El papel preponderante de las entidades de microcrédito en el desarrollo social y económico local y regional, se vincula a que a través de sus servicios, se facilita la generación y consolidación de la trama productiva y de empleo. Con su impacto en terminos de la reduccion de la pobreza y la inclusión social. En Argentina, las entidades de microcrédito muestran dificultades a la hora de acompañar las politicas de desarrollo economico social productivo. Sus permanentes procesos de descapitalizacion muestran inconvenientes y problemas y dificultades para alcanzador los resultados planteados y sobre tod no han sido eficaces en acercar los fondos a su población objetivo, emprendedores con potencial de crecimiento. Creemos que dicho problema puede reducirse estableciendo criterios que posibiliten identificar aquellas actitudes y rasgos característicos del perfil emprendedor, así como los procesos de tomas de decisiones llevado por ellos adelante. Se contribuiría de esta manera a lograr una asignación más eficiente y eficaz de los recursos disminuyendo la probabilidad de morosidad. Sin embargo para identificar y caracterizar al individuo emprendedor, es necesario esclarecer a qué hace referencia dicho término e interpretarlo dentro de marcos teóricos adaptables al contexto local. También es necesario poder explicitar el proceso de toma de decisiones que adopta, alejándonos de los supuestos racionalistas del comportamiento. Ante la hipótesis planteada nuestro objetivo general es de contribuir al desarrollo de marcos explicativos y dispositivos para el campo del emprendedurismo que permitan viabilizar a las instituciones de microcrédito como instrumentos eficaces para el desarrollo económico y social. Específicamente: Comparar los perfiles de emprendedores que hacen posible iniciar, desarrollar y sostener un emprendimiento productivo apoyado por una entidad de micro crédito. Determinar las limitaciones de las organizaciones que trabajan en micro crédito. Delimitar los alcances de las variables psicológicas respecto a los perfiles emprendedores. Proponer un modelo de transferencia de tecnología financiera que permita reducir la morosidad y optimizar los mecanismos de asignación de créditos y construir dispositivos que faciliten la identificación de perfiles emprendedores en los solicitantes de crédito. Se aplicar el test de tendencias emprendedoras EAO. Los resultados, permitiran, estandarizar para Cordoba esta escala como instrumentos de detección de competencias emprendedoras y asociadamente morosidad. Y en una segunda etapa desarrolalr dispositivos y soportes para la toma de decisión de entidades e individuos, en red, que posibiliten estrategias para el sostenimiento de la trama empresarial , reducir la mora y aumentar la rotación al capital en las entidades. La importancia del proyecto radica en que indagará sobre las dimensiones motivacionales y las capacidades psico-sociales del emprendedor, asociadas a mayor o menor morosidad en el pago del micro crédito. Estos desarrollos permitiran la adaptacion del EAO en el contexto de Cordoba y su estandarizacion para la utilizacion del mismo por las organizaciones generadoras de posliticas publicas orientadas al sostenimiento de la red emprendedora. Aspira a generar e instalar un proceso innovador en red entre varias instituciones. De las cuales las centrales serán la FIDE , la dirección de micro emprendimientos y el sistema de ciencia y técnica. Para la asistencia técnica a los emprendedores incubados, que mediante el trabajo en red con la Dirección de Microemprendimientos del Gobierno de la Provincia de Córdoba facilitara el acceso al crédito de los incubandos, complementando a éstos recursos, con el potencial acceso, a través del asesoramiento de la FIDE, a programas de vinculación tecnológica que les proporcionen líneas de financiamiento para bienes de capital y asistencias técnicas especializadas.

