Ensino e aprendizagem do atletismo nas escolas públicas estaduais de Bauru a partir do currículo de educação física do estado de São Paulo

Athletics in most of its history, turned to competition, giving it little pedagogical knowledge, prevailing knowledge grounded in records, indexes and competitions. Thus, although it is considered a classic content of Physical Education, this modality is still not widespread in schools. The present study aimed to investigate possible progress in the teaching and learning of athletics in the State Schools of Bauru from the implementation of the Curriculum of the State of São Paulo for Teaching Physical Education. We attempted to checking the perspective of teachers and students, the changes in teaching and learning as well as difficulties encountered from the deployment. To that end, we conducted survey of the theoretical and practical alternatives developed by Physical Education teachers, about athletics theme, since the implementation of the Curriculum of the State of São Paulo for the Teaching of Physical Education in 2008, in seven (7) state schools in Bauru-Sao Paulo, randomly chosen, prioritizing different regions of the county. There was the purpose of investigating, through questionnaires, interviews (applied to teachers and students), what progress has been achieved with regard to the approach of collegiate athletics in the teaching/learning process, if there are difficulties, what are these and how they could be addressed in order to improve teaching and learning in school athletics. The collected data were analyzed comparatively, before and after implementation of the Curriculum of the State of São Paulo for Physical Education, gathering and specifying negative and/or positive aspects raised by teachers and students. It was concluded that the students' knowledge of the sport has increased, but the practice of sport is still far from being normal to them, doing so is necessary to include content from the earliest school years. Instrumentos antigos para o ensino de física: o tubo de Newton e seu uso no passado

O objetivo deste estudo é buscar compreender aspectos do trabalho experimental no ensino de Física no Brasil no passado, focalizando um instrumento antigo - o tubo de Newton. Considerando que a partir da Reforma Francisco Campos, em 1931, houve uma expansão do ensino secundário brasileiro e um aumento da presença de disciplinas científicas no currículo desse curso, examinamos as recomendações oficiais para o ensino de Física de 1931até 1961, quando foi promulgada a primeira Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional. Procuramos investigar como o uso do tubo de Newton aparece em livros didáticos de Física para a educação secundária, editados em nosso país, no período delimitado. Em nossas conclusões consideramos que o conhecimento histórico pode ajudar a compreender aspectos relevantes a respeito do papel da experimentação no ensino de Física em nossos dias.

The choice Brazilian african study theme in the general education, and particularly in physical education has not advanced as to be themed with the subject matter. Even open to this issue, in 2003 a law was passed introducing an obligation of racial ethnic correlations in Brazil. Law 10.639, changed the LDB (Guidelines and Framework Act, 1996) and establishing the obligation both in elementary school as high school, public and private, the teaching of history and African Culture and African Brazilian. As the main objective of disseminating the importance of valuing the African culture and its legacy, expanding the looks and the knowledge about the culture and history of a people who often are discriminated against and excluded by society. The questions that arise are the following: The physical education teacher know that prerogative? Incorporates the Brazilian african discussion in their classes? Discusses with students these subjects related to corporal practices? Have difficulty in dealing with this issue? What? Thus the aim of this study was to detect whether and how a group of physical education teachers is the Brazilian african theme in their classes, for the fulfillment of the Law 10.639 / 03. The methodology of this study was qualitative descriptive type. Were used for data collection semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation. The data obtained through interviews with teachers were transcribed, reviewed and classified according to the content analysis. Ensino de física e energia: estudo de possibilidades didáticas na educação básica

This monograph has the inspiring theme of the Energy education, concept of extreme importance to physics, but that is rarely addressed in Brazilian schools. We bring a discussion of the problems faced in teaching this subject and present this analysis of how this issue is addressed in some textbooks that are part of the material available to students of basic education in our country. We also discuss a didactic proposal to the Physics Teaching using for this experiment. The proposal considers the student protagonist of the learning process being the builder of his own knowledge. For this proposal selected three experiments (solar plate, looping and looping coffee cups) analyzed from the point of view of energy that have the intention to leave this clearer content and close to the students. Profissão professor: olhares de professores de Educação Física escolar

