Syftet med den här studien är att undersöka hur jämställdhet har behandlats i förhållande till övriga sociala kategorier i översiktsplaneringen. Vidare är syftet att undersöka om detta skiljer sig åt mellan olika typer av kommuner och över tid. Studien bygger på en intersektionell ansats och urvalet bygger på tidigare teorier kring genuskontrakt där fem kommuner i varje genuskontraktstyp inkluderas. Kommunernas översiktsplaner, både aktuella och äldre, studeras genom att genomföra en kvantitativ textanalys där sociala kategoriers utrymme undersöks och en diskursanalys där beskrivningen av sociala kategorier studeras. Resultatet visar att tio sociala kategorier inkluderas i översiktsplaneringen. Jämställdhet har gått från att få näst minst utrymme i de äldre översiktsplanerna till att idag få näst mest utrymme jämfört med övriga sociala kategorier. Jämställdhet beskrivs på liknande sätt som barn, funktionshindrade och äldre att gynnas av en nära, funktionsblandad stad med fungerande kollektivtrafik. Vilket genuskontrakt en kommun har påverkar främst hur kommunerna beskriver jämställdhet, mångfald och äldre.

Endometrios är en kronisk sjukdom som drabbar en av tio kvinnor världen över. Vanliga symptom är menstruationssmärta, samlagssmärta och en nedsatt fertilitet. Diagnosen endometrios ställs oftast i samband med en titthålsoperation och kan i många fall dröja upp till flera år. Tidigare forskning på området har funnit att individer som lever med endometrios kan uppleva en minskad livskvalité, komplikationer med sociala relationer samt emotionella besvär. Syftet med föreliggande studie var att studera kvinnors upplevelse av endometrios. Åtta kvinnor intervjuades, samtliga bosatta i Stockholmsområdet. Resultatet visar på flera olika psykologiska aspekter som sjukdomen för med sig. En minskad livskvalité, komplikationer med sociala relationer och en nedsatt arbetsförmåga är aspekter som påverkas av de upplevda symptomen. En nedsatt fertilitet kan vidare skapa en reducering av individens självkänsla. Slutsatsen är att en tidigare diagnos och ökad forskning skulle kunna bidra till underlättande av endometriosdrabbades vardag och därmed förbättra deras livskvalité.

This study examined the mediating influence of trust in organization (TIO) and organization-based self-esteem (OBSE) on the relationship between perceived organization support (POS) and its work outcomes. Data were obtained from employee–supervisor dyads from multiple organizations located in a major city in southern China. Structural equation modeling results revealed that: (a) POS related to TIO and OBSE and (b) TIO and OBSE fully mediated the relationship between POS and the work outcomes of organizational commitment and in-role performance, but partially mediated the POS–organizational citizenship behavior relationship.

A family of titania derived nanocomposites synthesized via sol-gel and hydrothermal routes exhibit excellent performance for the photocatalytic degradation of two important exemplar water pollutants, oxytetracycline and Congo Red. Low loadings of Co3O4 nanoparticles dispersed over the surfaces of anatase TiO2 confer visible light photoactivity for the aqueous phase decomposition of organics through the resulting heterojunction and reduced band gap. Subsequent modification of these Co3O4/TiO2 composites by trace amounts of graphene oxide nanosheets in the presence of a diamine linker further promotes both oxytetracycline and Congo Red photodegradation under simulated solar and visible irradiation, through a combination of enhanced photoresponse and consequent radical generation. Radical quenching and fluorescence experiments implicate holes and hydroxyl radicals as the respective primary and secondary active species responsible for oxidative photodegradation of pollutants.

Nanocystalline TiO2 particles were successfully synthesized on porous hosts (SBA-15 and ZSM-15) via a sol-gel impregnation method. Resulting nanocomposites were characterized by XRD, TEM, BET surface analysis, Raman and UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, and their photocatalytic activity for H2 production evaluated. XRD evidences the formation of anatase nanoparticles over both ZSM-5 and SBA-15 porous supports, with TEM highlighting a strong particle size dependence on titania precursor concentration. Photocatalytic activities of TiO2/ZSM-5 and TiO2/SBA-15 composites were significantly enhanced compared to pure TiO2, owing to the smaller TiO2 particle size and higher surface area of the former. TiO2 loadings over the porous supports and concomitant photocatalytic hydrogen production were optimized with respect to light absorption, available surface reaction sites and particle size. 10%TiO2/ZSM-5 and 20%TiO2/SBA-15 proved the most active photocatalysts, exhibiting extraordinary hydrogen evolution rates of 10,000 and 8800μmolgTiO2 -1 h-1 under full arc, associated with high external quantum efficiencies of 12.6% and 5.4% respectively under 365nm irradiation.

