Processo de uso e ocupação do Pontal do Paranapanema-SP: perspectiva das unidades de conservação (UCs)

The current concern with environmental issues by the scientific community, governmental and civil society also brings out the need to recover, preserve and conserve the environment. With this understanding, this work was prepared, which had as one of the main objectives of the historical process of land use and occupancy of the Pontal, since the nineteenth century to the present day. From this, the changes were evident in the types of land use, which rose from native forest to plant crops (permanent and temporary crops) and later as pasture. Through this process of occupation, exploitation of forests and replacement even three, Reserves being brought from the Far West Paulista, through the state government of Sao Paulo, they were almost decimated. Such areas decreed by law to be preserved and conserved, with the rampant occupations, were suffocated by the fakes and illegal occupation of land tenure contracts, leaving the region currently only a few forest fragments and protected areas of State Park Morro do Diabo, PRNP Boa Vista and Ecological Station Black Lion Tamarin. Furthermore, the article emphasizes the main legislation being developed by federal and state levels aimed at protecting natural resources and the effectiveness they had with the passage of time, demonstrating that the conservation of the environment, has several contributions in the law, however, and they are so vast that hinder its application.

Modelagem de motor de combustão internae simulação do processo de queima de combustível

The internal combustion engine is a heat engine widely used in the automotive industry. In order to better understand its behavior many models in the literature have been proposed in the last years. The 0-D thermodynamic model is a fairly simple tool but it is very useful to understand the phenomenon of combustion inside the chamber of internal combustion engines. In the first phase of this work, an extensive literature review was made in order to get information about this kind of analysis and, after this, apply them in a model able to calculate the instantaneous temperature and pressure in one zone of the combustion chamber of a diesel engine. Therefore some considerations were made with the aim of increasing the accuracy of the model in predicting the correct behavior of the engine, adding the combined effects of heat transfer, leakage and injection. In the second phase, the goal was to study the internal flow of a three-dimensional model of an internal combustion engine. In order to achieve this goal the software Solidworks was used to create the geometries of an engine and the suite of softwares Ansys was used to create the moving mesh (ICEM CFD and CFX-Pre) and to solve the CFD problem (Ansys CFX code). The model was able to perform the air flow simulation during the four-stroke cycle of an engine: admission, compression, expansion and exhaust. The results obtained from both models were suitable and they open a new range of possibilities for future researches on the field

Levantamento da mastofauna e identificação das influências antrópicas em dois fragmentos de Mata Atlântica transição com Cerrado de Rubião Junior – Botucatu - SP

Atlantic Forest and Cerrado are between the biological richest areas in the world, for that are considered top conservation priorities. Those ecosystems are found at Botucatu region, where it´s extremely fragmented by routes, agricultural areas and urban centres. This fragmentation causes restrictions on animals populations, in particular to medium and large mammals, that needs larger areas to live and also are often hunted. Even isolated and suffering anthropic influences the fragments are fundamental for local biodiversity conservation. We realized a mammal survey on two forest fragments of Atlantic forest transition to Cerrado of Rubião Júnior – Botucatu – SP – Brazil: Santo Antônio Church and Parque das Cascatas forests. The Santo Antônio church munt is considered a turistic point and its forest receive many visitants, Parque das Cascatas forest is inside of a residential condominium. Both areas are classify as semidecidual stational forest and are disconected by Domingos Sartori route, that connect Botucatu centre to Rubião Júnior district. Around both fragments can be found residences, plantations and pastures. The utilized method included: recognition of tracks on the forests, interviews with next residents and sand plots mounting. The interviews indicated 29 mammals species, and 19 was validated for animal traces, overruns or visualization. Other 3 species found were not mentioned on interviews. Totally, was found 22 small and medium mammals presence evidences on both forest fragments. Parque das Cascatas forest showed more diversity (19) then Santo Antônio Church forest (11), and species like Eira barbara, Procyon cancrivorus, Mazama americana, Shiggurus villosus, Dasypus novemcinctus, Didelphis albiventris, Lutreolina crassicaudata and Lepus europaeus looked for other areas once that was verifyed overruns of individuals... Variabilidade e diversidade genética de populações de Ocotea notata (Nees & Mart.) Mez (Lauraceae)

