We studied systematically the reaction dynamics induced by neutron-halo nuclei and proton-halo nuclei within the isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamics, such as the effects of loose bound halo-nuclei on the fragmentation reaction and momentum dissipation for different colliding systems with different beam energies and different impact parameters. In order to emphasize the roles of neutron-halo nucleus B-19 and proton-halo nucleus Al-23 on the reaction dynamics we also calculated the the reaction dynamics induced by the stable nuclei F-19 and Na-23 with equal mass under identical incident channel conditions. Based on the comparison of results of reaction dynamics induced by halo-nucleus colliding systems and stable nucleus collidinmg systems we found that the roles of loose bound halo-nucleus structure on the fragmentation multiplicity and nuclear stopping (momentum dissipation) are important for all of colliding systems with different beam energies and minor impact parameters, such as, the loose bound halo-nuclei structure increases the fragmentation multiplicity, but reduces the nuclear stopping.

To investigate effects of nitric oxide on cellular radio-sensitivity, three human glioma cell lines, i.e. A172, A172 transfected green fluorescence protein (EGFP) gene (EA172) and A172 transfected inducible nitric oxide synthesis (iNOS) gene (iA72), were irradiated by C-12(6+) ions to 0, 1 or My. Productions of nitric oxide and glutathione (GSH) in A172, EA172 and iA172 were determined by chemical methods, cell cycle was analyzed by flow cytometry at the 24th hour after irradiation, and survival fraction of the cells was measured by colorimetric MTT assay at the 5th day after irradiation. The results showed that the concentrations of nitric oxide and GSH in iA172 were significantly higher than in A172 and EA172; the G(2)/M stage arrest induced by the C-12(6+) ion irradiation was observed in A172 and EA172 but not in iA172 at the 24th hour after exposure; and the survival fraction of iA172 was higher than that of EA172 and iA172. Data suggest that the radio-sensitivity of the A172 was reduced after the iNOS gene transfection. The increase of GSH production and the change of cellular signals such as the cell cycle control induced by nitric oxide may be involved in this radio-resistance.

There has been increasing demand to provide higher beam intensity and high enough beam energy for heavy ion accelerator and some other applications, which has driven electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) ion source to produce higher charge state ions with higher beam intensity. One of development trends for highly charged ECR ion source is to build new generation ECR sources by utilization of superconducting magnet technology. SECRAL (superconducting ECR ion source with advanced design in Lanzhou) was successfully built to produce intense beams of highly charged ion for Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL). The ion source has been optimized to be operated at 28 GHz for its maximum performance. The superconducting magnet confinement configuration of the ion source consists of three axial solenoid coils and six sextupole coils with a cold iron structure as field booster and clamping. An innovative design of SECRAL is that the three axial solenoid coils are located inside of the sextupole bore in order to reduce the interaction forces between the sextupole coils and the solenoid coils. For 28 GHz operation, the magnet assembly can produce peak mirror fields on axis of 3.6 T at injection, 2.2 T at extraction, and a radial sextupole field of 2.0 T at plasma chamber wall. During the commissioning phase at 18 GHz with a stainless steel chamber, tests with various gases and some metals have been conducted with microwave power less than 3.5 kW by two 18 GHz rf generators. It demonstrates the performance is very promising. Some record ion beam intensities have been produced, for instance, 810 e mu A of O7+, 505 e mu A of Xe20+ 306 e mu A of Xe27+, and so on. The effect of the magnetic field configuration on the ion source performance has been studied experimentally. SECRAL has been put into operation to provide highly charged ion beams for HIRFL facility since May 2007.

从采集的土壤样品中分离筛选出一株碱性蛋白酶产生菌G-41,经16S rRNA分子鉴定为芽孢杆菌属菌株。该菌株在发酵培养基中能产生较高产量的胞外碱性蛋白酶(1.7×104U/mL)。以G-41为出发菌株,对其进行重离子辐照诱变处理,获得突变株G-41-68,将该突变株再次经重离子诱变,从大量突变株中筛选出碱性蛋白酶高产菌株15Gy-54,其酶活力达到6.22×104U/mL。与出发菌株相比较,突变株G-41-68和15Gy-54的酶活力分别提高了1.58倍和2.65倍。对突变株15Gy-54的发酵条件进行了优化研究,结果表明,该菌株的碱性蛋白酶活力得到进一步提高,达到7.18×104U/mL,其最适发酵条件为:培养基(g/100mL)为胰蛋白胨1、酵母膏0.5、乳糖5、Na2HPO4·12H2O0.4、KH2PO40.03、Na2CO30.1、MgSO40.0481(4×10-3mol/L)、pH8.0,培养温度41℃,振荡培养时间42-48h。实验结果表明,重离子辐照诱变技术是一种非常有效的微生物诱变育种新技术。

