The main goal of this work is the analysis of theoretical and methodological aspects of speech melody variation (intonation), with special reference to the pronunciation of one speaker. In order to carry on this study, different types of sentences (declarative, questions, etc.) and the intonational focus as well as the speaker‟s attitude (irony, emphasis, etc.) were observed and analyzed with special acoustic software (PRAAT) and with an auditory analysis of a text read by the subject. The aim of this work is to verify whether the acoustic analysis matches with the auditory perception phonetically, according to M.A.K. Halliday‟s methodology, following Cagliari (2007), who adapted Halliday‟s model to describe the intonation of Portuguese

Análise de mercado e projeto de hospedagem Hotel Fazenda

A expansão do mercado turístico nacional representa um importante papel no desenvolvimento socioeconômico do país. Mais especificamente, a hotelaria representa um vetor fundamental de expansão e consolidação deste setor, correspondido à demanda dos novos segmentos de mercado paralelamente à sua atuação na criação de novas modalidades de turismo, diversificando o portfólio de serviços. O objetivo do presente estudo foi o desenvolvimento de um projeto hoteleiro voltado ao lazer e eventos na zona rural do município de Bauru. Pretende-se que este projeto seja uma referência para o setor de hotelaria rural, por buscar associar elementos arquitetônicos, funcionais e conforto tanto aos funcionários quanto aos hóspedes. Para tanto, foram realizadas pesquisas de campo e bibliográfica pertinente ao assunto que culminaram no desenvolvimento do projeto do hotel fazenda “Verdes Ares”

Levantamento florístico em área de remanescente de Cerrado no Município de Pratânia, SP

Nos últimos anos, o Cerrado tem sofrido enorme destruição, principalmente devido à expansão das áreas destinadas à agricultura. Muitos remanescentes deste tipo de vegetação ainda são pouco estudados. Portanto, o objetivo deste estudo foi desenvolver um levantamento florístico em um remanescente de cerrado no município de Pratânia, região centro-oeste do estado de São Paulo. No total, 120 espécies (38 famílias, 88 gêneros) foram inventariadas. As famílias com maior riqueza foram: Fabaceae (23 espécies), Asteraceae (15), Myrtaceae (10), Malpighiaceae e Rubiaceae (7 cada) e Bignoniaceae (5). O componente arbustivo foi predominante na área de estudo, representando 37,5% das espécies registradas. Uma comparação entre oito áreas de cerrado mostrou maior similaridade entre áreas com altitude e posição geográfica semelhantes

Trailer: análise da linguagem utilizada por esta peça publicitária cinematográfica

This final project intends to discourse about the cinematographic publicity piece that is the trailer and its main features. Its relation with the publicity is studied so we can understand how this relation occurs, once the trailer is found in between the cinema and the publicity. The trailer features are exposed, such as the persuasive features, so it becomes evident the importance of studying this advertising tool from a broad perspective. In addition, we seek to determine its aesthetics, its compositional characteristics and their relevance in movie marketing. The paper discusses briefly about the universe of the movie marketing, as a way of situating the trailer as a tool in a set of publicity techniques that help in selling movies. A case study is conducted, involving the analysis of 5 trailers from different categories of gender, in order to capture the essence of the overall trailer, such from the persuasive perspective as the audiovisual perspective. Finally the is the addition of a current universe of characteristics that can be found in the contemporary trailers, grounded by theorists and film scholars that accompanied the evolution of this advertising tool

Diagnóstico e proposição de subsídios para a elaboração de plano de gestão ambiental: estudo de caso de um abatedouro avícola

In view of the current environmental concerns and legal requirements, this work aims to achieve a diagnosis and offer subsidies for development of an environmental management plan in an industry. The industry considered to be a subject of study of this research is the aviculture, considered its great importance in Brazil and to present a significant environmental impact. The unit of analysis is a chicken slaughterhouse, located in Rio Claro, SP. The developed methodology for identification and analysis of environmental significative aspects were based in the concepts of environmental impact and in the ABNT NBR ISO 14.001:2004. From the analysis of selected aspects, this research proposed several environmental indicators for the company and identified points of environmental improvement. The results of this study provide methods for identifying its environmental aspects and development of its environmental management plan to chicken slaughterhouse and also to other companies.

