A aglomeração urbana de Piracicaba: uma análise da integração funcional entre os municípios sob a ótica do movimento pendular

The growth area of cities has resulted in a phenomenon of conurbation (or expressing tendency). This correspond to a combine of two or more urban cores, there are formations of conurbations. In this way, there are the formations of urban concentrations and can achieve the step metropolitan or not metropolitan. Besides, this kind of expansion generates many social and environmental problems related about habitation, rubbish, drain, and others. Piracicaba, a city in expansion, recently, shows evidences of conurbation not metropolitan around itself. Like this, the paulista government, at June, 26 of 2012, institutionalized the Urban Concentration of Piracicaba, a regional unity, intending the administration along with 22 cities. However, for this fact, must be taken into account functional integration among urban centers, because the number of municipalities are presented to compose a urban concentration of level not metropolitan. It has checked along this research, according with proposition about 22 cities. Thus, the objective of this research is identify and analyze the functional integration among participating municipalities through the commuting, in other words, the spatial displacement of people, important factor to be taken into account when defining urban concentration. Considering the displacement routine people, the commuting, also aimed identify the flow of public transport intercity travel among the cities of Piracicaba Regional Unity. Then, analyze the criteria used for establish the Piracicaba Regional Unity, if it was considered technical character or if it was prioritized the political character. To conduct this research, it was done the literature review related to the theme and data collection related lines of intercity transportation and often travel with ARTESP and companies responsible for it service

A seleção dos conteúdos cartográficos presentes na proposta curricular dos cadernos São Paulo faz escola de geografia do 6. ano do ensino fundamental II

Cartography is one of the languages that express the knowledge of the geographic space and, therefore, the official curriculum proposals have highlighted the importance of the geography teaching which articulates its contents with this language in primary education. So, we present an analysis of the content selected to the curriculum mapping specifications of the São Paulo faz escola material, specifically for the 6th year of Elementary School II, version 2009. From the perspective of qualitative research, with instruments and techniques of quantitative and qualitative research, we analyzed documents and observed little concern with the proposition works that present the physical and social characteristics of the state of São Paulo. Also, we noticed the lack of concern with representations in local and regional scales. The research brings many examples on the global scale. It explores few activities using graphics and charts. Despite bringing thematic maps in their entirety, it does not show an example of conical projection as well as cartograms and anamorphosis. A integração da medicina complementar e alternativa em sistemas de saúde convencionais

Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) is becoming increasingly popular, and despite of the growing demand for these practices, physicians and CAM-providers work separately and there is no sufficient effort in the promotion of an integrative health care. Questions like differences of concepts and language, lack of scientific evidence through randomized clinical trials, no regulation of CAM-providers, products and services, besides the lack of government policies in this scope, turn the process of integration difficult and threaten the quality of delivery of health care. Classificação da cobertura da terra da RPPN Foz do Rio Aguapeí: abordagem booleana para a integração de imagens TM-Landsat e dados multifonte

The Companhia Energetica de Sao Paulo - CESP owns six hydroelectric dams in the state of São Paulo. The dams, both in its construction and in operation, cause some environmental impacts, most of them negatives, for example, the flooding in regions before not flooded, deviation of the river’s course, among others, bringing harm to flora and fauna of these environments. As a way to compensating these damages, the CESP has acquired a region that was influenced by Sérgio Motta Hydroelectric Plant Engineer, or Porto Primavera, and turned it into Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural Foz do Rio Aguapeí. By law it fits in a Conservation Unit, and thus should be contemplate for a management plan, ie, a multidisciplinary technical document which allows, simply, the practice of actions within and around in a sustainably way. This work aimed at developing a land cover map of the reserve for this plan can be made and executed more efficiently. Initially, the project included field visits and meetings with members of the CESP to be specified classes contained on the map. Análise das possibilidades de integração entre programas ambientais de usinas hidrelétricas e sistemas de gestão ambiental

A avaliação de impacto ambiental tem sido muitas vezes, vista apenas como um procedimento burocrático para a obtenção da licença ambiental, desconsiderando os estudos realizados, após a aquisição da licença e contratando outros serviços para orientar a adoção de um sistema de gestão objetivando boas práticas ambientais. Porém sabe-se que a estrutura geral das metodologias de avaliação de impacto ambiental apresenta muitos pontos semelhantes se comparada à identificação dos aspectos e impactos ambientais de um sistema de gestão ambiental, o que indica uma interface entre os dois instrumentos apesar da execução integrada ainda não ser um procedimento comum na gestão ambiental de empreendimentos. Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho objetivou analisar as possibilidades do emprego de um sistema de gestão ambiental preconizado pela ISQ 14001 para o gerenciamento de programas ambientais decorrentes de processos de avaliação de impacto ambiental e de licenciamento ambiental de usinas hidrelétricas, através do foco específico naqueles progrmas relacionados diretamente com o monitoramento e o controle da qualidade e da qualidade da água do reservatório, que é um fator essencial para a função de produção de um empreendimento hidrelétrico. Para esta análise, utilizou-se o caso da usina hidrelétrica de Santo Antônio, identificando 9 programas ambientais decorrentes de processos de avaliação de impacto ambiental com grandes possibilidades de serem utilizados na estruturação de sistemas de gestão ambiental de usinas hidrelétricas e cuja adequada execução, corrobora com a integração entre os respectivos instrumentos além de corresponder à necessidade de compatibilização dos instrumentos de política ambiental na busca de um desenvolvimento com adequada proteção ambiental e de uma atuação mais consciente das organizações

Análise do clima organizacional na integração de duas empresas do setor varejista: identificando dificuldades e possibilidades de melhoria

