The South Carolina State Ports Authority published an annual report with information about the board and senior management, independent auditor report, and financial statements. This annual report ceased after 2005, although they still publish annual financial statements.

Robert M. Ward Photograph Collection - Accession 502

The Robert M. Ward Photograph Collection consists of approximately 400 prints and 900 negatives from the photographs that he took in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. Most of the events and individuals pictured are from the York County, SC area and include the Latta House in York, South Carolina, downtown Rock Hill, parades, baseball, military, aviation, sports, and other York County buildings and scenes. Also included are photographs of Landsford Canal State Park, York Technical College, Winthrop University, Catawba Indian chieftain King Haigler’s memorial, Andrew Jackson State Park, Kings Mountain State Park, Hall of Fame Golfer Sam Sneed's visit to Rock Hill, SC, and Charleston, South Carolina. The collection also contains newspaper articles from the York Observer, dated from 1988 to 1992, which helped to identify some of the people and events in the pictures.

Episcopal Church Home For Children Records - Accession 31

The Episcopal Church Home For Children Records are a valuable source on the Church’s historical effort to extend its services for the social improvement of South Carolina (in this case the Episcopal Diocese’s program for destitute children.) The Episcopal Church Home was established in 1850 in Charleston, S.C. for orphan girls and was chartered by the S.C. General Assembly in 1852. The collection consists of a history, minutes, reports of the annual meetings, general correspondence, superintendent’s records, health records, attendance registers, financial records, newsletters (both bound and unbound), and photographs.

Christine South Gee Papers - Accession 10

The Christine South Gee Papers include family histories; biographical data; annual reports of home demonstration work in South Carolina (1920-1922) compiled by Mrs. Gee; speeches; magazine articles (1935-1963); newspaper clippings (1934-1968); photographs (1903-1954) and certificates of awards. The collection primarily pertains to Mrs. Gee’s work as South Carolina State Home Demonstration Agent (1918-1923); her role in the formation of the South Carolina Extension Homemakers’ Council (1921), formerly the South Carolina Council of Farm Women; her activities as president of the South Carolina Council for the Common Good (1943-1945); her study of development in programs for adult education and rural women; and her historical interest in South Carolina statesmen and political leaders. Family histories include information on the Puckett, Smith, Martin, Hudgens, McNeese, Rodgers, and Saxon families.

Letters from Samuel Gilman to William Tudor,

Four letters on topics including Gilman’s literary work, his upcoming move to Charleston, South Carolina, to become pastor of a Unitarian church, and his impressions of the city once there, as well as subscriptions for Tudor’s work on James Otis.

Bound with this copy are: "A supplemental catalogue ... of all the books ... procured by the Charleston library society, since the publication of the first volume of their catalogue in 1826", Charleston, 1831; and the "Catalogue of the library of the South Carolina college ... 1836."