This work intends to perform the dimensioning of the Guaratinguetá’s Engineering College Baja SAE vehicle suspension system. To do so, concepts of suspension systems, human comfort limits to vibrations and automotive models for suspension vibration analyses are reviewed. On the development of this work descriptions of considerations specific for the vehicle object of this work are made as well as descriptions of the experiment made to determine the stiffness of the tire used. These concepts are applied through a computational routine that allows the dimensioning of springs and shock absorbers of both front and rear axles of a vehicle in a way to respect all the criteria showed during this work and visualize the system’s behavior when excited on different frequencies

Eficiência energética em uma indústria madeireira

In wood processing industries, which use electrical equipment in the production process, in most cases these are badly scaled or operate under inadequate conditions, resulting directly in industrial energy efficiency, which proves important because besides having technological innovation, also with practices and policies, aims to decrease power consumption. So in a wiring project should take into account the variables that influence energy efficiency. Thus this work has been reviewed and subsequently calculated some of these variables, such as active power, power factor and demand for the entire industry (global) and also for specific equipment, the chipper. The network analysis was performed in a wood processing industry in the city of Taquarivaí - SP, and evaluated these variables with a network analyzer and also by analysis on energy bills, which were found in both analysis levels below those found in literature. These factors are due to poor design, improper use, storage of equipment or even by characteristic of the production process, ie, the equipment running on empty because of the volatility of production

O jogo de xadrez e a aprendizagem matemática: uma análise de possibilidades

The idea of this research is to analyze the possibilities of using chess as a nice alternative for motivating and teaching mathematics. The study was carried out in three steps, consisting of a literature review about the importance of games for education, followed by the importance that the game of chess has on the student's cognitive development and, finally, a qualitative analysis of data obtained by recording it. The data were taken from some activities performed in the 6th grade class of elementary education at a public school in the city of Roseira, state of São Paulo, in a team at the age 9 and 12 year-old students. The result of this research proved to be significant the use of chess game to teach math, we were able to verify that there was an easy assimilation of the subject, because when a student plays, he/she willdevelop skills in the game which becomes an incentive to study even more

A construção dos saberes docentes na formação inicial de professores de educação física

Alguns estudiosos e pesquisadores nos últimos anos têm voltado atenção para a formação de professores, no que se refere sobretudo as questões dos saberes docentes, tentando, assim, compreender que saberes estão presentes na prática pedagógica. No âmbito desse processo e com o ingresso no PIBID (Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência), tive um contato mais próximo com a escola, especificamente com os professores em exercício. Assim algumas indagações surgiram sobre o fato dos estudantes apresentarem um tipo de saber (discursivo) e os professores outros (pragmático). Embora ambos possam compartilhar algumas experiências comuns vinculadas ao processo de escolarização, cada um fala de um lugar diferente. Isto aponta para outro questionamento: qual é o lugar que o estudante, os professores da escola e da universidade ocupam no campo da formação. A partir deste contexto, o presente trabalho abrange a formação dos professores, a prática docente e os saberes docentes. Dessa forma objetiva-se compreender como os estudantes da disciplina de estágio supervisionado na escola e os professores da escola constroem/constituem/apontam os saberes que são mobilizados na prática de ensino. Especificadamente se busca (a) identificar os saberes que são mobilizados por estudantes de Educação Física na construção dos Projetos de Ensino e da Prática de Ensino no estágio;(b) analisar a origem desses saberes, tomando como referência a elaboração do Projeto de Ensino, a Prática de Ensino na escola e as Experiências no processo de escolarização;(c) estabelecer relações, se possível entre a aquisição desses saberes e a identidade docente;(d) apontar a compreensão que os professores da escola que recebem estagiários têm sobre os saberes docentes.Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, descritiva, que utiliza como técnicas para a coleta, a entrevista e a fonte documental, tendo na análise do conteúdo a...

