véhiculée par la chaîne Fox, dont on observe la proposition d’une identité des minorités pour les jeunes gens dans l’ère de la mondialisation, aussi que le mouvement du marché culturel promu par le discours de la série. Enfin, sont pensés les transformations récentes dans contexte médiatique et le changement dans le façon comme les effets de sens sont véhiculés dans la société. The present work resulted from a study about coolant filtration systems in industries with metalworking process in large scale. The filtration and element filter world markets move billions of Reais per year and have a promissory future considering that with the global requirements of sustainable economic development, many companies invest in new filtering technology. Either known as coolant or cutting fluid, it is used to lubricate e cool parts during machining and is necessary due to the high volume demanded in the several machining operations and to the high cost of the product. Therefore, there is the need for recycling the product after its use. The work shows the technology and fundamentals of filtration as well as different filtering elements, filtration systems and scale contamination used in the industry. Also, there is a differentiation between filtration of the surface type (cake) and depth filtration and shows the basic theory of filtration by mathematic models in different operational conditions. Ultimately, project criteria for a coolant filtration system selection is shown followed by technical-operational details of a real vacuum filtration system and a case study aiming the operational cost reduction of the system