Polypropylene (PP) microporous membranes were successfully prepared by swift heavy ion irradiation and track-etching. Polypropylene foils were irradiated with Au-197 ions of kinetic energy 11.4 MeV.u(-1) (total energy of 2245.8 MeV) and fluence 1x10(8) ions.cm(-2) at normal incidence. The damaged regions produced by the gold ions along the trajectories were etched in H2SO4 and K2Cr2O7 solutions leading to the formation of cylindrical pores in the membranes. The pore diameters of the PP microporous membranes increased from 380 to 1610 nm as the etching time increased from 5 to 30 min. The surface and cross-section morphologies of the porous membranes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The micropores in the membranes were found to be cylindrical in shape, homogeneous in distribution, and equal in size. Some mathematical relations of the porosity of the PP microporous membranes were established by analytic derivation. The microporous membranes were used in lithium-ion batteries to measure their properties as separators. The electrical conductivity of the porous membrane immersed in liquid electrolyte was found to be comparable to that of commercial separators by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The results showed that the porosity and electrical conductivity were dependent on the ion fluence and etching time. By adjusting these two factors, microporous membranes with good porosity and electrical conductivity were made that met the requirements for commercial use.

利用离子辐照结合径迹蚀刻方法制备聚丙烯(PP)微孔膜.用加速器产生的单核能为11.4MeV·u-1(总能量2245.8MeV)的197Au离子束辐照PP膜,剂量为1×108ions·cm-2.辐照后PP膜沿离子路径产生损伤区域,用硫酸与重铬酸钾的混合液进行蚀刻(5-30min),制备出孔径为380-1610nm的聚丙烯微孔膜.对膜的表面和断面形貌进行表征,微孔膜的孔径大小及空间分布均匀,孔道上下贯通,形状近似为圆柱形.给出了微孔膜的孔隙率理论公式.将制备的聚丙烯微孔膜用作锂离子电池隔膜,用电化学阻抗谱(EIS)测定浸满电解液的微孔膜的离子电导率,并与商用隔膜进行比较.分析表明辐照剂量和孔径大小均会影响膜的孔隙率和离子电导率,选择合适的辐照剂量和蚀刻时间,可以制备出孔隙率和离子电导率符合应用标准的聚丙烯微孔膜.

用能量11.4MeV/u和注量1×108ions/cm2的197Au离子垂直辐照聚丙烯薄膜,通过电导测量法监测温度、硫酸浓度和重铬酸钾浓度对径迹蚀刻速率的影响,得到合适的蚀刻条件;成功制备出孔径范围在600—1000nm的重离子径迹聚丙烯孔膜,并用场发射扫描电镜对孔的形状及孔径大小进行了表征,对孔洞锥角的形成进行了分析,为重离子辐照技术制备锂离子电池隔膜提供了实验数据。

In this work, we discuss the contribution of the mesonic loops to the decay rates of chi(c1) -> phi phi, omega omega, which are suppressed by the helicity selection rules and chi(c1) -> phi omega, which is a double- Okubo- ZweigIizuka forbidden process. We find that the mesonic loop effects naturally explain the clear signals of chi(c1) -> phi phi, omega omega decay modes observed by the BES Collaboration. Moreover, we investigate the effects of the omega - phi mixing, which may result in the order of magnitude of the branching ratio BR(chi(c1) -> omega phi) being 10(-7). Thus, we are waiting for the accurate measurements of the BR(chi(c1) -> omega omega), BR(chi(c1) -> phi phi) and BR(chi(c1) -> omega phi) which may be very helpful for testing the long- distant contribution and the omega - phi mixing in chi(c1) -> phi phi, omega omega, omega phi decays.

