Perfil logístico del sector cemento en Colombia

Este proyecto caracteriza la logística del sector cemento en Colombia al identificar y describir los principales actores, procesos y materiales involucrados en la cadena de suministros del sector. Este documento compila la información logística relevante para la producción de cemento en Colombia. Esta información se obtuvo sintetizando estudios y reportes acerca de las prácticas logísticas y las condiciones en las que éstas se desarrollan. Adicionalmente se realizaron visitas empresariales en diferentes plantas de producción de cemento y entrevistas semiestructuradas a expertos en logística de los diferentes eslabones. Con la información primaria y secundaria se caracteriza del producto, las materias primas e insumos necesarios para la producción de cemento. Se identifican los principales agentes que componen el sector y se describen los procesos logísticos relacionados con el cemento en cada uno de ellos. Para las cementeras y canteras se hace un análisis de entradas y salidas de los procesos principales de su cadena de valor. Adicionalmente se expone la operación de transporte como un elemento clave en el sector y se presentan las simulaciones de fletes, rutas y cubicaje. Por último, se incluye un caso de optimización de transporte aplicando teorías de investigación de operaciones.

Análisis sobre los obstáculos para la construcción de una política pública penitenciaria en Colombia (1998-2014)

Desde 1998 la Corte Constitucional ha declarado en dos ocasiones “el estado de las cosas inconstitucional” ante las precarias condiciones del Sistema Nacional Penitenciario y Carcelario (SNPC), sin embargo, los esfuerzos institucionales por superar dicho estado han tenido efectos nulos o limitados. Prueba de ello son las altas tasas de hacinamiento y reincidencia que siguen manifestándose crónicamente por el deficiente funcionamiento del sistema. Precisamente este diagnóstico con alternativas de solución presume que esta situación se debe a la ausencia de una política pública integral, al partir de la identificación de los principales obstáculos para la construcción de una política pública penitenciaria en Colombia entre los años de 1998 y 2014. El ejercicio antes mencionado se apoya en la utilización de dos herramientas metodológicas a saber: el análisis estructural “MICMAC” y el análisis de involucrados. De los resultados arrojados por estos métodos se elaboran así mismo tres recomendaciones sobre política pública penitenciaria.

General relationships between pressure, weight, and mass of a hydrostatic fluid

In curved geometries the hydrostatic pressure in a fluid does not equal the weight per unit area of the fluid above it. General weight–pressure and mass–pressure relationships for hydrostatic fluids in any geometry are derived. As an example of the mass–pressure relationship, we find a geometric reduction in surface pressure as large as 5 mbar on Earth and 39 mbar on Titan. We also present a thermodynamic interpretation of the geometric correction which, as a corollary, provides an independent proof of the hydrostatic relationship for general geometries.

The reaction of methyl radical with nitrogen atom on the triplet potential energy surface: A CCSD(T)/CBS characterization

CCSD(T)/cc-pVnZ (n = D, T, Q) calculations followed by extrapolations to the CBS limit are used to characterize stationary states of species participating in the N((4)S) + CH(3) (2A ``) reaction on the triplet PES. A mechanistic model is investigated and reaction rates are computed for every step and the overall reaction. Our best CBS estimate (1.93 x 10(10) cm(3) molecule(1) s(1)) for the overall rate constant leading to the formation of H(2)CN + H compares well with the experimental values (8.5 x 10 (11) and 1.3 x 10(10) cm(3) molecule(1) s(1)), thus reducing significantly the discrepancy of a previous theoretical result (9.1 x 10(12) cm(3) molecule(1) s(1)). Förekomst av peri-implantit 3 år efter Implantatinstallationen vid Centrum Oral Rehabilitering Parodontologi : En retrospektiv, beskrivande och jämförande journalstrudie