Desenvolvimento regional: a economia dos municípios das regiões administrativas central e de Campinas

O principal objetivo desta monografia é estudar a economia e seu respectivo grau de crescimento e desenvolvimento de quarenta e dois municípios localizados nas Regiões Administrativas de Campinas e Central do Estado de São Paulo. Tal análise nos remete ao século XIX com a montagem do complexo cafeeiro, além de promover a ocupação do território paulista e prover o capital para a indústria nascente, criou toda a infraestrutura (ferrovias, comunicação, bancos) que resultou na elevada concentração industrial no Estado de São Paulo até a década de 70. O segundo capítulo consiste na descrição das duas regiões administrativas (Campinas e Central), em que serão analisadas as principais variáveis econômicas como população, Produto Interno Bruto (PIB), emprego, produção agrícola e industrial, etc. A terceira etapa deste trabalho consiste na caracterização econômico-social de cada um dos quarenta e dois municípios subdivididos em suas respectivas regiões de governo. A influência da ginástica laboral na flexibilidade de seus praticantes

Nowadays is more than proven by several studies in the area that flexibility is one of the first physical abilities to be impaired with advancing age. Around 40 years old, there is an acceleration in the loss of flexibility that is heavily influenced by other factors as like standard level of physical activity and health, and this could eventually lead to a difficulty in performing activities of daily basis. Active Break was created with the intention to minimize the negative impacts from the sedentary life and health of workers and encourage healthier habits in employees through stretching exercises. A lot is said about the loss of flexibility with advancing age and various ways to minimize these losses. It is necessary for us as physical educators, using techniques learned through years of learning to prove the validity of a physical activity program in improving worker health. Therefore the aim of the study was to investigate the influence of the Active Break in different flexibility joints of the participants of physical activity program offered by the NAFES laboratory and compare whether there are differences in flexibility between workers who participate in classes with those who are not. The study included 15 workers of Institute of Geosciences and Exact Sciences (IGCE) UNESP - Rio Claro. Where were two weekly gymnastics sessions lasting 15 minutes each, Within this environment were divided two groups, one who carried out the activities and the other served as control group that participated only in the evaluations. Three assessments were conducted, one before the start of a study, another 2 months later and the last one at the end of the study. On these assessments were collected measures of the angles of joints using a Fleximeter and the greatest distance achieved by the sit and reach test. Sensibilização e convencimento: a propaganda e os modos de ser criança

A infância, tal como conhecemos hoje é uma construção social. Segundo Áries, há indícios de que o início da infância tenha surgido entre os séculos XVII e XVIII, mudanças de comportamento da sociedade aos poucos desenharam a infância atual, antes predominava a indiferenciação entre as fases da vida. Hoje temos uma infinidade de produtos de consumo destinados à infância e lidamos com a incerteza do papel que esta ocupa atualmente. A criança não possuí um lugar estático na sociedade, o olhar social sobre a infância está em constante transformação, o lugar que está ocupa também. Neste contexto, a mídia exerce grande influência no comportamento e relações sociais. Pensando em tais influências, nas transformações que estas podem trazer à sociedade e dirigindo nosso olhar para a mídia televisiva e as propagandas publicitárias, que são construídas com objetivos determinados. Buscamos com este estudo ler, a partir das propagandas publicitárias televisivas, formas, que estas, indiciam, mostram e criam modos de ser criança e de conceber a infância na contemporaneidade. No primeiro capítulo faremos uma discussão sobre a concepção de infância e seu surgimento. Os três últimos capítulos foram construídos a partir do estudo das propagandas escolhidas para o trabalho, dividimos as propagandas de acordo com a infância apresentada por estas: Infância adultizada, Infância ingênua e um método utilizado pelas propagandas que faz alusão ao público infantil, a animação.

Desenvolvimento de aplicações Web com base em modelagem 3D: módulo Android

This project brings the development of an Android application which will allow users to access 3D models on web. The application developed allows Android devices to access web pages which have code that should use OPENGL to renderize. To demonstrate this functionality, an example web application was build, using technologies such as X3DOM and HTML5, which uses WebGL to get renderized. This web application gives to the user an environment of a virtual city, where he could surf by and interact with the objects. The Android application brings this immersion to the mobile world, also. The access and storage of data was developed a Webserver, which bring to the web application a simple API to give access to the database
