The residue measurment of pesticide in water and biota of the Sorkhrood River in the south of the Caspian Sea

Pesticide residue is considered as a crucial factor in the fresh water ecosystem pollution of north Iran (Esp. Gillan and Mazandaran provinces). It is also regarded dangerous to the health of human being and animals. In this research , pesticide residue in 3 species of fish was gauged in stations of the Haraz river , the Sorkhrood river , and the Caspian sea. The sampeles were taken during 27 mounths (started in April 97 and ended to June 99). The maximum level of pesticide in water was found in July 98 for lindine at 12.4 ppb. The level of chlorinated pesticide residue recorded at 63 ppb in April 98. The level of. organophosphorus pesticides residue in water was at 1.75 ppb in Aug 97. The toxicity of the mentioned pesticide and bioaccomulation were taken into account in conducting this researched.

1998 年在西藏墨脱县海拔1000 m 左右地方采到成年雌性环蛇1 号, 系我国新纪录。该蛇全长/ 尾长(mm) 1095/ 112 (尾尖断) 。通身背面黑褐色, 后3/ 4 有由背鳞白色点斑缀成的窄横纹约40 个; 腹面浅黑 色, 每隔3 或4 枚腹鳞有不规则的黄白色横斑。尾背有少数不完整的白色纹, 但尾腹面有7 条很明显的横斑。头 部斑纹与M. Smith (1943 : 410) 描述一致, 可能由于蛇龄较老而不清晰。背鳞通身15 行, 脊鳞略扩大; 腹鳞 233 , 尾下鳞35 (略低于文献记载的44～51 , 可能与尾尖断有关) , 除前端第三、四两枚成单外, 其余均成对。 没有颊鳞; 眶前鳞1 , 眶后鳞2 ; 颞鳞1 + 2 ; 上唇鳞7 (22223 式) ; 下唇鳞7 , 第一对在颏鳞后彼此相接, 前4 对 接前颔片; 前颔片大于后颔片, 后者后半介一小鳞。检查一侧, 除前沟牙及其预备牙外, 没有发现其他上颌齿。

A New Species of the Genus Garra from Nujiang River Basin, Yunnan, China (Teleostei: Cyprinidae)

2003年4月,于怒江二级支流镇康县境内的大叉河中采获一批墨头鱼属(Garra)鱼类标本,经鉴定为一新种,命名为怒江墨头鱼(G.nujiangensis Chen and Yang,sp.nov.).该新种主要鉴别特征:围尾柄鳞12～14:侧线鳞48～50:在小个体中有一对微小的吻须;背鳍分支鳍条8～9;侧线上鳞5～6,侧线下鳞3～4;体高小于头长;臀鳍起点处的小于眼后至吻端的距离;腹鳍前长为体长的50.0%～53.7%;肛门前长为体长的58.9%～63.9%:体宽为体长的16.7%～19.6%:体高为体长的19.2%～22.6%.本研究证实,在缺须的墨头鱼属的一些物种中,如高体墨头鱼(G.alticorpora)和怒江墨头鱼(G.nujiangensis),其幼体中往往具有一对很小的吻须.

XDistribution and Length2weight Relationships of Glyptosternoid Fishes in the Drung River Basin , Yunnan

鱼类主要分布于青藏高原周边, 是一群适合于急流生活的　科鱼类。在独龙江流域7 个点共采 集271 号　　鱼类标本(隶属　属、　属和异齿　属) , 结合各采集点数据绘制大鳍异齿　、藏　和扁头　的分布 直方图, 结果显示, 藏　( E. labiatum) 在流速较快的独龙江下游各采集点的种群数量较上游高, 更适应急流生 境。同时研究了这3 种　　鱼类的体长与体重的关系, 参数b (W = aLb) 的范围在218201 和310131 之间, 均为异 速生长; 藏　的生长类型最接近等速生长。

A new species of catfish of the genus Clupisoma (Siluriformes : Schilbidae) from the Salween River, Yunnan, China

A new species of the schilbid catfish genus Clupisoma Swainson, 1838, was discovered in the Salween River [= Nujiang] of western Yunnan Province, China. There are no previous records of schilbid catfish from the middle reaches of the Salween River before this discovery. Clupisoma nujiangense, new species, is the ninth species of the genus Clupisoma and only the third schilbid catfish species recorded from China.