Implantatförankrad protetik har blivit ett vanligt behandlingsalternativ vid tandförlust.Tänder som förlorats på grund av karies, aplasi, trauma (olycksfall) eller parodontit (tandlossning) kan idag på många patienter ersättas med hjälp av implantat det vill säga en konstgjord tandrot av titan. Ett eller flera implantat opereras/installeras in i käkbenet och förses därefter med en krona, en bro eller en protes.Vävnaden runt implantatet kan drabbas av infektion på liknande sätt som vävnaden runt naturliga tänder och kallas då periimplantit. Detta är en reversibel inflammatorisk process i mjukvävnaden runt ett implantat med förlust av benvävnad.Syftet med studien var att beskriva förekomst av periimplantit hos patienter som erhållit implantat åren 2000-2001 vid Centrum Oral Rehabilitering, Parodontologi, samt förekomst av eventuella skillnader i periimplantit med avseende på rökvanor, kön och tidigare parodontal diagnos.Studien var en retrospektiv, beskrivande jämförande journalstudie.Totalt granskades 100 journaler, 80 journaler exkluderades då inte röntgenbilder togs tre år efter fixtur/implantat installation. Resultatet visade att 13 var kvinnor (65 %), 8 rökare (40 %) och 11 (55 %) personer hade remitterats för tidigare förekomst av parodontit.63 implantat installerades på 20 patienter. Periimplantit uppstod vid 8 implantat (13 %). Dessa implantat fanns hos 8 olika patienter, 5 var kvinnor, 5 rökare och 5 hade remitterats för parodontal diagnos. Något statistiskt samband kunde inte påvisas mellan förekomst av periimplantit och kön, rökvanor eller tidigare parodontal diagnos.Konklusionen: Förekomst av periimplantit under åren 2000-2001 var 13 %, vilket stämmer med tidigare studier.

Desenvolvimento de microemulsões contendo fotoprotetores inorgânicos nanoparticulador

The inorganic actives, represented mainly by microfine zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, have shown great potential to protect against large UV spectrum. The aim of this study is the development, characterization and analysis of stability in the short term of microemulsions containing inorganic fotoprotection agents. The microemulsions identified by the phases diagram containing the metallic oxides were produced by two different methods and subjected to the centrifugation test and thermal stress cycles, and subsequently characterized by macroscopic evaluation, test dilution, electrical conductivity, pH, particle size, and zeta potential. This study highlights the influence of the metal oxides addition in the structure and distribution of micelles in the microemulsions

On the stability of hypothetical satellites coorbital to Mimas or Enceladus

In the present work, we study the stability of hypothetical satellites that are coorbital with Enceladus and Mimas. We performed numerical simulations of 50 particles around the triangular Lagrangian equilibrium points of Enceladus and Mimas taking into account the perturbation of Mimas, Enceladus, Tethys, Dione, Titan and the oblateness of Saturn. All particles remain on tadpole orbits after 10 000 yr of integration. Since in the past the orbit of Enceladus and Mimas expanded due to the tidal perturbation, we also simulated the system with Enceladus and Mimas at several different values of semimajor axes. The results show that in general the particles remain on tadpole orbits. The exceptions occur when Enceladus is at semimajor axes that correspond to 6:7, 5:6 and 4:5 resonances with Mimas. Therefore, if Enceladus and Mimas had satellites librating around their Lagrangian triangular points in the past, they would have been removed if Enceladus crossed one of these first-order resonances with Mimas.

Efeito da monocultura de dendezeiro (Elaeis guineensis JACQ.) na integridade física e nas assembleias de peixes de igarapés da Amazônia Oriental

