After the discovery of ionizing radiation, its applications in various fields of science began to take significant proportions. In the case of medicine, there are the application areas in radiotherapy, diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine. It was then necessary to create the field of radiological protection to establish the conditions necessary for the safe use of such ionizing radiation. Apply knowledge obtained during the graduation stage and in the practice of radiological protection in the areas of nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology. In the area of nuclear medicine, tests were made in the Geiger-Muller counters (GM) and the dose calibrator (curiometer), the monitoring tests of radiation, waste management, clean of the Therapeutic room and testing the quality control of gamma-chambers. In the area of radiology, were performed tests of quality control equipment for conventional X-ray equipment and x-ray fluoroscopy, all following the rules of the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA), and reporting of tests. The routine developed in the fields of nuclear medicine in hospitals has proved very useful, since the quality control of GM counters contribute to the values of possible contamination are more reliable. The control of dose calibrator enables the patient not to receive different doses of the recommended amounts, which prevents the repetition of tests and unnecessary exposure to radiation. The management of waste following the rules and laws established and required for its management. Tests for quality control of gamma chambers help to evaluate its medical performance through image. In part of diagnostic radiology, tests for quality control are performed in order to verify that the equipment is acceptable for usage or if repairs are needed. The present work aims to draw some reflections on the role of art in integral education, particularly of art as a school subject. The paper focuses on the contribution of art to the development the individual and the higher psychological functions. The arguments presented here are based on the studies on art made by Lev Vygotsky and Georg Lukács and also on the educational studies made by Dermeval Saviani. We expect to contribute to the defense of the necessity of an integral education in which art, integrated with science and philosophy, opposes itself to the predominantly fetishistic and unilateral character of the activities that constitutes the life in the contemporary capitalist society.

In recent years, the concept of art education has been changing substantially the artistic and cultural education in the Brazilian educational system, particularly in relation to the formation of a critical awareness and practice of citizenship. In this process, the Community Public Relations and Public Communication excel in fostering alliances between government and community. Based on literature review and authors debates, such as Geertz, Santos, White, Freire, Araujo, Barbosa, Kunsch e Peruzzo. Besides the analysis of important materials, official documents and Brazilian projects involving art, culture and education, such as Research-Action Report 2013, the National Plan for Culture, the National Education Plan and the Municipal Act 6119; this paper seeks to explicit this affirmation, assuming the social transformation aiming a full citizenship, as a motivational factor. In this paper we also present a plan that includes a project in art education for the Stable Dance Company and the public elementary schools in Bauru SP

This paper presents a diagram that was produced in the dissertation “Vibrations: Art/Education in Practice and Discourse within Mental Health” which was developed within the Arts Graduate Program at Unesp. From the archaeological perspective proposed by Foucault, it was sought to excavate strata or layers of knowledge built around the concepts of madness, subjectivity and art, in order to emphasize the historical transformations that these conceptions have undergone over time, through words and images.

This research intend to investigate the main concepts on the pedagogical activities from the 8th Bienal de Artes Visuais do Mercosul, through its history and in a field research made in 2011, by the occasion and in the same year of that edition. It tries to recognize the innovative points of its pedagogical curatorial project and its meaning for the educational art in museums - the expanded field of the art. The expository and educational experience in the Bienal do Mercosul, through its concepts, proposes a reflection about educational art in museums or big events

Objective: Identifying the main causes for underreporting of Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) by health professionals. Method: A systematic review carried out in the following databases: LILACS, PAHO, SciELO, EMBASE and PubMed in the period between 1992 and 2012. Descriptors were used in the search for articles, and the identified causes of underreporting were analyzed according to the classification of Inman. Results: In total, were identified 149 articles, among which 29 were selected. Most studies were carried out in hospitals (24/29) for physicians (22/29), and pharmacists (10/29). The main causes related to underreporting were ignorance (24/29), insecurity (24/29) and indifference (23/29). Conclusion: The data show the eighth sin in underreporting, which is the lack of training in pharmacovigilance. Therefore, continuing education can increase adherence of professionals to the service and improve knowledge and communication of risks due to drug use.

The ARTGEO Project aimed at integrating science, art, and technology, emphasizing geometric elements which must be explored within the teaching process. Geometry, present in the most primitive civilizations, assists man in settling relationships and organizing his space. It has been clearly identified in human constructions, consisting of an important instrument of knowledge and domain of nature. The art, in its turn, can mediate the elaboration of knowledge, whether it is scientific, technical, or philosophical. Science and art are products that express the imaginary representations from distinct cultures. The Brazilian Concretism, for its relations with the geometry, is the period in art history chosen as reference. Technology was represented by the computational environments, as a didactic support and an instrument for the accomplishment of practical activities. Microsoft Word is one of the basic softwares for this proposal because of its easy access in most public schools.

The question related to recyclable material has been pointed by environmental researchers as one of the most serious urban problems today. Therefore, the importance of disclosure and clarification related to recycling techniques is highlighted, as well as a critical and extensive reflection related to the cultural values of society about current economic rationality that prioritizes a unlimited consumerism. We conducted a survey in the city of Bauru and asked how often people separated recyclable materials for selective collection. We found that 18% of these people have never performed this type of activity. Thus we emphasize the importance of art in creating alternative ways of dealing with the recyclable material, that involves social, economic and cultural needs of a population; contributing to preserve the environment such as the creation of a new rationality.