The discrepancy between the PQCD calculation and the CLEO data for chi (c1)->gamma V (V=rho (0), omega, phi) stimulates our interest in exploring other mechanisms of chi (c1) decay. In this work, we apply an important non-perturbative QCD effect, i.e., the hadronic loop mechanism, to study chi (c1)->gamma V radiative decay. Our numerical result shows that the theoretical results including the hadronic loop contribution and the PQCD calculation of chi (c1)->gamma V are consistent with the corresponding CLEO data of chi (c1)->gamma V. We expect further experimental measurement of chi (c1)->gamma V, which will be helpful to test the hadronic loop effect on chi (c1) decay.

介绍了国家重大科学工程项目——兰州重离子加速器冷却存储环(HIRFL-CSR)的实验环(CSRe)团簇内靶温度闭环控制器的设计。该控制器给气体喷嘴处测温电阻提供长时间稳定度为0.1%的1mA恒定电流,通过12位ADC得到喷嘴温度,并通过混合信号处理器MSP430F149来实现制冷/加热闭环操作。在多种不同实验气体的情况下,该控制器的温度控制精度小于0.5K。目前,该控制器在现场工作良好。

This paper reports that the K x-ray spectra of the thin target 47Ag, 48Cd, 49In and 50Sn were measured by an HPGe semi-conductor detector in collisions with 84.5 MeV 6C4+ ions. Our experiment revealed the Kα x-ray energy shifts were not obvious and the Kβ1 x-ray energy shifts were about 90∼110 eV. The simple model of Burch et al has been previously used to calculate the K x-ray energy shifts due to an additional vacancy in 2p orbit. The present work extends the model of Burch to calculate the x-ray energy shifts of multiple ionized atoms induced by heavy ions with kinetic energy of MeV/u. In addition to our experimental results, many other experimental results are compared with the calculated values by using the model.

We have successfully achieved the integration of isothermal amplification and the subsequent analysis of specific gene fragments on poly(methyl methacrylate) microchips. In our experiments, loop-mediated isothermal amplification, which can offer higher specificity and efficiency than PCR, has been performed at a constant temperature (65 degreesC). After amplification, products could be either examined by the integrated microchip-based electrophoresis or directly observed by naked eye with SYBR Green I added into the reaction solution. By such an integrated microsystem, the amplification and the subsequent analysis of prostate-specific antigen gene with template concentration at 23 fg/muL could be finished within 15 min, which demonstrates its advantages of high specificity, good reproducibility, and fast speed in gene detection.

Mapping the spatial distribution of contaminants in soils is the basis of pollution evaluation and risk control. Interpolation methods are extensively applied in the mapping processes to estimate the heavy metal concentrations at unsampled sites. The performances of interpolation methods (inverse distance weighting, local polynomial, ordinary kriging and radial basis functions) were assessed and compared using the root mean square error for cross validation. The results indicated that all interpolation methods provided a high prediction accuracy of the mean concentration of soil heavy metals. However, the classic method based on percentages of polluted samples, gave a pollution area 23.54-41.92% larger than that estimated by interpolation methods. The difference in contaminated area estimation among the four methods reached 6.14%. According to the interpolation results, the spatial uncertainty of polluted areas was mainly located in three types of region: (a) the local maxima concentration region surrounded by low concentration (clean) sites, (b) the local minima concentration region surrounded with highly polluted samples; and (c) the boundaries of the contaminated areas. Phase separation of bisphenol A polycarbonate (PC) and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) thin blend film is suppressed by addition of solid epoxy oligomer. Epoxy has strong intermolecular interactions with both PC and PMMA, while PC and PMMA are quite incompatible with each other. Consequently, phase separation in the PC/PMMA blend film pushes epoxy to the interface; at the same time, PC and epoxy react readily at the interface to form a cross-linking structure, binding PMMA chains together. Therefore, the interface between PC and PMMA is effectively reinforced, and the PC/PMMA thin blend film is stabilized against phase separation. On the other hand, only an optimal content of epoxy (i.e., 10 wt %) can serve as an efficient interfacial agent. In contrast to the traditional reactive compatibilization, here we observed that the cross-linking structure along the interface is much more stable than block or graft copolymers. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) is used to characterize the morphological changes of the blend films as a function of annealing time. Two-dimensional fast Fourier transform (2D-FFT) of AFM data allows quantitative investigation of the scaling behavior of phase separation kinetics.
