Natagaima Lane, 1972 is revised and provisionally transferred from Anisocerini to Acanthoderini. The genus and the type species, Natagaima balteata Lane, 1972, are redescribed and two new species added: N. moacyri, from Colombia (Tumaco) and N. heloisae, from Ecuador (Napo). All the species are illustrated and keyed.

The genus Satipoella Lane, 1964 is revised and a new synonym is proposed, Icarai Galileo & Martins, 1998, with Satipoella. A new species, S. ochroma, is described from Amazonas, Brazil. New combination: Satipoella bufo (Thomson, 1864) from Icarai. The three species of Satipoella are illustrated and keyed.

New species described from Brazil: Curuapira tuberosa (Espírito Santo); Stereomerus maculatus (Bahia); Gyrpanetes oryba (Espírito Santo); Desmiphora (D.) santossilvai (Pará); Desmiphora (D.) uniformis (Bahia). Icublabia gen. nov., type-species, I. multispinosa sp. nov. from Ecuador (Napo) are described. Curuapira exotica Martins & Galileo, 1998, originally described from Venezuela, is recorded from Brazil (Amazonas, Rondônia and Mato Grosso).

Two new species, Opopaea viamao and O. ita, are described from the states of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, Brazil, respectively. Both species present reduction or loss of posterior median eyes, a possible synapomorphic caracter.

The female of Argyrothemis argentea Ris, 1911 is described and illustrated for the first time. New records expand the distribution range of the species to Central West Region of Brazil.

New species described: Lophoblatta bromelicola and L. tingua both from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The male genitalia of five other species are illustrated and described. New records are given: L. petropolitana Rocha e Silva & Vasconcelos, 1987 to Espírito Santo and L. speerae Rocha e Silva-Albuquerque & Gurney, 1963 to Pernambuco, Goiás and Espírito Santo, Brazil. The genus is divided in four groups according as the male genitalia characters.

Terebellides sepultura sp. nov. is described from the continental shelf bottoms off southern Brazil. Terebellides carmenensis Solis-Weiss, Fauchald & Blankensteyn, 1991 is newly recorded for the Brazilian coast and notes on T. anguicomus F. Müller, 1858 and T. klemani Kinberg, 1867 are provided. A key to 28 species of Terebellides is given.

The genus Envia, comprising only the new species Envia garciai, is proposed. These small mygalomorph spiders were abundantly collected in soil cores and litter samples in primary rain forests near Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil.

Brachystethus Laporte, 1832 is revised. Brachystethus coxalis Breddin, 1904, B. cribrus (Fabricius, 1781), B. geniculatus (Fabricius, 1787), B. improvisus Breddin, 1905, B. rubromaculatus Dallas, 1851, B. signoreti Stål, 1872, B. tricolor Bolívar, 1879, B. vexillum Breddin, 1903 and B. vicinus Signoret, 1851 are redescribed based on morphological characters, with emphasis on genitalia of both sexes. A new species, B. schuhi, from Guyana, is described, and B. discolor (Walker, 1867), incertae sedis, is removed from the genus. Illustrations and a key for species of Brachystethus are provided.

Three new species of Cephalobium Cobb, 1920, C. laplata from City Bell, C. polidentatum from Lincoln and C. dispar from Gorina, parasites of Gryllodes laplatae Saussure, 1877 from Buenos Aires, Argentina, are described and illustrated. Cephalobium laplata can be differentiated by having the cheilostom with a dorsal unmovable tooth, telostom with three ventral little teeth and two ventral movable claw teeth and gubernaculum triangular and five pairs of genital papillae. Cephalobium polidentatum has cheilostom with a movable ventral tooth, prostom with four dorsal movable teeth and telostom with three teeth; gubernaculum triangular with projections and with one pair of preanal and six pairs of postanal papillae. Cephalobium dispar is characterized by having telostom with two wings around the spicules and one pair of preanal and six pairs postanal papillae.

Potamolithus catharinae Pilsbry, 1911 is characterized on specimens from Hercílio river, State of Santa Catarina, Brazil, type-locality. Conchology, conchometry, soft-part morphology including head and food complex, pallial structures, radula and some aspects of the female and male reproductive systems are provided.

Two new species of the genus Philoponella Mello-Leitão, 1917 are described: P. ramirezi, from the Atlantic forest of the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and P. pomelita, from the subtropical forests of the Province of Misiones, Argentina. Relationships of these new species are discussed.

The new genus Neoachryson and its type-species, N. castaneum sp. nov., are described from Argentina (Mendoza).
