Journal of the State Convention on Repeal of the Eighteenth Amendment, July 10, 1933

Proposing an amendment to the constitution of the United States. Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled (two-thirds of each House concurring therein), That the following article is hereby proposed as an amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which shall be valid to all intents and purposes as part of the Constitution when ratified by conventions in three-fourths of the several states. "Article-"Section 1. The eighteenth article of amendment to the Constitutionof the United States is hereby repealed. "Sec. 2. The transportation or importation into any State, Territory, or possession of the United States for delivery or use therein of intoxicating liquors, in violation of the laws thereof, is hereby prohibited. "Sec. 3. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by conventions in the several States, as provided in the Constitution, within seven yearsfrom the date of the submission hereof to the States by the Congress.” Jno. Morphometric relationhip in the Chaetognath Sagitta setosa Muller 1847: within population versus between population variability.

Sagitta setosa is a neritic Chaetognath exhibiting a discontinuous geographic distribution. To assess the influence of its discontinuous geographic distribution on morphometric variability between isolated populations, we conducted a biometric study of S. setosa from three different locations: Goteborg and Plymouth (North Atlantic) and Barcelona ( Western Mediterranean). Out results do indicate some disparity between the populations that is reflected not in size differences, largely determined by water temperature, but in shape (body proportions).

L'aliança Polygonion avicularis Br.-Bl. ex Dich. 1933 als Pirineus Catalans

L'anàlisi de nombrosos inventaris procedents dels Pirineus centrals i orientals ens ha dut a realitzar una revisió de I'aliança Polygonion avicularis Br.-Bl. ex Dich 1933 en aquesta àrea. Reconeixem fins al moment sis associacions per a les quals donem la seva caracterització florística i ecologica, així com la seva distribució als Pirineus catalans. Descrivim, a més, una subass. scleranthetosum uncinatae del Rumici-Spergularietum rubrae, comunitat altimontana i subalpina pròpia dels sòls calcigats.