Volunteered Service Composition (VSC) refers to the process of composing volunteered services and resources. These services are typically published to a pool of voluntary resources. The composition aims at satisfying some objectives (e.g. Utilizing storage and eliminating waste, sharing space and optimizing for energy, reducing computational cost etc.). In cases when a single volunteered service does not satisfy a request, VSC will be required. In this paper, we contribute to three approaches for composing volunteered services: these are exhaustive, naïve and utility-based search approach to VSC. The proposed new utility-based approach, for instance, is based on measuring the utility that each volunteered service can provide to each request and systematically selects the one with the highest utility. We found that the utility-based approach tend to be more effective and efficient when selecting services, while minimizing resource waste when compared to the other two approaches.

Volunteered Service Composition (VSC) refers to the process of composing volunteered services and resources. These services are typically published to a pool of voluntary resources. Selection and composition decisions tend to encounter numerous uncertainties: service consumers and applications have little control of these services and tend to be uncertain about their level of support for the desired functionalities and non-functionalities. In this paper, we contribute to a self-awareness framework that implements two levels of awareness, Stimulus-awareness and Time-awareness. The former responds to basic changes in the environment while the latter takes into consideration the historical performance of the services. We have used volunteer service computing as an example to demonstrate the benefits that self-awareness can introduce to self-adaptation. We have compared the Stimulus-and Time-awareness approaches with a recent Ranking approach from the literature. The results show that the Time-awareness level has the advantage of satisfying higher number of requests with lower time cost.

This paper provides the most fully comprehensive evidence to date on whether or not monetary aggregates are valuable for forecasting US inflation in the early to mid 2000s. We explore a wide range of different definitions of money, including different methods of aggregation and different collections of included monetary assets. In our forecasting experiment we use two nonlinear techniques, namely, recurrent neural networks and kernel recursive least squares regressiontechniques that are new to macroeconomics. Recurrent neural networks operate with potentially unbounded input memory, while the kernel regression technique is a finite memory predictor. The two methodologies compete to find the best fitting US inflation forecasting models and are then compared to forecasts from a nave random walk model. The best models were nonlinear autoregressive models based on kernel methods. Our findings do not provide much support for the usefulness of monetary aggregates in forecasting inflation. Beyond its economic findings, our study is in the tradition of physicists' long-standing interest in the interconnections among statistical mechanics, neural networks, and related nonparametric statistical methods, and suggests potential avenues of extension for such studies. © 2010 Elsevier B.V. Dimethyl methyl phosphonate (DMMP), diethyl methyl phosphonate (DEMP), and fluorophenols undergo rapid decomposition upon TiO$\sb2$ catalyzed photooxidation in air saturated aqueous solution. The degradation rates of DMMP were determined over a range of temperatures, under solar and artificial irradiation with and without simultaneous sonication. Solar illumination is effective for the degradation and the use of low energy of sonication increases the rate of mineralization. The surface area and the type of TiO$\sb2$ dramatically affect the photoactivity of the catalyst. A number of intermediate products are formed and ultimately oxidized to phosphate and carbon dioxide. Possible reaction mechanisms and pathways for DMMP and DEMP are proposed. The Langmuir-Hinshelwood kinetic parameters for the photocatalysis of fluorophenols suggest modestly different reactivity for each isomer. The adsorption constant is largest for the ortho isomer consistent with the adsorption onto TiO$\sb2$ through both hydroxyl and fluoride groups to form a chelated type structure. ^