BACKGROUND: Different kinds of ventilators are available to perform noninvasive ventilation (NIV) in ICUs. Which type allows the best patient-ventilator synchrony is unknown. The objective was to compare patient-ventilator synchrony during NIV between ICU, transport-both with and without the NIV algorithm engaged-and dedicated NIV ventilators. METHODS: First, a bench model simulating spontaneous breathing efforts was used to assess the respective impact of inspiratory and expiratory leaks on cycling and triggering functions in 19 ventilators. Second, a clinical study evaluated the incidence of patient-ventilator asynchronies in 15 patients during three randomized, consecutive, 20-min periods of NIV using an ICU ventilator with and without its NIV algorithm engaged and a dedicated NIV ventilator. Patient-ventilator asynchrony was assessed using flow, airway pressure, and respiratory muscles surface electromyogram recordings. RESULTS: On the bench, frequent auto-triggering and delayed cycling occurred in the presence of leaks using ICU and transport ventilators. NIV algorithms unevenly minimized these asynchronies, whereas no asynchrony was observed with the dedicated NIV ventilators in all except one. These results were reproduced during the clinical study: The asynchrony index was significantly lower with a dedicated NIV ventilator than with ICU ventilators without or with their NIV algorithm engaged (0.5% [0.4%-1.2%] vs 3.7% [1.4%-10.3%] and 2.0% [1.5%-6.6%], P < .01), especially because of less auto-triggering. CONCLUSIONS: Dedicated NIV ventilators allow better patient-ventilator synchrony than ICU and transport ventilators, even with their NIV algorithm. However, the NIV algorithm improves, at least slightly and with a wide variation among ventilators, triggering and/or cycling off synchronization.

S’ha observat que pot aparèixer en presència o absència de factors precipitants i amb diferents graus de disfunció hepàtica; fet que fa pensar en la participació de factors predisposants genètics en els desenvolupament de la mateixa, sent la diana d’aquest estudi analitzar les característiques epidemiològiques, complicacions, tractament i dades analítiques que presenten els pacients en llista de transplantament hepàtic tot i estratificant-los entre aquells que han presentat encefalopatia hepàtica i aquells que no; per en un segon temps analitzar les variacions en la regió promotora del gen de la glutaminassa

Background Intra-urban inequalities in mortality have been infrequently analysed in European contexts. The aim of the present study was to analyse patterns of cancer mortality and their relationship with socioeconomic deprivation in small areas in 11 Spanish cities. Methods It is a cross-sectional ecological design using mortality data (years 1996-2003). Units of analysis were the census tracts. A deprivation index was calculated for each census tract. In order to control the variability in estimating the risk of dying we used Bayesian models. We present the RR of the census tract with the highest deprivation vs. the census tract with the lowest deprivation. Results In the case of men, socioeconomic inequalities are observed in total cancer mortality in all cities, except in Castellon, Cordoba and Vigo, while Barcelona (RR = 1.53 95%CI 1.42-1.67), Madrid (RR = 1.57 95%CI 1.49-1.65) and Seville (RR = 1.53 95%CI 1.36-1.74) present the greatest inequalities. In general Barcelona and Madrid, present inequalities for most types of cancer. Among women for total cancer mortality, inequalities have only been found in Barcelona and Zaragoza. The excess number of cancer deaths due to socioeconomic deprivation was 16,413 for men and 1,142 for women. Conclusion This study has analysed inequalities in cancer mortality in small areas of cities in Spain, not only relating this mortality with socioeconomic deprivation, but also calculating the excess mortality which may be attributed to such deprivation. This knowledge is particularly useful to determine which geographical areas in each city need intersectorial policies in order to promote a healthy environment.

We examined the information of legionellosis surveillance system in the municipality of Cordoba (Spain) as a preventive resource for environmental health management and describes the public health implications of sporadic cases investigations. A multidisciplinary team analyzed information on surveillance of water sites potentially contaminated by Legionella and clinical data of the patients classified like community case; mapping patient's home address using geographic information systems (GIS). Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 was identified in 31 sporadic cases. 53 suspected sources, mainly cooling towers have been investigated. In no event is managed to locate infection source even if poorly maintained systems, structural deficiencies and operational failures were apparent. The use of GIS allowed us to identify two geographic areas where cases are concentrated within one radius of less than 500 meters. The finding of two suspected urban advised to reorient the preventive strategy in public health

