Birds are hosts for a rich fungal microbiota which can act as potent pathogens for humans and other species of animals, causing thereby serious public health problems. The objective of this study was to evaluate the participation of birds kept in containers in the epidemiology of infectious diseases such as cryptococcosis and aspergillosis, thus verifying the maintenance and spread of pathogens in the environment. 36 samples of excretas of passeriformes were collected and were cultivated in Sabouraud Dextrose Agar 4% at room temperature and 37°C. The isolated fungal colonies were classified according to their morphological and staining characteristics. Subsequently, those in yeast form were peaked in Niger Agar, incubated at 30°C. In one sample showed growth of more than one type of colony and there was verified the presence of 25.0% of Penicillium spp., 19.4% of Trichosporon spp., 13.9% of C. gattii, 11.1% of C. neoformans, 11.1% of Candida spp., 8.3% of Rhizomucor spp., 8.3% of Aspergillus spp., 2.8% of Nigrospora spp. and 2,8% of Geotrichum spp. It can be conluded by the expost that birds shed continuously pathogenic microorganisms in their feces acting in definitive form in the infectious diseases ecoepidemiology.

Since the occlusion area is presented in almost all specialties of Dentistry, its relationship with the health of the patient has been shown. The etiology of temporomandibular disorders is multifactorial and the occlusion is considered an etiologic factor. This study aimed to discuss the functional occlusion aspects and the presence of temporomandibular disorders. Literature Review: The loss of orthopedic balance can induce temporomandibular disorder. Therefore, both the physiological and functional occlusions have been analyzed as a dental relation. Several functional occlusal factors have been linked to the temporomandibular disorders such as deviations of centric relation to maximum intercuspation, occlusal interferences, absence of posterior teeth, changes on the occlusion vertical dimension, malocclusion, orthodontic treatment and parafunction. Conclusion: The most common occlusal factors related to temporomandibular disorders are quite frequent; however, the diagnosis and treatment of such disorders should be considered individually

This paper presents a case report of a patient with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) diagnosed in routine dental care. ITP is defined as a decrease in the number of circulating platelets and generally shows oral manifestations. In this light, we show that the general dental practitioner must be ready to detect ITP signs and symptoms, especially oral changes that are not of dental origin, so as to immediately prescribe the proper treatment. Without this treatment, this pathology may well be irreversible and fatal.

For decades the Companhia Tróleibus de Araraquara was a national reference in public transportion, but in recent years it is in a process of bankruptcy and scrapping, characteristics of privatizing processes that has been occurring worldwide since the rise of neoliberal ideas. This monography is centered on the finance analysis of CTA to investigate what reasons led the public company to come in the current financial scenario, what are the interests that exist to privatize a public company and which consequences the sale of the of public companies have for a country of subordinate capitalism like Brazil. Most Brazilian cities are in an urban collapse due to the lack of public policies for public transportation and bulky incentives for private transportation. Furthermore, this monography aims to contribute for the study of urban mobility and point out if privatization is a way to improve life in the cities
