An unusual event showing seven cosmic ray muons going through the detector simultaneously. The yellow lines are the reconstructed paths of the muons.

Upward muon through IMB detector

A high energy muon, created by a neutrino interaction in the earth below the detector, enters the bottom and exits the top.