No presente artigo abordou-se o processo de profissionalização e formação acadêmica em Educação Física, buscando evidenciar as implicações surgidas em decorrência da trajetória de formação do professor dessa área. Embora esta se configure também como uma profissão docente, sua história apresenta particularidades com relação às outras áreas da docência escolar. Diante disto, o objetivo do estudo consistiu em estabelecer um diálogo entre as dimensões da profissionalização e da formação de professores de Educação Física para auxiliar na compreensão da situação atual da disciplina e do processo de construção da profissionalidade docente. Em articulação com a revisão da literatura foram discutidas as concepções de um grupo representativo de professores de Educação Física escolar da rede pública de ensino estadual de São Paulo - Brasil, coletadas por intermédio de entrevistas semi-estruturadas. Constatou-se que para os depoentes persistem, ainda, equívocos no imaginário da comunidade escolar a respeito do valor e da função da disciplina Educação Física para o desenvolvimento do alunado, sendo a disciplina freqüentemente indicada como sinônimo de esporte. Entende-se que a compreensão da trajetória dessa profissão até o momento (que pode ser considerada uma profissão recente), assim como os fatores que contribuíram para a desvalorização do professor da área, são importantes recursos para começar a pensar o futuro. Concluiu-se que cabe, especialmente, à formação docente constituir-se num componente que efetivamente contribua para a (re)construção da profissionalidade do professor e para a legitimação da disciplina Educação Física no campo educacional.

Ensino de física com histórias em quadrinhos: o astronauta em magnetar

This monograph has the inspiring theme using Comic Books in physics education. The Comic Books are objects, which are part of our current daily life, in newspaper, magazines, comics and electronic media, and providing entertainment to the readers. Beyond this property, the ludic nature and linguistics become an interesting material when applied on Education. Our goal was to research an analyze a Comic Book that could be used in a Physics class. The chosen material was Astronauta Magnetar from Danilo Beyruth. With this Comic Book, we perform a short course with students from three High School grade, where the themes of labor were Astrophysics and Electromagnetism. From the results of this short course, we prepared a lot of comments and discussions about the role of Comic Books in a classroom, as an significant instrument for Physics Education

Propostas e currículos estaduais de educação física, avanços e limites no trato de futebol

Football is a sporting phenomenon that unites the collective to individual, because besides the needs of teamwork, it requires several physical individual abilities. The unpredictability of each match turns it into a fascinating and unique sport. Indeed, this is the most popular and admired sport in all over the world, covering a huge amount of fans and practitioners. Curriculum documents are a new and unprecedented fact in history of Physical Education, so it sought as study object investigate and analyze is being treated in many curriculums proposes of seven Brazilian States (Goiás, Maranhão, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Sergipe e São Paulo) and the Distrito Federal. This study has a qualitative character, using documentary research, because it consists by analyze of curriculum documents. As results, stands out the difference between guiding principles in curriculums. However, all of them are based in a new perspective of Physical Education. With regard to the objectives, was evidenced a consensus among the documents examined, which target as Physical Education objective the formation of critical and autonomous individual, besides your insertion in body culture movements, body culture or movement culture. The results showed that all documents, except of Distrito Federal, mention football as content, only Pernambuco, Sergipe and São Paulo showed a further deepening in the theme. Thus, it is believed that it is essential for a better unfolding of football in Physical Education classes a understanding by the students about this sport, not just as a mere act of running after a ball, but as a social phenomenon broad and contextualized

Uma proposta do uso do computador como ferramenta inclusiva de deficientes visuais em aulas de física.

Ao longo da História, a concepção a cerca da deficiência visual e do próprio deficiente vem sofrendo mudanças significativas. Podemos dividi-la em três fases: mística, Biológica e Científica. Nessa última, surgida na Idade Média, o cego passou a ser visto como um ser social, lançando as bases para um processo de inclusão. Trazendo para o Ensino de Física, o processo de inclusão só se tornará possível quando superarmos alguns obstáculos, como a relação entre conhecer um fenômeno físico e ver esse fenômeno, e o predomínio de atividades passivas à participativas. O presente trabalho é parte integrante de um projeto de doutorado, cuja proposta é investigar as potencialidades e limitações de softwares leitores de tela, e avaliar suas possibilidades de integração com as modalidades de ensino utilizadas em aulas de Física, sugerindo estratégias alternativas para a inclusão desses alunos ao mundo da Física.