In 2010 two retailers signed an association agreement to gain an advantage in the market, however this association has promoted many changes within the companies. So this study had the objective to analyze the organizational climate, in the integration of companies context, in order to early detect deficiencies that could pose risks to the process of integration. The results collected from the questionnaires revealed the perceptions and expectations of employees regarding the integration of companies and their level of satisfaction with the organization, in addition, the data obtained from interviews allowed us to understand and to find some causes to the level of satisfaction presented by employees. The results made possible to identify strengths as the company‟s image, points of failure in communication and training and dissatisfaction with the workload, then some actions were suggested with the intention to achieve greater engagement and commitment of employees and consequently contribute to the success of the Integration Program. The conclusion of this study is that the changes promoted by the integration of companies impacted in the organizational climate and increased employees dissatisfaction

In this context, interdisciplinarity has an important role, in proposing the contextual integration between the subject content, such as projective geometry and the renaissance. Requalificação das Praças Monsenhor Sarrion e Nove de Julho e o novo Terminal Urbano de Integração

The Center squares of the middle cities many times don’t have adapted forms to the uses, which change time-to-time, then they turn abased. Through the study case of the Squares Monsenhor Sarrion and Nove de Julho, public squares on Presidente Prudente downtown, where many types of uses occur in the same space with function of organization and reception of several fluxes generated because the centrality caused from downtown. In this context, is necessary re-project the squares, with new purpose of an urban and landscape project, which generates harmonic spaces of passage and permanence, which values the public edifications in the around areas and re-qualified the form of the squares, adapting to the new uses: To organize the public transportation traffic, the urban terminal; to organize the vehicles traffic, the lowering of the Avenue Coronel Marcondes and, mainly, to organize the traffic of pedestrian, the continuity and the physic integration of the squares, through new forms, urban furniture and design to the downtown public spaces

Com Vivência: incentivo à integração do idoso através da valorização do espaço público

Este trabalho apresenta a elaboração de um projeto de intervenção arquitetônica e urbanística no município de Bastos/SP que busca incentivar a integração do idoso na sociedade, propondo a valorização de um espaço público, de forma a proporcionar uma melhor qualidade de vida tanto da população idosa quanto das outras faixas etárias. Para tanto, foi necessário realizar discussões bibliográficas sobre o idoso e a sociedade e sobre espaços livres públicos e lazer contemporâneo. A partir dos levantamentos da área de intervenção e da aplicação de questionários, foram propostas diretrizes gerais e um projeto arquitetônico e urbanístico de praça pública, mantendo o conceito inicial de incentivo à integração do idoso, além da apropriação, valorização e utilização do espaço público

The central focus of this study is to identify the characteristics of an integration program, as well as the grounds on which it is based. Concepção e Implementação de um Sistema de Controle de Arborização Urbana através da Integração de Softwares Livres e de Código Aberto

Suitable computacional tools allow to build applications that can link information to its physical location, and represent them into visual and interactive schemes, e ectively reaching the power of visual comunication. This leads the user to synthesize information in a simple and e cient way. These applications are linked to the de nition of Geographic Information System (GIS). GIS are comprised by many concepts and tools, which have the main purpose of collecting, storing, viewing and processing spatial data, obtaining the information needed for decision making. Within this context, this paper presents the Conception and Implementation of a Control System for Urban Forestry through Integration of Free and Open Source Software. This conception arose from the need of an Environmental Project developed by the Agriculture's House of the city of Regente Feij o, which has as main objectives cataloging and management of urban a orestation of the municipality. Due to this diversity of concepts, the challenge in building this system is the integration of platforms that are involved in all stages: collecting and storage of data, including maps and other spatial information, operations on the stored information, obtaining results and graphical visualization of the same. After implementation, it was possible to provide for the system users an improvement in the capacity of perception in the information analysis and facilitate the process of decision making

Arquitetura da infraestrutura urbana: o terminal de integração

Um dos maiores problemas relacionados ao quotidiano das médias e grandes cidades é o trânsito e por meio dele percebemos os conflitos de circulação urbana e se os meios de transportes fluem de forma satisfatória. Segundo Vasconcellos (1999), transporte público é um conjunto de elementos físicos que se distribui espacialmente, atendendo a população que dele depende. Localizada no oeste do Estado de São Paulo a cidade de Presidente Prudente enfrenta, hoje, um grave problema no tocante à circulação e à eficiência dos meios de transportes públicos, sendo esse oneroso para a população que o usufrui. Em termos proporcionais a tarifa por quilômetro rodado é muito elevada, em comparação às grandes cidades do Estado de São Paulo e do Brasil. Sendo o transporte público parte essencial de uma cidade, o seu funcionamento deve estar de acordo com o crescimento da mesma e atender qualitativamente e quantitativamente seus usuários, propondo um adequado uso do espaço urbano. Diante de tal realidade, o projeto tem, por objetivo, fomentar a proposta de implantação de terminal urbano de transporte público, baseado no redesenho viário da principal centralidade da cidade... A crise na sociedade do trabalho e sua importância na contextualização dos conteúdos curriculares do ensino médio

This article has as objective to discuss some topics concerning the supposed crisis of the society of the work and its consequences for the debate in social sciences and also for the work category contextualization in the secondary school curriculum. As the work has represented an important explanation category for the classic social thought, the contemporary paradigm of deep metamorphoses in the world of the work and the advent of the new question (CASTELS, 1995; ROSANVALLON, 1995) backward the necessity to rethink the theoretical shades that base the interpretation of the social life on the current context, when the center position of the work is being questioned. Having taken some theoretical references from the sociology of the work, we search to delineate on a brief way the quarrel about the dimensions of the social and political phenomena these days and the importance of this debate on the contextualization of the secondary school curriculum contents.