Saint Louis encephalitis virus (SLEV) is a member of the Japanese-encephalitis virus serocomplex of the genus Flavivirus. SLEV is broadly distributed in the Americas and the Caribbean Islands, where it is usually transmitted by mosquitoes of the genus Culex and primarily to birds and mammalian-hosts. Humans are occasionally infected by the virus and are dead-end hosts. SLEV causes encephalitis in temperate regions, while in tropical regions of the Americas, several human cases and a wide biological diversity of SLEV-strains have been reported. The phylogenetic analysis of the envelope (E) protein genes indicated eight-genotypes of SLEV with geographic overlap. The present paper describes the genotyping of two SLEV viruses detected in mosquito-pools collected in northern Colombia (department of Cordoba). We used reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction to amplify a fragment of theE-gene to confirm the virus identity and completeE-gene sequencing for phylogenetic analysis and genotyping of the two-SLEV viruses found circulating in Córdoba. This is the first report of SLEV genotype IV in Colombia (Córdoba) in mosquitoes from a region of human inhabitation, implicating the risk of human disease due to SLEV infection. Physicians should consider SLEV as a possible aetiology for undiagnosed febrile and neurologic syndromes among their patients who report exposure to mosquito-bites.

The aim of this work is to make known the multicentric project AMCAC, whose objective is to describe the geographical distribution of mortality from all causes in census groups of the provincial capitals of Andalusia and Catalonia during 1992-2002 and 1994-2000 respectively, and to study the relationship between the sociodemographic characteristics of the census groups and mortality. This is an ecological study in which the analytical unit is the census group. The data correspond to 298,731 individuals (152,913 men and 145,818 women) who died during the study periods in the towns of Almeria, Barcelona, Cadiz, Cordoba, Girona, Granada, Huelva, Jaen, Lleida, Malaga, Seville and Tarragona during the study periods. The dependent variable is the number of deaths observed per census group. The independent variables are the percentage of unemployment, illiteracy and manual workers. Estimation of the moderated relative risk and the study of the associations among the sociodemographic characteristics of the census groups and the mortality will be done for each town and each sex using the Besag-York-Mollie model. Dissemination of the results will help to improve and broaden knowledge about the population's health, and will provide an important starting point to establish the influence of contextual variables on the health of urban populations.

The objective of this work was to estimate the incidence and prevalence of Garlic common latent virus (GarCLV) in the main production regions of garlic (Allium sativum) in Argentina, and to perform phylogenetic and recombination analyses in isolates from these regions. Leaf samples (3,050) were taken from four garlic commercial types, in 13 departments of the four main garlic-producing provinces of Argentina, in a 1,175-ha sampling area. Virus infection was evaluated with DAS-Elisa test using specific antiserum, and the phylogenetic and recombination analyses were done with capsid protein (CP) nucleotide sequence of seven GarCLV isolates from the provinces. The incidence of GarCLV in the evaluated provinces varied between 6.7 and 22% of the samples, whereas the prevalence varied between 52.6 and 70%. In the analysis of garlic commercial types, Morado showed the highest incidence of the virus, in the province of San Juan, whereas Rosado Paraguayo had the lowest incidence, in the province of Cordoba. Nucleotide identity in the CP sequences ranged between 80.3 and 97.6%. The phylogenetic analysis shows the presence of two main groups of GarCLV and of a possible third group that would include only a German isolate. The recombination analysis between isolates from different parts of the world evidences the presence of recombinant isolates from Poland and Australia.

Este trabajo ha tenido como objetivo la realización de una aplicación para móviles desarrollada en HTML5 llamada ¿Audioguía Turística de El Real Monasterio de San Lorenzo de El Escorial¿.Se han utilizado tecnologías como HTML5, javascript, jQuery Mobile (framework de javascritp), CSS, ThemRoller, y Phonegap (ahora apache Cordoba). También se ha usado Eclipse como IDE para el desarrollo con el pluging de Aptana.Se ha logrado una aplicación instalable en cualquier dispositivo móvil (Smartphone) o Tablet de cualquier tamaño, obteniéndose una app multidispositivo de tipo híbrida que puede usar y disponer de los recursos que posee el teléfono móvil como hacer llamadas, geolocalización, etc. Aparte de todo ello, para alcanzar una app multiplataforma se ha usado Phonegap Build, proporcionándonos con la compilación en la nube varios archivos instalables en distintas plataformas como Android, Windows-Phone, etc. Por tanto, se ha obtenido el desarrollo de una aplicación con HTML5 multidispositivo y multiplataforma.
