This study has as main objective to identify the complains occurrences about pain in the spine segments, that are related to work standing posture, adopted by the collaborators in the production section of a food industry, in the city of Marília São Paulo state. A descriptive research and studying case was made, using 30 employees as a sample. It was used as methodological procedure, a questionnaire to obtain information on professional and personal data, posture to remain standing, the most uncomfortable postures in the work environment (signed by the form of Ranney, 2000) and pain (pointed out by Corllet and Manenica Diagram, 1980). It was also used the Nordic questionnaire (Kuorioka et al.,1986), validated in the Brazilian culture by Barros e Alexandre (2003) and adapted for the study, the direct evaluation and, a direct observation was made in the production work, a posture analysis using the OWAS Method. It was noticed that the posture of standing up is adopted during work, and 73.3% of the people that was interviewed said that they felt tired in consequence of this posture, especially when associated with trunk twists, trunk inclination and elevation of their arms above their heads. Most complains regarding pain through their bodies, by Corllet e Manenica (1980) pointed to the lumbar region, followed in the dorsal area and legs and in the neck area, shoulders and right thigh. The adapted Nordic questionnaire reveled the lumbar area, in 10 interviewed people (33.3%) as the area mostaffected by musculoskeletal symptoms, next in the dorsal area, with five people interviewed (16.7%) and one of them (3.3%) felt pain in the cervical area, none reported pain in the hips area. The postural analysis was applied using OWAS method, and it was identified the postures that demanded more effort in the four levels of musculoskeletal injuries. As conclusion, the standing up posture and the asymmetric and incorrect movements are related to pain in the spine, mostly in the lumbar area.

There are at least three different visions about origins of design; the most diffused is the idea that design begins with the Industrial Revolution. Some see the design as heir of a special kind of crafts at Revolution’s eve, because it already have a former project and work division. Less diffused is the idea that there aren’t much significant differences between design and crafts, giving to design some millenniums of history. But, being the designer heir of this millenary tradition isn’t time to reconciliate it again with crafts? Shouldn’t we return to defend the rescue of concepts of project before the modernism?

We analyzed the Cultural Industry and impositions for manners of production of capitalism in subjectivity, exposing the subject to alienated fragility. Because, the consumption doesn't just refer to the contemplation of images for subjects, but also about identification that subjects can have about images. The contemporary society is composed in individualist adoration by self, demanding pledge and self-control to reach the wanted body and idealized spread by media, disseminating idea of corporal pattern. So, we understood that the school physical education, being the field of knowledge of cultural corporal, has as function, also, to act as intercessor in relationship with media, above all when worked with pertinent subjects to corporeality contributing so that student, through exercise of critic, transform the society. Therefore, the educators need to extrapolate hesitation front media and make critical use of formative and informative possibilities, on consumption and impact on the body.

In the last decade, Brazilian meat export rates for Muslim religious countries have increased, and also has the immigration of Africans workers able to perform the slaughter following the precepts of Islam - religion that has expanded in the world, and thus, has the halal food segment. Halal, the Islamic ideology, means lawful, authorized by God: are those products that Allah in the Holy Qur'an releases for human consumption. To get halal certification some measures during slaughter/processing food should be taken. In the case of the slaughterhouses the animal must be slaughtered by a Muslim. Consequently, the demand for this skilled labor makes many African-Muslims get jobs in factories owned by BRF Foods, JBS and Marfrig; refugees and with their citizenship rights committed, these individuals live in a socio-political state of exception and overexploitation. In this study we intend to discuss the object of study Islamist workforce in Brazilian halal meat industry using the theoretical reflections of Giorgio Agamben (Homo Sacer in 2002, and State of Exception, 2004) and David Harvey (The Condition of Postmodernity, 2008, and The New Imperialism, 2004) to address the situation of immigrants in the meat business in Brazil, specially those on the halal certification segment, whose working and living conditions were described from academic studies and primary sources (articles in newspapers / magazines, websites, immigration official data). In addition we use the works of Rogério Heasbaert (O mito da desterritorialização, 2007) and Robert Kurz (Os paradoxos dos direitos humanos: inclusão e exclusão na modernidade, 2003) to discuss human mobility in this new century

This work presents and it evaluates the systems of crop of sugar-cane trash for energy ends, through studies accomplished in three industries of sugar and alcohol, of the State of São Paulo, as withdrawal in the field and crop partially integral with separation of the trash in the industry (cleaning the dry). it is Treated of a development of opportunities, because only when there is pulp shortage it is that remembers the energy use of the trash, which presents a larger cost for equivalent ton in energy again that the pulp of the sugar-cane, that already has a very spread trade in the section the sugar and alcohol. Another factor that should be outstanding is the environmental, because the Environmental Protocol exists, sanctioned by most of the producing of sugar-cane, that reduces the period for elimination burned of the sugar-cane before the crop implanted by the Law 11.241 of 2002. However it is important to highlight that the crop of the sugar-cane without it burns her previous, it increases the difficulty in the combat the pest denominated “cigarrinha-da-raiz”, turning necessary the retreat of part of the trash non beneficial for the soil, contributing like this, with the practice of removal of the trash for energy use. Of the obtained results it is ended that the most interesting modality economically, was the separation of the trash in the industry and that for better efficiency, the sugar-cane should go by a double process of blowing for cleaning, pointing out, however, that there was reduction of the capacity of transport of the sugar-cane as adult was the amount of trash partially in the crop integral.

The current competitive market requires companies to adapt so that they can meet the needs of customers in an agile manner and aimed at the lowest possible cost in their manufacture, be it a product or service. The Toyota Production System is aimed at higher profits through lean manufacturing practices with reduced spending, smaller lots and inventories, generated by market demand. The variety of products makes the setup of the equipment a critical point and it should be reduced as much as possible so it does not affect productivity. The rapid exchange of tools allows with few actions and a modification that time does not exceed one digit on your total time. In this study, a case study showed that only with standardization and use of cheap improvements made it possible to reduce setup time in bottle labeling machine by 98 minutes for a final time of approximately 10 minutes with little investment, demonstrating the feasibility the displayed and a monthly gain tool in bottles at approximately 120,000, generating a performance gain and budget of approximately R$ 94,000.00 per month