O presente trabalho analisou os parâmetros genéticos populacionais de variabilidade e diversidade genética de diferentes populações de Ocotea notata (Nees & Mart.) Mez, através de marcadores de DNA do tipo ISSR (Inter Single Sequence Repeats). Para tanto, foram amostrados 243 indivíduos de 12 populações selecionadas na Bahia e Espírito Santo, que ocorrem em campos rupestres e vegetações de restinga, a saber, morfotipos de Ocotea glaucina (Meisn.) Mez: Morro do Chapéu: populações do Tabuleiro dos Guaribas, Ferro Doido, Cria Bode e Lajes; Umburanas; Jacobina; Lençóis: população da Serra das Paridas, e os morfotipos de O. notata, Esplanada: população de Baixios; Salvador: população das Dunas do Abaeté, Alcobaça, Mucuri, e Vila Velha, ES: população de Jacarenema. O DNA total já se encontrava extraído e quantificado em gel de agarose. Foram testados 20 primers de ISSR (University of British Columbia), dos quais quatro apresentaram resultados adequados para as análises, a saber: Manny, Mao, John e UBC 844. A otimização dos protocolos de reações de PCR foi feita no Laboratório de Evolução Molecular, da UNESP de Rio Claro, com a execução das reações de PCR para cada um dos primers, para cada população, e subsequentemente foram feitas as análises dos resultados sob o arcabouço teóricometodológico da genética de populações. A Análise de Variância Molecular (AMOVA) indicou que 23% da variabilidade ocorre entre populações dentro de regiões e 76% entre indivíduos dentro de populações, com variação significativa de 1% ocorrendo entre regiões (populações de Restinga vs. Campos Rupestres)

Geologia do alvo e da mina Sol Nascente, município de Rio Crespo, Rondônia

Eight Mesoproterozoic granite suites are recognized in the Rondônia Tin Province, called Serra da Providência Intrusive Suite (1606-1532 Ma), Rio Crespo Intrusive Suite (1500 Ma), St. Anthony Intrusive Suite (1406 Ma), Teotonio Intrusive Suite (1387 Ma ), Santa Clara Intrusive Suite (1082-1074 Ma) and Younger Granites of Rondônia Intrusive Suite (998-974 Ma), represent successive magmatic type A (anorogenic) and the intra-plate basement rocks intruded in the metamorphic complex named Jamari separated into two distinct lithologic associations, a ortogneiss (U-Pb from 1.76 to 1.73 Ga) and a paragneiss (1675 + / - 12 Ma). Tin mineralization are widely found in the Tin Province and are associated with granitic intrusions known Mesoproterozoic more closely with the last two magmatic events, represented by the Santa Clara and Younger Granites of Rondônia. The tin mineralization are of primary and secondary, with the primary form deposits of different structural styles and is presented in the form of endo-or exogreisens, veins, stockworks and pegmatites. The secondary mineralization are related to natural processes of weathering and erosion of primary rocks, leading to placer deposits classified as colluvial, eluvial and colluvial-alluvial. The Target Alvo Sol Nascente is located in the central-eastern Rondônia Tin Province and has basement rocks of the metamorphic-magmatic region represented by Jamari Complex intrusive suites and Sierra Providence and Rio Crespo. The last tectonic event spa in the area was responsible for the intrusion of Younger Granites of Rondônia (São Carlos and Caripuanã Massifis). The anomalous levels of tin, sufficient to operate (Mina Rising Sun), indicate that there was possibly mineralization event, evidenced by pegmatite veins well defined, easily found relatively close to mine. Plaque deposits associated with Quaternary sedimentary sequences can also be observed

Algoritmos para reconhecimento de 3-variedades utilizam-se do conceito de superfície normal, sendo assim, pode-se então tratar problemas de teoria de 3-variedades como sendo de programação linear. Como exemplos tem-se o Algoritmo de reconhecimento da 3-esfera triangulável de Rubinstein-Thompson que é implementado na suíte de software Regina, como a decomposição soma conexa de 3-variedades. A completa classificação de 3-variedades pode ser realizada por meio de algoritmos, possuindo assim relevância para o Programa de Geometrização de Thurston para obtenção de resultados inicialmente utilizando topologia computacional. O objetivo do presente trabalho é discorrer sobre uma aplicação do software Regina. Obteve-se durante a elaboração do presente trabalho, o resultado entre a comparação da 3-esfera homológica de Poincaré com a 3-esfera, parte importante para o entendimento da Conjectura de Poincaré e do Programa de Geometrização.