O objetivo da presente dissertação é avaliar o efeito do cultivo de dendezeiro Elaeis guineenses JACQ. na integridade física e nas assembleias de peixes de igarapés de terra firme da Amazônia Oriental. Os sítios de amostragem foram estabelecidos em trechos (150 m) de 23 igarapés da bacia do rio Acará-Mirim, Nordeste do Estado do Pará distribuídos em áreas de drenagem com floresta primária até áres de plantio de dendezeiro. De acordo com os resultados do índice de integridade física (IIF), dos 23 igarapés amostrados, todos que drenam áreas de fragmentos florestais foram classificados como íntegros (IIF = 5,00 – 4,00), enquanto que os 15 igarapés que drenam plantações de dendezeiro foram classificados como alterados (IIF = 3,67 – 2,67). Foram coligidos 9.734 espécimes de peixes pertencentes a seis ordens, 24 famílias, distribuídos em 64 espécies. As espécies mais abundantes durante o estudo foram Microcharacidium weitzmani, Apistogramma gr. regani, Trichomycterus hasemani, Hyphessobrycon heterorhabdus e Copella arnoldi. A riqueza observada em igarapés que drenam plantações foi superior (S = 61) a encontrada em igarapés que drenam fragmentos florestais (S = 42). Os resultados da PERMANOVA evidenciam que existe diferença entre os ambientes amostrados (G.L. = 22; pseudo-F = 2,44; P = 0,01), no entanto, o ordenamento produzido pelo NMDS demonstra que essa diferença é sutil (stress = 0,19), pois apenas três espécies são exclusivas de florestas e 22 exclusivas de áreas de palmeiras de dendezeiro. Resultado semelhante foi obtido utilizando-se a abundância dos grupos tróficos funcionais (GTF) (stress = 0,18). Os resultados do TITAN indicam que algumas espécies apresentam adaptações para persistir em determinadas situações ambientais, como por exemplo, Aequidens tetramrus, Apistogramma agassizii e Microcharacidium weitzmani que estão associadas a igarapés que drenam plantações de dendezeiro e são boas indicadoras de locais com menor integridade do hábitat físico (P < 0,05; pureza > 0,95; confiabilidade > 0,95), enquanto que as espécies Hyphessobrycon heterorhabdus e Helogenes marmoratus demonstaram ser indicadoras de hábitats mais íntegros (P < 0,05; pureza > 0,95; confiabilidade > 0,95). Não houve correlação entre a riqueza de espécies de peixes e o índice de integridade física, enquanto que os únicos grupos tróficos funcionais que apresentaram correlação com o índice de integridade física foram os escavadores e coletores navegadores. Esses grupos são compostos por peixes da família Cichlidae que apresentam comportamentos tolerantes e generalistas que podem ter explicado sua grande contribuição na assembleia de peixes mesmo em locais onde a sedimentação foi alta comparada aos locais com a configuração mais próxima do natural. Isso evidencia que mesmo a riqueza de espécies sendo maior em igarapés alterados há fortes indícios de perda de qualidade ambiental nos igarapés que drenam plantações gerada pelo cultivo de dendezeiro.

Sobre a idade das crises: as inter-relações sujeito-identidade-feminismo na pós-modernidade

This essay intends to think critically and theoretically on the interrelations among subject, identity, and Feminism in the context of Postmodernity, a context which will be herein denominated ―Age of Crises. These three aspects will be approached under a Historical perspective and put into question in a philosophical sight guided by Post-structuralistic theories, especially Derridian Deconstruction. In general, the main objective is to reach into a discussion about the undecidable inter-relation between Feminist thinking and Postmodernity, which is one of the configurations of the many contemporary crises. In order to do so, it will be necessary a previous discussion on the postmodern subject and its identity. This discussion will open up the possibility of contextualizing and discussing Feminism inside the intended objective. This discussion will be structured around the word ―crises which, in a compositional relation to the word ―age, will be taken as a synonym for ―Postmodernity and ―contemporary. ―Age of Crises, ―Postmodernity, ―contemporary, and ―Feminism will be words haunted by the phármakon phenomenon, a key aspect for Derridian Deconstruction, which will be the gravitational force that approximates and separates, in an undecidable relation, those signs.

Sobre O tronco, romance de Bernardo Élis

The conception of O tronco was influenced by Hegel´s ideas. The genesis of this novel is in Bernardo Élis’ purpose of writing a monograph on land ownership conflicts in Goiás, later transformed into a new project, the novel O tronco. The same ideological position of the author gives the argumentative direction of the novel; his ideological background determines the choice of the theme, associated with images expanded by the procedures of argumentation that permeate the literary discourse. Thus, in face of the undeniable aesthetic value of Élis´work, we analyzed O tronco, specifically the argumentation that guides the literary narrative, enhanced by the artistic treatment of violence, its theme, as the result of the struggle for power. The novel was published in 1956; the author, heir to the literary regionalism of the 30s, through an artistic and calculated combination of the story of a local government and literature, accuses, judges the exacerbated domination of a particular social group in a region in Goiás.

O estudante endiabrado: representação do mito de Dom Juan em espronceda

The present study is a reflection on the representation of the literary myth of Dom Juan in the work El estudiante de Salamanca (1836-1840), by Joseph de Espronceda. It highlights the most significant aspects of their recreation donjuanesca, since the classic elements taken from the founding work of Tirso de Molina to Romantic Titan which characterizes Dom Félix de Montemar.
