Estudo sobre iluminação e banco de capacitores de uma típica indústria metalúrgica

The use of electricity for obtaining light has been quite an issue currently discussed, either through new technologies that are emerging, the quest for greater efficiency, reduced waste and rational use. This work comprises a lighting design applied to a metallurgical based Brazilian Standard 5413 which mentions levels of luminance for interior and, in the case of this work, for a sandblasting booth. Ways to improve the workplace and luminosity presented before the project and also after its implementation are discussed. Technologies are chosen guided by technical calculations according to the illuminance values they want to reach for the environment studied. All pertinent design features are critically analyzed and discussed, and at the end proposals are presented, relating to each other in a comparative framework, so the best solution is applied in a practical way in the enclosure. Results are also presented concerning the maintenance of a bank of capacitors to correct the power factor for the metals studied company

Geometrical hypercomplex coupling between electric and gravitational fields

The present work shows a coupling of electrical and gravitational fields through Cauchy-Riemann conditions for quaternions present in a previous paper [1]. It is also obtained an extended version of the Laplace-like equations for quaternions, now written in terms of both electric and gravitational fields.

O texto apresenta os traços da cultura caipira, enfatizando a importância das consequências do comércio bovino para a sua circularidade pelos espaços urbanos do Centro Sul brasileiro. Além disso, propõe reflexões sobre as maneiras pelas quais as elites trataram as expressões desta cultura em dois momentos distintos: fins do século XIX e a onda nacionalista vigente após o governo de Getúlio Vargas, em 1930. Transvestites and transsexualsface everyday intense process of exclusion. The un(un)involvement to those people ethically and politically is a fact and comes from the State and Civil Society. The aims of this article are to analyzehow transgenderexperience their construction of identity in aheteronormative social context; the public health assistance, work and incomepursuit. The methodology used was qualitative action research. The conclusion is that suffering is the result of a process of right’s fight and pursuit for health, assistance and work. The situations of being treated as inferior persons, with no social value are experienced repeatedly.

A ruralidade em pequenos municípios do interior paulista: Cristais Paulista SP como estudo de caso

This study has as central theme the small district and the relationships established in the rural environment. The objective of the study is to analyze the reality from Cristais Paulista, located in the northeast of the State of São Paulo. Understanding as its relationship works, it was made a small rescue of classic studies on the relationship countryside-city, including the recent brazilian debate about the theme. In the present study we can observe the rural habits and also different urban customs in the small municipal district studied and also some particularities resulted of the social relationships among the residents of the countryside and of the city, always marked by the personality character. In the study of the small municipal district it was adopted as methodology the analysis Maria de Nazareth Baudel Wanderley (2001a), when she proposes five dimensions to analyze the municipal districts from Pernambuco. The application of the methodology in Cristais Paulista, allowed to understand the space building, the functions, the dynamics and the socio economical meanings of those small areas.
