Resumo:
O estudo tem por objetivo realizar uma análise do processo de incubação, uma tecnologia social voltada à sustentabilidade de empreendimentos econômicos solidários. Trata-se de mostrar a ação da Incubadora Tecnológica de Cooperativas Populares e Empreendimentos Solidários (ITCPES), um programa de ensino, pesquisa e extensão junto à Cooperativa dos Fruticultores de Abaetetuba (Cofruta). Partiu-se da pesquisa exploratória-descritiva sob uma abordagem qualitativa-quantitativa para demonstrar a sustentabilidade a partir das dimensões: econômica, social, política, gestão e formação. Com base nesses indicadores chegou-se ao resultado de que a Incubadora contribui para a sustentabilidade da Cofruta, principalmente, no que diz respeito ao planejamento, ao controle e à necessidade de diversificação da produção.

The implantation of environmental management systens (SGA) in companies is the first step to the company conquers the environmental certification and consequently the benefits of a sustainable production of products, services and activities can bring. However, in the way as they are proposals in bibliographies the implantation of the SGAs, does not identify the definition of the operational stages of implementation of the same ones, generating doubts on the real environmental and administrative performance that they can come to generate for the organization. In this direction, the present research brings a proposal of operational systematics for implantation of SGA in companies, detailing each stage of implantation, considering its particularitities. For in such a way, a revision of norm NBR ISO 14001:2004 was made, looking for to identify to the interpretation imperfections gifts in the normative system. Moreover, other methods of SGA implantation had been searched gifts in the bibliography, searching proposals that detailed the operational aspects of the implantation of the system. In the same way, the accomplishment of a period of training supervised in the first semester of 2007 made possible the practical experience of the functioning of a system of environmental management, beyond the contact with professionals of the area and the acquisition of documents that had helped in the development of the research. The result was the attainment of a detailed procedure more, defining the operational systematic of SGA implantation, beyond the generation of a flowchart, describing as to develop each stage. This detailing certainly will facilitate the implantation of a SGA in companies interested in improving its environmental performance.

Given the large potential impact that the construction industry has on the environment and the need to reduce environmental degradation , environmental certifications are important tools of environmental management. This work deals with the environmental certifications of sustainable buildings LEED and AQUA . This project employed the method of exploratory research to identify the requirements that impose the greatest difficulties in the implementation of LEED and AQUA , surveying the reasons for the choice of certification to be deployed and to analyzing the main benefits perceived by certified organizations. Concepts related to the topic were obtained from the literature, leading to the development of a questionnaire that was applied in organizations that have gone through the above certifications . From the analysis of questionnaires, it was possible to highlight that the main reasons for the adoption of an environmental certificate in the construction industry are linked to economic issues such as greater market recognition and appreciation of the project and what is still needed to invest in environmental awareness industry and the whole society

Given the intense expansion of the industries in Brazil and the discovery of hydrocarbons in the pre-salt layer of the Santos and Campos Basin, there is a need to expand the distribution of oil and gas network in the country. The present work aims to present the development of susceptibility map by two distinct methods of two events (debris flows and full wave), applied to the establishment of pipelines on Ribeirão da Prata Basin. The research area covers two municipalities: São João da Boa Vista and Águas da Prata, in total 145 km2. In the paper was used the methodology proposed by Zaine (2011) for the physiographic subdivision method, which uses geological maps, geomorphological maps, digital terrain models and aerial photographs, used to extract the main elements of the physical environment, as rivers, lines, ridges, tops forms and valley forms and historical processes. Thus, the basin was divided into 11 physiographic zones, considering the following elements: thickness of soil, rock type, geomorphology, amplitude, ridges orientation, erosion occurences and mass movements. Were subsequently performed location maps of dams, that had as main purpose to localize major dams in the study area along with their area and perimeter of the reservoir, and land use map that subdivided the area in woody vegetation, permanent culture, temporary culture and urban area. Along with the preparation of the auxiliar maps was conducted a field campaign with three days and approximately 2 points per km2, which aimed to better understand the physical environment and check the main peculiarities of the study area. Criteria have been established for susceptibility maps physiographic subdivision and land use, and a survey of criteria weights used in each map for both processes under study. Deconstructions, although hardly covered in Civil Engineering courses, are a very important field of study. Due to numerous factors, such as obsolescence, buildings life cycle comes to an end leading to their deactivations. Decommissioning is a process that intends to plan the hole deactivation by providing the cleaning of contaminated areas, avoiding risks to public health, as well as promoting a screening of generated waste, whether dangerous or not, offering their correct disposal or even reuse when possible. Decommissioning must be developed by a plan that covers from the recognition of the area until its releases to other uses. When this procedure is appropriate, attention must be paid to the cost effective of its implementation and to the cleaning standard that the plan intends to reach. The execution of the service allows to reuse the area, becoming productive again

Recently, the environmental concern has grown due to the higher awareness about the availability and the importance of natural resources for survival on the Earth. So, laws and regulations were implemented aiming the environmental preservation. It has being developed new systems, technologies and techniques in order to minimize wastage of resources and minimize waste generation that may cause environmental impacts, in order to abide by the laws and regulations. These techniques and systems have been developed mostly for the industrial sector, because it’s one of the most responsible for the waste generation and impacts. One of the most employed systems is the environmental management, performed during the environmental diagnosis of the area/activity. So, this study aimed the environmental assessment and the establishment of proposals for the mitigation of the most significant environmental impacts generated in five industries of the Antonio Crepaldi industrial district – Presidente Prudente, in order to contribute to environmental issues and provide greater efficiency in the productive process of these industries... As the market expands, especially about construction, further treatments were required on the development of a building. This fact is noted due to the need to satisfy the client each time more, which requires more quality in the product final delivery. Therefore, the competition between companies grows every day to the effective and efficient production of their final products. This work shows negative factors that have influence in the product final delivery and consequently presents methods to improove the quality of this product. This study is characterized in management methods that are wrongly applied to the study of case of this work, which took place in the city of Guarulhos and was carried out during a work conducted by a large construction company

O trabalho analisa um conjunto de doze planos de vilas operárias e núcleos fabris concebidos no Brasil, seguindo – de forma mais ou menos fiel – postulados e ferramentas de projeto difundidos no âmbito do urbanismo das cidades-jardim. Mostra como o urbanismo das cidades-jardim encontrou campo de aplicação em projetos desta natureza no país na primeira metade do século xx, sobretudo nas décadas de 1930 e 1940. Indica como a difusão do método em empreendimentos ligados a fábricas vinculou-se à contribuição de profissionais de urbanismo como Ângelo Bruhns, Lincoln Continentino Ângelo Murgel, Francisco Baptista de Oliveira, Abelardo Soares Cauiby e Romeu Duffles. Assinala como estratégias e procedimentos projetuais vinculados ao modelo espacial das cidades-jardim foram, na maioria das vezes, aplicados de forma parcial e restrita, postura associada aos requisitos de economia que regem os empreendimentos industriais e à urgência como alguns destes conjuntos foram erguidos, exigindo - em alguns casos – que o plano se moldasse ao já construído. Destaca as qualidades excepcionais do projeto da vila operária da Companhia Commercio e Navegação pela aplicação do método de projetação integrando urbanismo, arquitetura e paisagem.