To better understand high pressure behavior of solids, both silicates and oxides have been investigated to clarify the high pressure melting, phase transformations and thermal parameters as well as their size dependences, both theoretically and experimentally. ^ To judge the precision of data determined experimentally, the reliabilities of different high pressure techniques have been discussed. A thermodynamic model has been developed and demonstrated to be able to closely reproduce the melting of solids by comparison between results calculated and data obtained experimentally, including metals (Al, Ni and Pt), Silicates (Mg3Al 2Si3O12 and CaMgSi2O6), Halides (NaCl, CsCl and LiF) and Oxides (MgO, FeO and Al2O3). The melting data obtained have been discussed to address the dynamics of the Earth's interior. ^ Results obtained with Raman spectroscopy and x-ray diffraction show that solids including silicates (andradite and pyrope) and oxides (CeO2 and TiO2) undergo a series of pressure-induced phase transformations. The effects of particle size under high pressures have been investigated. The results obtained indicate that the reduction of particle size leads to the enhancement of the bulk modulus and a significant decrease of transition pressure in TiO2 (rutile) and CeO2. The pressure-induced amorphization in anatase also results from the size effects. ^ Combining the data obtained with global seismic tomography, the physics and chemistry of the Earth's mantle and the dynamics of the core-mantle interaction have been discussed. The high pressure phases of Al3+- and Fe3+-bearing minerals play important roles in the dynamics of the lower mantle. ^

This study develops a reading of five tales of Guimarães Rosa: “A hora e vez de Augusto Matraga”, “Campo Geral”, “A Benfazeja”, “Esses Lopes” and “Meu tio o Iauaretê”, included, respectively, in Sagarana, Corpo de Baile, Primeiras Estórias, Tutaméia and Estas Estórias. Then, undertakes a brief course in order to observe in the creative genesis of the author a manichean theme, whose view of the world, with poetic intensity, opposes the good and the evil. This research thus has drawn upon the Mythical Symbolism, in Literary Criticism and aspects of Metaphisics, in addition to analyzing classic literary essays in approaching of histories masterpiece structure. It has also demonstrate that in the rosiano hinterland the contradictory contributes to the speculation about the human man, in the continuous learning of his passing

This is a metamorphic study of mid-P anatectic aluminous gneisses from the Manicouagan and lac du Milieu areas of the central Grenville Province. The rocks are derived from hydrothermally altered felsic protoliths and were metamorphosed at granulite facies conditions during the Grenvillian orogeny. The samples come from three locations separated by several tens of kilometers and exhibit a wide range of textures and bulk compositions. However, they all have the same peak mineral assemblage: garnet + biotite + quartz + K-feldspar +/- plagioclase +/- sillimanite with retrograde cordierite in some, and show evidence of partial melting and melt loss. In terms of mineralogy and bulk composition, the samples were divided into two groups, sillimanite-rich and sillimanite-poor, with a high and low Alumina index in the AFM space, respectively. Phase equilibria modeling in the Na₂O–CaO–K₂O–FeO–MgO–Al₂O₃–SiO₂–H₂O– TiO₂–O (NCKFMASTHO) system using Thermocalc constrained the P–T field of the peak mineral assemblage at 800–900ºC and 6–11kbar, with melt solidification in the range of 800–865ºC and 6–8kbar. The presence of sillimanite inclusions in garnet, and of only scarce, retrograde cordierite, is consistent with moderate dP/dT gradient ‘hairpin’ P– T paths, which were similar between the three locations. This study also investigated the role of Fe3+ on phase stability in mid-P aluminous systems. Fe³⁺ is problematic because although it is incorporated in the NaCKFMASTHO system, it is rarely measured in modeled minerals and rocks and its value is generally assumed. Biotite may contain significant amounts of Fe³⁺, and these were analysed by Mössbauer spectroscopy in selected samples, where they were found to be low (0-4%). In addition, the effect of increasing the bulk Fe³⁺ in the mid-P portion of phase diagrams was modeled. This increase added new minor phases and changed the phase proportions, as well as shifted phase boundaries to a small degree, but P–T paths remained largely unaffected. Finally, the two methods commonly used in phase equilibria modeling to account for melt loss were compared. In some cases there were major differences in the topologies between the ‘melt reintegration’ and ‘adding water’ methods, but the former method is the most consistent with the rock data, and should be the method of choice.
